Complaint regarding servicing of ARV autoland Alappuzha Kerala

I am having a tvs streak scooty purchased during April 2010 from ARV autoland, Alappuzha, Kerala. About 45 days back it had a starting trouble. The engine will start, but stops when acceleration is given. Being a senior citizen, I made a complaint at ARV autoland, and asked them to collect the vehicle from my home and get it serviced. It took more than 3 weeks to get it back due to lockdown. (On a Wednesday, SVC charge rs.1300) The very next day I noticed that oil is leaking from the back side. Next day I made several calls, nobody answered.(on Friday). Next Monday also I called many times, but of no use. On Wednesday one man answered and told me that he will send some one. This is the 8th day after that. Still nobody came.

Shaking and loud sound while driving
I have bought tvs scooty streak in 2013, 2 months ago i met an accident i fell down right side after that i cannot able to drive the scooty as earlier because some hard sound while escalator giving more and because of sound vehicle is shaking. Plz let me know what is the problem so that i can explain to my service centre. I have given to repair near my home they did service but still the sound is coming and shaking.

SUDDEN BREAKDOWN

I BOUGHT TVS SCOOTY STREAK ON 04.07.2012, FROM BHOPAL, ATTRACTIVE TVS, SONAGIRI, BHEL, BHOPAL.THERE IS CONTINOUS CALL FRM SERVICE CNTRE RGRDNG SERVICING OF THE SCOOTY, IF ITS PAID SRVICE.I GOT THE LAST SERVICING DONE IN SEP 2014.THERE WAS PRBLM OF SUDDEN BREAKDOWN IN MID WAY, WHENEVER I SLOWED DOWN THE VEHICLE.I CONVEYED THE PRBLM TO THE CENTRE. JUST AFTR 3 DAYS OF SERVCNG, THE SAME PRBLM STARTED. EVRY TIME I HAD TO FOLLOWUP CONTINUOUSLY, TO GET IT DONE CORRECT.YSTRDAY ON 25.11.14 AGAIN THE SAME PRBLM HAPPENED. I CALLED MANY A TIMES AT THE SRVCE CENTRE, THEY STRD TELLING ITS UR FAULT, IT HAS TO B SERVICD EVRY 3RD MNTH. MY QUSTION IS THAT EVEN AFTR SRVCNG IF THE PRBLM IS NOT TKN CARE OF IS IT THE FAULT OF THE CUSTOMER. BRKDWN OF VEHICLE MIDWAY MAY TAKE A LIFE, IS THE CUSTOMER RESPONSIBLE FOR IT.

My scooty streak MH-02 BN 7754 purchased on 19/9/2009
I have not recieved the original RC book from the showroom & the showroom shut down.
Have inquired in several tvs scooty shops & contacted your helpline number several times.
However extremeley disappointed with the after sales service you provide to you existing customers.
I have informed the helpline number that Im a working person & am not allowed to rake phonecalls at work, which they REFEUSED to understand & the only response I got was, Someone will call me back.
Total miscommunication & POOR customer service.
Kindly escalate this matter.
I am asking for my original documents.

the bike does not start- battery problem.

I had purchased the bike in the month of Apr'14 from Neo motors, Bangalore When I first bought the bike I noticed that there were problems.. like the side stand siren does not go off when the bike is switched on, the rear wheel of the bike shakes even when the speed is less than the minimum speed (40kmph). I called the dealer & he said that it will get corrected when I give it for service.
At 1st service @ Kubera Motors, Bangalore- I told the service technician about the side stand siren, the speedometer had stopped working by then & the rear wheel alignment. The bike was serviced & given it back.. i took it thinking that all the problems had been solved. But after a few weeks, even before the bike completed its two months, the automatic start does not work, every time i need to start, i had to kick start the vehicle. So I took it back to the service center (Kubera Motors), the technician said that the battery had to be charged & so I paid for the electric charging.. Worst part is that the bike does not kick start when the battery is removed... when asked about it, the technician said it is how the scooty streak is manufactured. after two days of battery charging, the bike would not auto start again, so I called back the service center.. & they said that they would get back to me but nothing so far.
Wondering why does a company make these so called transport friendly bikes.When it is nothing but torturing the customers with their faulty designs..

engine problem in vehicle

i have bought a new scooty streak before 1 year from the 1st day there is engine problem i have informed ramkey motors medavakkam where i bought it, often relating the problem but they said its common and there is nothing problem with it and now the bike is not in a good condition to run. please help me to recover it by replacing it

Pathetic Customer Service of TVS

Dear Sir/Madam,
We bought a TVS Scooty Streak in March 2012. Recently in The month of January 2013, we noticed a manufacturing defect where the front shock absorber oil seal bolt set was completely removed which was the manufacturing defect. My husband met with major injuries. We raised a complaint by callling toll free numbers. We had serviced it in Bangalore three months back before the incident happend. We had manager from Showroom call us & speak with regarding to the same. HE kept arguing saying that it was not TVS company fault. He said if I had done service in the same showroom, he would have taken measures otherwise he is helpless, but tell me if TVS manufactures vehicles like this & something serious happens who will be held responsible. I didnt get any other response yet.,....I am fed with its services...Finally we had to get it repaired from our pocket. I AM AWAITING A RESPONSE FROM so callled TVS MOTOR COMPANY, for the same. I as a personal will never ever in my life avail TVS services nor buy any of their products. Goodbye to TVS.........There are many other good companies, I am willing to go & buy products for a safety ride.... Buying products from TVS is very risky......Be Careful People............

I bought a TVS scooty Streak in April 12 from SAI TVS, Ratu road, Ranchi.For the first few days everything was fine but then the vehicle started giving problems. It wont start up whatever measure you try. Many a time I had to call the showroom people to check this problem.
Apart from the engine starting problem the biggest concern was the mileage. The only two reasons I went to buy this junk were that since the scooty is light weight and is of less engine capacity and the second one is that it is easily available. For the other brand like Honda and Hero you have to wait for a month or so.
The vehicle will not perform well even after the servicing. Also the bike servicing provided by the SAI TVS is totally faulty. I believe they don't have properly trained mechanics.But the unprofessional behavior of their staff towards the customer is like cherry on top.
I would like to raise the attention of the TVS MOTOR Corp authority to have a look at services these showrooms provide to their customers and take necessary action.Also properly train and teach some manners to the staff.
And at last its going to be my first and last experience with TVS anyway. And also I would suggest others to think twice before wasting their hard earned money on their junk vehicles and the worst servicing.
Finally Bbye & Sionara to TVS for forever...

I am brought the bike at September 2011,your give the 3 free service but still my bike 9 th service is running .
2 ed service is change starting motor.
3 ed service is change suspense
at 1 st service to tell the running off problem.
The bike will stop at every 1 or 2 km.maximum when the flue tank is ON position

Defective new vehicle sold to me

I have purchased TVS Scooty Streak model from M/s Maruthi Motors, Arya Gowda Rd, Chennai 600033 TN. on 26.12.2011
The vehicle was defective one - some back pulling problem , STOPS IMMEDIATLY WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS RUNNING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD AND I WAS ABOUT TO MET WITH ROAD ACCIDENTS MANY TIMES.
1st free service was done on 30.1.2012
Complaint given to the dealer, after checking the vehicle he told that "" THE CORPORATOR OF THE VEHICLE WAS DEFECTIVE ONE AND REPLACED IT WITH NEW ONE""
But, even after change of the corporator, the vehicle is having same dangerous problem.
On 12.3.12, the vehilce is again handed over to the workshop.
I FEAR TO DRIVE THIS VEHICLE WITH SUCH VERY VERY DANGEROUS DEFECT. I WANT REPLACEMENT THE VEHICLE.
KINLDY SETTLE THE MATTER WITHOUT DRIVING ME FROM PILLER TO POST, FORCING ME TO KNOCK THE DOORS OF CONSUMER COURT ETC TO SETTLE MY CLIAM

TVS Scooty Streak — Non delivery of papers related to scooters
Paid for a scooty streak (Have a receipt for the same) on 09 July 2010, got the scooty on 12 July 2010, but papers are still not given till today (28 Nov 2010).When enquired in TVS dealership chain - found that this guy is known for this - he has not paid for many scooties to Sajawat Motors and Vasu Motors and I dont know how many more such dealers/subdealers/brokers.
TVS company says they can not help as this is no Dealer of Sub dealer.
The person concerned ARUN and RAMAKANT issuesd a cheque for the same amount I paid him, the cheque was stopped even before presentation.
I have sent him legal notice, he is not replying, he is such a thick skinned guy that he keeps on promising the documents in 10 days everytime I call.
Let me know if you can help me how to register a complaint in consumer court.

I purchased a brand new TVS Streak from the TVS authorized dealer “Prabha TVS – Chennai” on 11/11/2011. (FYI, The invoice number is 2328)
I paid the full amount and rest of the registration process is completed smoothly with the dealer.
But later when want use the bike its giving a lot of troubles for me.
On 19/11/2011, (The bike reading is just 20 Kms),when I want to use the bike...

stops suddenly..and does not starts too

I have Purchased Scooty streak from nerveram motors bistupur last year.It was troubling me from the first month. during winter days it refused to start, i had to try for more than half an hour for it to start. It was stopping all of a sudden in middle of traffic on rainy days i had to push the vehicle for kilometers together, then it starts, after driving for 2min it will stop again. i dont know for which season this scooty is made..!!

Stops Suddenly on rainy day

I have Purchased Scooty streak in April 2011 from Vishal Motors Hyderabad.It was troubling me like hell.It was stopping all of a sudden in middle of traffic and on rainy day i have to push the vehicle for kilometers together, then it starts, after driving for 2min it will stop again.When i have planned to get a bike.i have read d reviews of Mahindra's two wheelers.I thought i took a wise decision when i have decided to get TVS scooty but in no time i realized that i have bought the worst bike ever.Please donot go for TVS bike especially girls it was never easy pushing 100 kg damn bike for kilometes to get it repaired

This is Nagaraju from Vizag, even I had the same problem.
But I came to know this occurring due to filling adultrated petrol only. Now a days most of dealers mixing with water. That causes this issue
For me, this issue has been resolved once I have changed petrol filling station in Vizag.
I think, TVS streak has manfacturing defect, becuase I used to fill the same petrol for my Passion bike but it is working though even If I used adultarated petrol

Fake service

i noticed a throttle problem with my streak , the brike was dragging or almost stops when raising throttle . As it was also time for the 7th service , i gave the bike for service on 20th july morning to the same "authorised tvs service center in tambaram santorium " where we bought the bike . I reported the issue , the service person noted it down and said he have to check the bike , fix the problem so he can give the bike back only on 22nd evening (normaly they return on the same day evening) . It cost me 564Rs for the service .After service, on 23rd itself the bike broke down .. the bike completely stoped and wouldn start again . i was stuck in the middle of the road, 20 km from tambaram with no mechanic shops near by.
Noone picks the call in the service center after 7 pm and the mechanics leave by 6:30 pm it seems . On checking with another repair center mechanic they informed that only the oil has been changed and water wash was done , the filters and carborator was not cleaned and wiring is not tight and the pin which holds the air pipe is missing !. i had to pay this mechanic 150Rs to start the bike . !! i again had to go back to tvs center and get the pin fixed and bike checked out .
in additon to loosing money and wasting 3 man powers days on the intial useless service and breakdown and repair and risking person safety when bike breakdowns at the middle of nowhere at odd hours , i have completely lost faith in TVS service centers which doesnt really do anything but just give a water wash and get your money !

vehicle turn off in rain

The vehicle turns off every now and then in rain and in during heavy rain it turn off while riding itself, and if the vehicle is in the rain for more couples of hours it doesn’t start, When tried to start again, takes about 20 mins to start. We get stuck at traffic signals. Get late to work. Repeated complaints to the ASC’s have fallen to deaf ears.

my streek frame no. is MD626D437A2E74334, selling dealer code 10276.
actually in the scooty streek manual book there are 9 services coupins in which there is printed as first three services are free and from fourth service it will be chargable for amount. but at time of purchasing on 07/07/2010 , the person ( TVS COMPANY ) told that ACCORDING TO THIS MONTH, WE ARE GIVING OFFER AS UPTO 9 SERVICES ABSOLUTELY FREE FREE FREE. in reality they are charged from us Rs. 200 /- each for first, second, and third services and saying that we are charging 200 as for engine oil changing. i kept bill of 200 rupees with me only.
i went to fourth service today on 18/03/2011 (friday) morning at 9 A.M. they told me shocking news that fourth service is not free service and you should have to pay 400 rupees for servicing.
Rs. 200 for service charge
Rs. 150 for Labour charge
Rs. 50 for changing engine oil.
is it true ? please take necessary action on this complaint. u can contact me on [protected]. actually i have given the streek at morning at 9 A.M they told me that they can return me back after 5.30 P.M. can u help me in this matter.

yes i really facing high service charges from tvs company branch which is located in thanjavur. even for first second and third services also they are charging totally 600/- rupees( rs 200 per each service.)

I have bought this vehicle from your dealer Adishwar Motors Pvt. Ltd. located at Mirzapur Road, Opp. Jansatta Press, Ahmedabad - 1 now shifted to Khanpur, Opp. Cama Hotels, Ahmedabad Tel. No.[protected] & 25502672. Dealer's code No. : 10055.
I am absolutely unsatisfied with the vehicle in terms of basic performance. Since the day I have bought this vehicle, I have faced numerous problems like start up issue, scooty stopping after running for few minutes or even less, etc.
I have regularly serviced this scooty from dealer's workshop even have also serviced for fourth time after paying above Rs. 800/- during which I have reported this problem. After that also I have called mechenic of your dealer's workshop at my residence due to startup problem they have repaired this vehicle, but after a day or some hours the same problem persist.
This type of problem happened for fourth time in a row now. I am now pretty frustrated and I wish that I get a replavement vehicle for the same since it is very much within warranty. This type of problem happened for fourth time in a row now. I am now pretty frustrated and I wish that I get a replavement vehicle for the same since it is very much within warranty. Worst Customer Service from the dealers

I had purchased a TVS Scooty Streak from Swagath Motors, No. 103, Mallappa Building, Old Madras Road, K R Puram, Bangalore-560036. This the worst dealer in whole of K R Puram. It has been 2 weeks, he hasn't installed the accessories for my vehicle yet and no response. He has taken the payment in full after that he not responding to call or any my request. Is there way to teach such dealers a lesson? Probably canceling the dealership and penalizing heavily for worst customer service/ treatment would teach such dealers a lesson. The owner, Ravi Chandra, is one lazy who is root cause for my troubles. Is there a way where I can raise a complaint in consumer court against such dealers who are inefficient in their work and service? Will I get any compensation for it? Can anyone let me know about it?

i purchased a tvs scooty pep plus from malabar tvs perinthalmanna [malapuram dis ] .i take the 1st service from sreyas tvs ie, on ottapalam [palakkad dis] .they told me there is no water service today. Today our techenican is leave ok iagree .after 4 hour they return my pep and paid 350 rupees .the same as feel for the 2nd sevice .I return my vehicle from ther with out service I see so many vehicle &service centers they are very well and decent behavior ifeel very sad what service is they done They are sitting on ther for cheating not for servicing this is my last purchace from tvs

I have purchased my tvs streak last year only, after buying my byke from Kormangla "sri hari motors" i found my scooty is having problem like break and starting problem.I complaint about same several time to service center people but didnot get any solution.on 7th of july i got sudden break down and was not geeting started i showed my scooty to machinic infront of me and not left my byke they told that some parts are duplicate thats why i am geeting problem.I called the service center people but they are not geeting things done and when i complaint about that parts is been changed they are not aggreng not even coming to take my byke not responding properly to me...

I have completed three free services and third service was completed on 17/09/2011 at the
2728 KM. Vehicle No is TN 18 F 1627 . I found slight oil leakage at engine bottom side after the third service and slowly oil leak increased and Vehicle handed over for service on 12/10/2011. Vehicle delivery taken on 16/10/2011. ( Service time 4 days- Too High ) and paid the gasket charges Rs 252. Vehicle engine dismantled and all the gasket replaced.
I am working in TVS group company.
My question is, Vehicle is under warranty period how can you collect the gasket and other charges.The vehicle covered only 3100 Km and how it is possible to broken the gasket. I can not get the clear answer from your supervisors.

Starting Problem

We have purchsed it on 22/04/ 2010 from PAVA , Nasik road , Nasik. It work fine for 2 months but after that from last 4 months it has STARTING PROPBLEM. It is not getting start by kick or by button (auto) start.After applying 30/40 kicks also, it is not getting started. We have shown it to service station but still having same problem after that. Also do not have good responce from Service station.It is not really satisfactory. It is giving average of only about 35-40km/ltr.These problems are told to the dealer many times but no action has taken by them.I want my scooty to be replaced. and expect some good model which will not have such problems. Please expecting some helps from you.

i always have staring problem in rainy day
I had purchased TVS STREAK for my wife. We had faced tremendous problem with this bike. Startup problem is a major issue. we had to put lot of effort at the morning to gets vehicle start up. I had complained to TVS people about the same, but no solution came up. - SUBHENDU DAS, CHAKDAHA, NADIA
I have purchased TVS streak in Chennai 1Avenue Ashok nagar after third service, I got starting problem. Each and every time they are changing some parts nearly 3000 to 4000. but problem is not sort out. Last time they changed the battery. Again getting the problem again service. Now they are saying coil problem.

We have purchased 3 scooty streak from ASR Dealers pallavaram. According to the manual within 600 kms or 1 month first service has to be done, 2nd service has to be done by 3 months or[protected] kms, 3rd service after 11 months. Due to continous travelling we were unable to send the vehicle for service till 4 months, we had taken the vehicle for service but when we took the vehicle in mid of 5th month, dealer informed he will take the vehicle only for 3rd service and there will be no warranty. After paying INR 43000 and buying a vehicle and getting this kind of reply is pathetic. Vehicle has just travelled 1300 kms and I think it should be eligible for 2nd service, some kind of customer satisfaction should be there. While marketing they were on their knees but after service has been pathetic. They just go by the manual provided by TVS. I would like to have few questions, when they can do anything and everything to sell a product why can't they satisfy the service levels. Before we buy a vehicle we receive hundreds of call's as follow up, once the deliver is taken we don't get a single call as reminder for service or any other details which is offered with certain dealers. Really I don't know how ASR has been offered a dealer-ship for the kind of service they have been providing to the customers. Though we have bought 3 scooty streak within a period of 3 months there has been no positive approach from the dealer and it is sad how can we promote this vehicle to our friends and relatives with this kind of shabby handling.
I hope TVS is really interested in customer satisfaction.

I had brought a new tvs scooty streak [black color] on 28-09-09 i.e, on dussehra from Vishal TVS {authorised servive centre under Susheel TVS} .From the second day it gave the starting problem. It is never starting in cold morning.atleast it had to be seven O' colck in the morning to start the vehicle.If it starts after travelling over one km from the start the vehicle stops.The kick should be operated atleast 40 times.I request th TVS...

I bought a scooty streak on Aug 19th....Whenever I rode the vehicle at constant speed i would experience a jerk..I Informed the service center people about this during the very first week . Keeping the vehicle for a couple of hours thy returned me the vehicle citing "its fine now!!!". But I noticed no change.... now along with the jerk there was rhythmic vibration too!!!! Thrice I went to the service center and I recieved the same...
