[Resolved] City Cool Cab — Fraudulent metre

I took a cool cab earlier today. To come from Bandra Kurla Complex to Turner road in Bandra West (7.3 km) according to google maps, the cab I took (MH02BQ2409, drives by one Mr. Rayees) had a metre which showed 18.2 km charging me ₹350. This is clearly fraudulent. I made no stops and since this was at 3 pm, traffic was minimal. When I pointed this out, the cabbie started getting slippery. He claimed the pyer km rate was ₹22. At this rate, I should've paid him only ₹160. However, just to get out of the cab, I paid ₹210 for my own safety. Pls ensure such cabs are taken out of circulation. The metre is so clearly fraudulent.

City Cool Cab Customer Care's response Hi I have previously to replied to your complaints. These a Ara do jot belong to us these are Coolcabs our company name is city Coolcab we have a our own complaint resolution system. This customer will not have a booking reference no that we have he has not booked the cab with us. And how can he file a complaint to our company. We do not receive reply from you when we reply. The right forum to complain about this is the RTO.
We request you again not to confuse in company names and tarnish our image or we will be forced to take some action about your lack of knowledge.
