I booked an outstation cab to Pondicherry through quick ride for my parents and by Quick Ride’s estimate it was supposed to be 5900. When the trip ended the driver asked my dad to additionally compensate for toll/state tax/extra 10 kms and demanded additional payment bringing the total to 7000. The driver never showed any bills nor did quick ride provide any breakdown. If these are legitimate costs, I am more than willing to pay it but to jack up the price citing specious expenditure is fraudulent and tantamount to crime.

    We booked an out station cab to Pondicherry which by quickride’s estimate was 5900 rs. However the driver asked for additional payment to compensate for toll/state tax/ additional kms which we did and bringing up the total to a 7000+. The numbers presented by the driver were clearly fraudulent and did not show us any bills. Quick ride at the very least can provide me a legitimate bill highlighting the breakup however no response from them.

      I have booked a ride on Quick Ride application on my mobile.
      I have found a ride provider nearby my location and booked a ride.
      Quick Ride application requested to pay an amount before getting connected to ride provider.
      After getting connected with ride provider It is understood that ride is not available for booked day and I have cancelled the ride.
      Quick Ride mentioned in their application that cancelled ride payment will be refunded.
      But till now, even after more than one month days I have not received my refund.

        Hi,

        Quick ride is cheating ride giver by "selling commute pass" to the ride taker by giving discount on daily rides.

        They are charging service charges in addition to this.

        For example: distance is 15 kms approx, and ride giver is earning hardly 35-40rs max.

        So, can you please stop fooling people and take your service charge only and don't cheat people by giving offers.

          My account was suspended abruptly by quickride on the ground of receiving negative feedback. However, when i am asking for clarification, they aren't submitting anything to me. This is already hampering me in a great deal, because i depend on this service.

          Even after multiple email exchanges, they continue to be arrogant and are not sighting reasons behind this suspension.

          They say that it will stay and can't be revoked.

          I have all the account of an issue that happened between myself and a person who was offering the ride on 17th april, 2019. Because as per them, this largely is the step behind this move.

          I would maintain my stand, no matter what:

          “the other person didn’t have any right to disrespect me, malign me, racially abuse me and cause any mental/physical agony and harm. And my only fault remains that i was talking over the phone, yet maintaining the sanity inside the car. I was never asked/requested to put the phone down either, just met that fate as a shocker”.

          Hello quickride

          This is an issue that happened with me today, 17th april 2019 for my return journey and ride with santosh rao, 4:28pm.

          To begin with, the guy was as arrogant as anyone you like, because he didn’t even apologize for being later (He reached at 4:50 pm). Secondly, he had kept his bag at the back seat and he bluntly told me to take my resting left arm off it, as it carried something which was important. I only acknowledged however, in reality, i should have asked him to keep his bag at the trunk, if it was containing anything that could get damage with an arm.

          Anyway, i received a call from my sister (I can even show the call log, if anyone wants) and keeping everyone’s sanity in mind, i only was talking over the phone gently and in a low tone.

          Santosh got offended and he abruptly halts his car near bomanhalli and instructs me to get down from the car. I had no knowledge of what transpired or what wrong i had committed. However, he got down from his car and shouts on me to abandon the vehicle immediately.

          When i intervened and tried to make any sense of it, he tells me that it wasn’t a cab, and i shouldn’t be talking. Now, here are my concerns and major problems:

          - if he had any problem with me talking, he should have requested me to put the phone down, which he never did
          - does that give the person the right to shout, humiliate, demean, disrespect and beyond all, racially abuse?
          - i have been a quickride rider for more than 3 months now, and i can write with some degree of authority that people do take calls in the car and i haven’t witnessed any issue with people on that front
          - he tried to runover his car on me and cause harm. I could have been servery injured because of his irresponsible actions
          - last but not the least, even if quickride holds me responsible of not obeying the terms and conditions (Of taking permission before taking a call), which honestly i wasn’t aware of, does that give the other person the right to cause harm, mentally and physically?

          I am not in a position to take that lightly and would approach the police for significant action against the individual, santosh rao.

          I also would like quickride to take-up this matter and take corrective action, i. E. Blocking this user permanently on the basis and grounds of being racial, abusive, humiliating, offensive, insensitive, irresponsible and being derogatory in nature.

          did you got any response on this complaint?
          this app is not capable to get any rating they running fraud business. had deducted my money from quick ride wallet but not credited in my paytm account i have mail 10 time but there is no response and also called several time every time they give the time max 5 day u will get the amount but still no amount received. approx 750 rs. is stuck. don't install this app.
