I had recharged rs. 28 twice on 6th June, 2009 on my airtel mobile.
So there was an offer saying that if reach rs. 28 we will get rs. 38 STD talk time. I should get 76 minutes since I have got it done 1 rupee STD.
I hardly talked for less than 20 mins. When I was trying to call, it's saying that my account balance is too low to make calls. Pls. do the needful.

    On 1.06.2009 i buy your DTH service.On same day you employee come to my
    home to set the DTH service.On setting time i ask him that picture is
    not clear but they ask me that this problem is short-out after 12 hours
    but till date the problem is remain same.Now a other problem start that
    the face of every people seen in chaneel not shows clearly.The quality
    of picture is very poor from very first day.After ensure by your people
    i do the signature on the custumer relationship form.But till date the
    problem remain same.

    You are requested to please take a necessary action in this matter...

      I'm Pramod Jadhav customer of airtel maharastra (prepaid mobile sim card [protected]).
      I've a mobile sim card for more than 2 years. It was working fine till april 2008. After that problems started..
      ..first of all my plan got changed. I complaint about that lots of time but didnt get ractified. Then i got understood...that is not gonna correct...so i left that and moved on...

      ...now the major problem is that...while im in delhi...my number is not working.
      the situation is like this...i came down to delhi..in last july2008. I still have around 80Rs balance and still have validity till around 15 of sept.
      ...so after coming down to delhi i took new local sim card of delhi airtel...so i just shut down my maharastra card.
      After some 6-7 months i got a sudden need so i tried to start my old card that is still getting signal showing me network but not getting registered with it.
      I tried lots of times after that ...even i also spoke to customer care of delhi circle but he refused to as they are helpless in this case...
      Please help me in the same..
      ...and come out with real solution...and plz dont givme any non sense reason or solution...
      ...hope u people are good at other hand and help me out.

      SUBJECT: BAD AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE .

      It's about to be a month now, i have being calling your customer care service to stop my cricket pack which was by mistake activated by me . But your customer care service always fails in solving my problem . They said that they have forword my request and my request reference number is [protected] but still there is no result. Now as a result every day my three rupees get debited.
      I would like you to consider my request of deactivating my cricket pack .

        Dear Sir,

        I have taken a Airtel connection on 07.06.2009. Details of which are:-

        After more than 2 weeks, my Airtel SIM is not activated by your customer care. I have contacted with the person accountable for Jagdalpur (Chhattisgarh) region, M/s Sajawat as well as Airtel Raipur (Chhattisgarh) Zonal Head, Mr.Mehfuz Ali. I was being disappointed by the way they talked to me and their concern over taking necessary steps to solve the matter.

        I want to know that what is my fault and why your local people not cooperating me?

        The Biggest problem is that they are saying AV-(address verification negative) problem.
        Sir I want to take my address proof into your notice that, my residential address proof is being issued by Central Govt Organization under Ministry of Defence.
        After having discussion with your Person in Jagdalpur I also have given another set of address verification as well as identity proof.

        As You Might be knowing as I am a Defence Person (Class-I Gaztted), Cellphone activation is of how much importance to me to handle various issues.
        I was forced to take this action because of Lack of Cooperation by you people.

        Kindly enquire in this matter and take appropriate action and fix a responsibility and accountability to that person who involved in this whole episode and inform me accordingly

        It is submitted to your Kind notice that I am working with Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company Ltd I have been provided with a postpaid Sim from your company as usual on company norms some 20 days before but the promptness of your service is such that the said Sim is not activated as on date. This is the worst service of yours i[censored] don't mind.You see the competition within the cellular world is such that the mere activation can be done within 24 hours but talking about yours tortoise & pathetic service I am heartfully cursing the moment I recommend myself yours brand.so kindly the activate the below numbered Sim[protected] as early as possible and please ensure my activation within 24 hrs to abstain me of further discomfort.

          My name i[censored]med Patil. I purchased Airtel Digital TV from Indore's reknown firm "LOTUS". It was purchased by me on monday 22 June 2009. It was still not installed at my place successfully. On 22nd June 2009 the Engineer installed the system but it did not worked. After that He went with the STB and promised me to come in tomorrow i.e. 23rd June 2009. On 23rd June 2009 I talk to his boss Mr. Vinay Sahu who horribly told me that "Why should I get worried".

          On today 24th June 2009 evening when I am posting this complaint my Airtel Digital TV still not installed at my home.

          I want to take this in to notice of Shri Sunil Mittal to look in this matter. I was not alone in Indore to face this problem more many also. If this type of problems and careless system followed in airtel, we stop this company through bad mouth publicity.
          i m also agree on your problem sir, but my problem is different. my case is my first free 6 months are over and the dealer tells previously that the setup AIRTEL STB have 1yr warranty now a problem arises from last 4 days that my Digital tv is not able to receive signals but the daily charge o[censored]se is continuously deducted from my account and this problem covers my area circle. Today i had complained for that but i don't get any satisfactory result and the are also applying Rs 300 for visit charge so i m totally confused what to do and how get out of this problem.

            I am explaning you in detail about problem

            1. When I enter in Mumbai I select Airtel network manually.but it does not work(i.e I dont get incoming call and cant make outgoing calls)

            2.Then I switch Off my mobile and restart it . I get the Service.

            But if I go from one place to another place in mumbai ( Say from churchgate to Dadar). again I face same problem.ie. I can't make calls and I dont get calls.

            And If I dont rome that is if I stay at chuchgate only for a complite day, I can make calls.

            I am facing this problem only in mumbai region and not any where else in India.

            Unfortunatly your service team is not able of handle this problem.

            I kindly request you to look into this matter and resolve it as early as possible.

                Hi readers,
                This is Saravana Kumar.I am from chennai.I was using an airtel POst Paid connection.
                The number is [protected].
                but due to high internet usage my bill was generated around 5000 or so.
                Then i changed my mind to move to pre paid connection.
                I got the call from collection depart from chennai and i explained the reasons and got one month time to pay my bill.
                I also gave my new prepaid no to them.
                Every thing was fine until this.
                But after a couple of weeks a girl form airtel collection department chennai, tooko my call list and started using bad words to my friends and me.
                She never gave me any room to explain th suitation.
                She continously started speaking badly.
                Boy i havent heard such bad words ever in my life.
                I was dreamed a girl could speak like this.
                She also threated me that she would take all my call list and would behave in the same mannaer to all of my callers.
                And she inisted the payment withintoday.
                I got th call around 3 pm and she said she needs the payment withthis evening else she is going to behave in the same way to my friends.
                I was cornered.
                Just tell me what a gut could do in this suitation.
                With my frnds help i paid around 4000 odd.
                After paying it when i called to her number, it said the no deos not exists.
                I got the call on Mar22 2009.

                Sine then i have tried atlest 1000 times to get the apology to my frnds who have not done any mistake.
                I mean it i really tried 1000 times or more.
                They would have picked the call around 100.
                few times they wont attend the call after a min when i call it will go in waiting.Which certains that they are ignoring me.
                but once i had a conference call with lady with one of her collagues but she said she havent used any bad words.
                and thank god i had recorded all the calls.
                i have even spoken with their supervisors.
                Mailed the recodring.
                Stil they havent gave any feedback to me.
                I am mentaly torured.
                There may be issues with the network with not getting towers are few other problems, but just look at my concern and lady speaking suck bad words to her valuble customers.


                So i have decided to move to court for the compensation of 10 lakh rupees and to human rights commission.
                I am not going to leave them without getting the compensation.

                Keep your fingers crossed because i may also write what happend to me in the court verdict.

                  Please stop Fusion WAP Services on the AIRTEL MOBILE. MY number is [protected]. Please ask opertor to attend this call. They say that they don't know how to stop it. Its 15/- per time and its happening whenever i recharge, or per 15 days. Please look for a better way to handle prepaid customers or you will loose businees.I have been loyal to AITEL for almost, 6-7 years. NOw, i am thinking to change because of this rediculous service desk.

                  This is complaint to you, without my permision your company start wap service, on my mobile no[protected].i have alredy complin in customer care, and he told me he stop the service, but again my balance is deducted by this service, every day Rs.10. will be deducted . so i requested to you please stop this servie i have no need for it. so please kindly pay attaintion..

                    Airtel online service — Problem with online service,no proper action or response from customer care

                    I am regular uses of Airtel online and now none of the gprs service is working.
                    I have activated mobile office on my no and mms as well.. Suddenly none of the services are working on my number though the fee for it is getting reduced from the balance. Even on repeated call to customer care no action has been taken.,

                    I hope i ll get a solution atleast after lodging complaint here..

                    Airtel — Tariff plan change, call to customer care blocked

                    My no is [protected](Bangalore)According to my tariff plan local call rate was 50/- ps.june first week(2008) it changed to 1/- Rs.The same tariff plan is available for my mates.i called to customer care at least 10 times to get an explanation regarding this.but i didnt get any explanation. every time executives tell the application is down or they cut off the line.Now i can not call to customer care too. it seems they blocked my calls to customer care.How can i get the justice in this problem?

                    Airtel Broadband — No Coonection Available

                    I am staying in Madiwala, Bangalore. On 07th Oct 2008, i went to the Madiwala office of Airtel for a new broadband connection at that time that person told me that it will take around 2 weeks as there are no free connection. i went again on 15th Oct and asked about the availiability of connection then that guy told me that by end of this month you will get the connection and next time do come with documnets of address proof.
                    As i was busy with my work for next 3 weeks and i went on 15th of Nov. with all document required, then that guy told me that tehy still dont have any connection and will take 2-3 months and you take some other connection like BSNL, tata etc.
                    can someone please provide me the mail ids of higher authorities of AIrtel broadband so taht i can raise this issue and tell them how these people are loosing their customer by directing then to other service provider.

                    airtel internet services — did not get the right plan for which i have applied

                    I had applied for Rs 699/- supersaver internet plan with the speed of 256 Kbps and a phone having some free call service. i got the connection 8 days before but its of 499/- with 128 Kbps and no phone at all.I have complained for it to the servies man but it didnot work then he suggest me to complain. I am still waiting for the correct service.Not any phone has been connected till now.so, what should i do now.Please do help me.

                    Broadband 500+ home plan — Broadband deposit amount

                    I have taken broad band 500+ home plan on telephone[protected]. At the time of applying actually I have applied for monthly rental of Rs.50/- for instrument on the basis of payment of Rs.500/- as non-refundable amount.

                    But to my surprise, an amount of Rs.1000/- has taken as deposit amount vide monthly bill for the month of Jul 08 vide bill no.TO[protected]Yand the same has been paid vide receipt no.4554612 dated 19 Aug 08.

                    In view of the above, an amount of Rs.1000/- which has been taken as deposit amount may be adjusted to pmt connection and the amount of Rs.50/- being charged till now may be adjusted in the forthcoming bills and oblize for which we will be grateful to you..

                    airtel broadband services/DSL — for non registration

                    I have been trying to register myself on your site for the last one & half months and seeking for ID & passward, so that I may know my pulses and other expenses or internet consumptions etc and for that purpose I made calls on 121 customer care and explained the entire story that when I wanted to register myself on your then there was an error or shown a massage that your registration is incomplete but there was nothing like this. after receving/attending my calls your representatives replied me that you need not to register yourself becuase we will register you and you just give us some information then I gave all necessary information as they demanded but all in vain. I also tried too much myself to register myself but could not be completed.
                    I further requested you that during using internet broadband some errors come and intruppted my enjoyable moments and some times I was on my professional site i.e. High Court Site and wanted to see the cause list of High Court during that time I am also suffering from unnecessary errors.
                    It is further submitted that during that days a representative came at my home and made a call me that he is from your company and he had to resolve the problem before 1.30 p.m. and at that time I was in court room and he requested to attend a call from chandigarh office that the problem has been resolved and he assured that he will come and see the problem after that he never came to my home at reasonable times nor he called me for the said problems
                    Now I am requsting you to provide me ID and passward of my connection so that i can utilize your services for which you are knwon to.
                    So please look into the matter and take appropiate action to provide me valuable services and untruppted services.

                    i agree with the airtel user problem since i am facing the overcharging problem and as it is my old no i can't change the no. too. In my previous bills i found that there was gprs was activated and they were charging me for more than 2-3 months i personally visited airtel office where i've been asked to call customer care, i called up more than 12 times even shoot an e-mail but no action has been taken. That way i've paid approx Rs 1000 for nothing.

                    i am yeshu sharma from nehru nagar, ghaziabad. i have taken airtel broadband connection on 9th june because my family really trust airtel thats why we have your airtel DTH service and many airtel phone no.s at our home but now i am loosing my trust on airtel people. your airtel customer executive gave us the wrong information about our internet plan and he kept on misguiding us even after i have visited your ARC. i want him to be terminated because he caused us so much trouble without any reason. now we have changed our plan according to our need. his name is rajinder and his no. is [protected]. i have also lodged a complain against him and complain no. is 20978424. please take action against him and kindly tell me why he was telling us to have that scheme which is only applicable in delhi i.e value combo 749 pack which is not applicable here in gzb. why he was lying to us and he is still doing that. it is because of his fault we got the wrong plan one airtel 749 pack which has limited DSL usage when we want unlimited.

                    Airtel Broadband Connection — Airtel - Insensitive to customer problems

                    Hello,

                    I have applied for a new airtel broadband connection on 28th Aug 09. I was promised that the connection will be given on the 30th of Aug. No signs. 31st Aug a person came and did some basic wiring. He said somebody would come in the evening with the modem and landline. That did not happen.
                    For the next 3 days I kept calling Airtel customer service.
                    My complaint number is 22654246. 2 of my calls were even escalated. Everybody gave me false promises. Please open up my call history and refer to what exactly was conversed.
                    On 1st of August I waited the whole day at home for your representatives. Nobody turned. Repeated calls to customer service also failed.
                    I was told that by Monday morning somebody would call me to fix an appointment. Nobody had called me yet.

                    I now don't need your connection. With that I need the below mentioned items.
                    1. Rs.1000 that I have paid as advance amount.
                    2. Call charges for all the calls I made to your customer service.
                    3. Written apology letter from a responsible person.

                    If all the above mentioned does not happen at the earliest. I will be force to step into consumer court.

                    I made my first request to disconnect my Airtel landline account (with broadband) on 7 November. After about 10 requests/complaints [complaint ref. nos.[protected]Nov-09),[protected]Nov),[protected]Dec),[protected]Dec), complaint made at Airtel Galleria Office-reference misplaced (19-Dec), spoke to Sr. Manager Airtel Customer Care-ref. misplaced (29-Dec), spoke to Sr. Manager Airtel, ref. no.[protected]Jan-2010), record for few other complaints misplaced], Airtel is yet to disconnect the line.

                    Airtel staff visited my home in November and convinced my maid Sushma to keep the broadband connection. My maid did not even understand the purpose of visit of Airtel staff and so did not mention anything to me. But later I was informed by Airtel CC that their records show that Sushma agreed to continue the account.

                    Each time I have to clarify to the Airtel CC that Sushma is my maid and I am the account holder. Airtel refuses to understand that they need to record and act on the many requests that I have made to cancel the account and not continue on their stupidity of talking and convincing my maid. The Airtel staff in Galleria office asked me to pay Rs. 192 as full and final settlement for usage of services from 1-7 Nov which I paid in cash. But Airtel continues to debit my account each month.

                    Airtel needs to credit my acccount for the sums they have debited for beyond 31 October 2009.

                    Now he is saying that there is no network coverage for new connection in this area.

                    Airtel Broadband — No response after payment

                    We live in Hogasandra, near Bommanahalli, Bangalore.

                    After seeing various advertisements about Airtel broadband in our apartment, i called up, and two airtel agents turned up the very next day, collected Rs.500 and additional money for attesting address proof and promised the new connection in 4 working days. Now it has been a month and a half and still i'm waiting for the connection. Absolutely no response from any of the airtel persons, and i'm given some false promises and reasons every time i call any one of them (must have called some 10-15 times)

                    I had great hopes on the timeliness and trust worthiness of Airtel, all wiped out now. This is the first time i come across such falsehoods from Airtel. I't would have been ok if someone gives atleast gives a responsible answer to keep the customer informed of the real status of the application, not trying to hide, after taking the payment.. :(:(

                    i vil say one thing. These MNC's ( airtel, idea, vodafone ) vil just forget u once u face any issue and u try to contact them t get it sorted. Lemme tel u my case. we had recntly shifted house to a new place n were looking 4 a broadband connection. Found airtel, called the no. in advertisement, wid in hrs got a call frm there local sales representive who came to the house, said the connection vil b done in 48 hrs, paid him the istallation charges. Everything done wid in 3 hrs. . . . Now i had to wait for a week to get the connection , y ? coz when v called after 2 days v got to kno dat there r no availble ports in the area, he said he vil try to arrange a free port n vil lu into the matters. Nathing happnd. Then v called the customer care to complain, v did the complain n within hrs got a call again frm smother airtel sales guy, who said that he cn provide me a new connection if i cancel the previous one, he came to r house in just half an hr, took the installtion money for a new connection n said he is going to forward a request to cancel my previous order. Again v had to wait for 4 days, v had to call him atleast 5 times a day for updates, n he was constanly giving us talla, today there was this problem tomorrow u vil definitly hve the connection blah blah blah. then finally after 5 days the installation team came, installed or did watever the hell they wanted to do, n said that ib vil need to wait till monday coz dat day wz satday n the nxt day wz sunday. So i waited till monday , the connection got active but smone frm airtel came n said plz don not use ur connection ( BB and Landline, both ) as it was smone's else connection or a wrong connection . Again had to wait for 2 days for thi sproblem to get sorted out. Finally had the BB frm Wednesday 13 days frm the first order.
                    So the question is, if the first guy was saying - " ports are not available ", then hw did the second one fullfilled the order.
                    N u kno wat the best part was, that the final installation which was done, was for the vry first order ( in which they said v cn not provide u BB coz no Ports r available ) . On wednesday i got a call frm the guy wid whom i had placed the second order saaying the connection dat has been activated is the first one , not the second one as v were thinking, n the installation team had screwd up !!! And he had the guts to ask me to cancel my activated connection n again apply for the second connection as he vil not b getting his share in the ORDER COMPLETED ....

                    I called them based on Sulekha classifieds AD. The service man came and installed an anti-virus and asked me to register the product within 30 days. He gave me a product key. Since I had no internet connection that time, I got the key and waited a further 5 days till I got a new connection.

                    When I tried to register, the system said that the product key was invalid.

                    I contacted the head of the firm and the service person but got no positive response except empty promises.

                    I had to call them everyday and on the 3rd day, the service person abused me.

                    I have applied for Broadband Internet Connection in BTM II- Stage, Bangalore.

                    I have paid Rs.550 /- to the executive (500 + House Rental Agreement(50)).

                    He filled some forms and returned back the copy to me, and finally he said it would take 1-2 weeks, working for the installation.

                    Airtel Broadband — No bills are being delivered from past 6 months and no proper response to the mails asking for clarification

                    I've been using Airtel Broadband services from 2007. Now, from past six months they stopped sending bills (No E-Bill or Paper Bills). I've continued to pay the rent over the internet.

                    After this I initiated an email communication with the Airtel Customer Support. For which I had no response for more than a week, after followup and CCing Nodal Officer (nodal.[protected]@airtel.in) responded saying they have sent the bills to my email ID. Though no emails with E-Bills were delivered to my email ID so far. And no corrective measures has been taken care by Airtel to fix this issue that I'm aware of. Also, they have failed to answer to my request to attach the e-mail containing e-bills to my request instead of sending it separately.

                    I followed up this issue again, but kept receiving the same answer stating the following -
                    * They can not process the bills beyond past 4 months
                    * They have sen the e-bill to my email ID

                    Following questions were not answered even after several follow up so far -
                    * What corrective action has been taken to fix the issues?
                    * Why the E-Bills are not delivered to me as claimed by Airtel?

                    Can someone here in this forum give me some guidance as to what are the laws that would protect consumer right in the above mentioned case and how can I proceed to get my bills delivered to right address (e-mail or paper bill).

                    Yes, the issue was resolved after mailing "[protected]@in.airtel.com". I would definitely recommend using this email ID for any complaints, instead of any other contact methods including nodal officers.

                    But, what I fail to understand is that why do I need to use this email ID, when none of the other contact methods work. It's quite sad that nothing works till the level of nodal officers. All of them keep repeating/parroting the same stuff - which is quite shameless and pathetic. Makes me wonder if those other methods were designed not to work and to keep the customer away as much as possible.

                    Airtel Broadband — Disconnected My Internet Connection Without Any Reason

                    Respected Sir / Madam,

                    I am Saravanan. I have got a new Broadband Connection from Airtel on May 20th -2011. They have given me a Phone no and they activated the line and internet.

                    Airtel telephone number is [protected] and Account uumber is 16550698.

                    On May 24-2011 night 09:41PM they have disconnected my Internet Connection. When i spoke with the Customer care they told they have received a Termination request from my end. But i have not given any complaint.

                    This is the Complaint No I have given in Airtel Complaint No : 46790950.

                    I spoke with various people of the department but none have responded me well. later in the evening there was one more compliant i gave them the no is 46802872.

                    Later in night they are telling that there was no request raised from my end but they have blocked the internet for me.

                    Untill now they have not resolved this issue.

                    Please look into this and take the necessary steps.

                    I had applied for the unlimited broadband connection (512 kbps of tariff 799/-)(Phone No.[protected] for the first two months i got bill next of the months once i was getting bill some months i did not get after lodging compliant also it is repeating. i have requested that i need bill for accounts purpose, then also i am not getting hard copy of bill properly. i have also changed my option from sending hard copy to send soft copy for email address now also i am not getting bill properly. i was not accepted this from airtel service. After requesting also i am not getting bill properly.

                    Airtel Broadband — no response against the complaint registered

                    I had registered a complaint (request no.[protected] ,10 days ago by visiting the airtel centre in person,for the router problem due to which the wi-fi connection is v.weak. I was promised that the problem would be resolved within 10 working hours,and the technical team would visit the premises.

                    I recently moved to Bangalore from USA retired after 40 years in USA.
                    I contacted Airtel for landline and internet. It has been almost 2 weeks and the installation is not complete yet. I have called them almost 50 times , twice or thrice every day. They give me the same answer each time saying it will be fixed in 24hours and keep on giving me Complaint numbers and nothing happens.
                    I am unable to register(to monitor my account and pay bills) myself as a customer in the Airtel website as it does not recognize my landline number.when I input my number thro' my phone to call AIRTEL it does not recognize. I have been calling using the option as a request for new connection. My intercom is not connected. My building has AIRTEL service.
                    My last complaint number is 17404424. I have a full page of complaint numbers. The sales person who came to my flat and took the money for installation does not respond to phone calls or emails.
                    I would appreciate your help in this matter.
                    We chose Bangalore to settle down as it was highly recommended as a nice place to live.

                      After such a long follow-up neither the connection shifted to Ghaziabad nor the no disconnected fom old address. Also i got bill for period of 23.04.2009 to 22.05.2009 of amount Rs. 1508.00/- (Previous Balance 635.00 for which no bill received and 872.54/- for May month rental. I have tried the no.[protected] for 15 days but couldnt get the no. it always use to be busy.

                      Without using any internet or phone and after already given request for diconnection the broadband connection, how can i pay the bill.

                      After such a long followup there is only one way left for me to go for Consumer Court.

                      Before that i wanted to inform you about my problem, hoping that you'll surely solve my problem.

                      Kindly look into this matter and resolve the problem. (Before one month for me Airtel was best service provider either in internet and mobile but now i think its becoming worst.)

                      Bharti Airtel, Broadband — False Bill

                      Dear Sir,

                      I was a customer of Airtel broadband.
                      I had an airtel broadband connection with the airtel no[protected].
                      I had paid all my dues in the month of February, 2009 and then called Airtel Customer care to de-activate my broad band connection(ref requesd id: 198392 dtd 21st february, 2009). Since then I am not using the airtel broadband service but my bill for the consecutive months are being generated by Airtel.
                      Sevaral times I talked with airtel customer care executive regarding this issue and they told me that I need not to pay anything. I have following request ids with me[protected],[protected].
                      But from last 10-15 days people from airtel are mentally harrassing me by asking about due amount whereas I don't have any due amount to pay.

                      Please let me know the legal steps and advice from the Indian Consumer Forum so that I can defend myself from the unwanted harrassments by the Airtel Broadband customer representatives.

                      Bharti Airtel — False billing

                      Dear Sir,

                      I have purchased an airtel data card in 2008. Since August 2009 i am facing a false billing issue. As per my plan of Rs. 599, i'm entitled to 1 GB free usage. But in my monthly bill, i was charged for all the bytes used. Since then i am fighting with Airtel and even lodged a complaint to Appelate authority Ms. Vaishavi, but left in vain. As per the last conversation with airtel, i requested them the monthly bills so that i can show them the fault, but not done untill now. My connection was suspended for not paying my bill in Oct or Nov 2009. Since then i get calls from collection dept. for payment of my bill.

                      I wonder when a complaint is lodged and no information requested by the customer is provided, how can the collection team make a call to the customer about payment. I have also served a notice from airtel to pay the amount.

                      I have only one request from airtel. Show my bills monthly bills and i am ready to pay the correct remaining amount (made some payments in between). Kindly request you to resolve the problem.

                      I have applied for Airtel Broadband connection here in Satna 2 months back and subsequently i got the connection, now from last 1 month the services of Broadband is worst then ever i have registre my complaint to their customer care number (Bhopal Call Center) 198 so many times and every time i just got the fake committments that my complaint will be resolve within company decided TAT.

                      I also tried to have words with circle nodel officer Mr. Anil Rai on the telephone number provided by the different customer support executive which is[protected] but i am very surprised that out of 5 to 6 regular calling first the number is ringing and then it simply pass on the message that "This number is busy please call after some time....." now from such kind of response its clearly indicates that number is just a formality for customer nobody are bother about the customer complaints.

                      Only motive of the company is just to fullfill their target for any defined terretory and after that they will least concern about the customer complaints. Since last one month i got 4 different complaint numbers but not even a single time my complaint has been entertained.

                      I make a request to shift my AIRETL landline phone on[protected]th July 2011. They promised me that the shifting will be done within 3 days but after 15 days of the request, nobody has contacted me and again they sent the bill for next month also. till date i am waiting positive response from Airtel but other than bill i didn't get anything. Please advise what shoud i do.

                        If you could handle the limit of Airtel's customer care and service for Digital TV. Please go for it.
                        Extremly well deserved customer care in the world to waste your time with.
                        And service for removing the top ups, need to call on limited days. And this top up is also a way to cheat the custemers and earning more money too. In your area, if the cable operator connection quality is good then go for it. Forget about bloody digital TVs. Don;t move yourself into a trap.

                        If you are going for Airtel Digital service, be prepared for the consequences. Customer care service will ask you to wait for more than 2 hours till the match gets over :-( . Without any valid reason they tell some technical issue. And getting the customer care connection is also a nightmare in the busy hours.

                        Iam preeti yeri fed up of airtel digi tvs call centre's procedure n their installation team.
                        They took 10 days time to just rectify the change of adress n now when that is done, the team has installed our antenna to the window grill without considering the wind pressure, they r only brothered about the signal.AIRTEL TV does not inspect the site prior, they just come see the angle n install it.with out considering anyother details.
                        They even do not have different means of tools, like different types of rods, clamps etc for installation, they use same 3 rods everywhere.
                        If the customer does not get permission on terrace they do not have any other means of tools so that it can be fitted somewhere on the wall by tilting n twisting the rod, so that proper signal can be adopted.By this they will loose their customer who ultimately say no to the tv n opt for the one which is avaible in the society.
                        My antenna is at risk of falling any time due to wind pressure, which they r not rectifying since more than 15 days saying no where else signal is avaible.Can they not bring different of rods with different angles so that we get signal.I will held airtel digi tv responsible if some accident occur for not considering wind pressure properly.

Firstly the connection was registered in the wrong name & address. Secondly the package was wrongly registed coz of which midnight 21/09/09 the telecast went off. I registered a complained on 22/09/09 & was commited by the customer care executive that the same would be resolved in 48 Hours. Even after 72 hours when the problem was not resolved I called up the Customer Care again & was requested to give another 24 hrs. It's almost been 9 days now and the problem has not been resolved till date.indly intervene in the matter & take necessary action at the earliest or else i would be forced to take some strangent steps against the organisation.

                        Nobody cares to respond. Its completely frustrating. They only have time to call other prospective customers day n night and not even bother to think of existing ones...
                        Absolutely useless company for digital tv. I have been calling them many times. every time I am told someone will contact me. No one calls me. On top of it they send me sms asking if I am satisfied with the service. even I type unsatisfied noone calls me. I have not seen a more useless incompetent and pathetic organization. Better close shop and do something else.

                        Airtel Digital Service Sucks Big Time -

                        I am an extremely disappointed and tortured with the customer support provided by Airtel Digital TV during relocation of the connection to my new address. It has not happened for almost 2 weeks.

                        I think I did biggest mistake by going with Airtel Digital TV and I recommend each and everyone who reads this forum to go with Doordarshan but not Airtel Digital TV. The most pathetic service anyone can imagine.

                        The customer care people can hardly communicate with their IQ close to ZERO.

                        Their processes for relocation are extremely impractical with tonnes of loop-holes for the engineers to play around and manipulate the system. It causes extreme inconvenience to customers.

                        I went to the extent of finding the Head for Service Delivery on LinkedIn and sending him a message for help... but...

                        In case, if anyone at Airtel Digital TV is hearing the voice of customers, the request #s I have lodged are 6522033 and 6358320 to be looked into.

                        Truly Airtel's HR Director Krish Shanker has his task cut out. Somebody called me a short while ago and tells me whenever there is inclement weather to call them and their engineer would come and do the needful! Either they dont believe me or they dont have a mechanism at their end which tells them that the transmission has stopped at our end.

                        Also their misleading mobile alerts about my balance status would continue to come. They can't stop it. Only way to stop these alerts is to maintain a balance of Rs. 60/- at all times.

                        This basically comes down to maintain alerts or we'll make your life hell with mobile alerts! How interesting.

                        last 5 days i am trying to add a top up (which suddenly stop working and i was told it will be free for 3 months), and all my efforts are in vain. it does not work via SMS, it does not work online. and if by grace of God, Customer care executive will pick your call ( after waiting for 10 minutes), then they say sorry our system is not working., please call after sometime.

                        it is really sucking, i am moving out of it.
                        Yesterday there was again signal problems but to may amazement that chap's phone was switched off...well not be much amazement though...yes, we too are bidding goodbye to M/s Airtel shortly...
                        Hi - I have airtel digital tv connection. I added a request with Airtel to add "Movies Now" channel to my package. The customer care mentioned that to add this channel, my dish antenna has to be realigned. They took a request and there was no response from airtel engineers thereafter. I then repeated calls for a period of 2 weeks and finally a engineer came and realigned the antenna. In the process, the engineer charged me saying that the tranponder is very old and needs to be replaced. Not sure how a transponder could go all of a sudden when I was able to see the channels without any difficulty. Anyways they fixed the new transponder, realigned the dish antenna and I was able to watch the "Movies Now" channel.

                        After few days, I started having another problem. Some of the channels such as Zee studio, Movies Now, PIX, MTV, V channel, Star Cricket were having broken signal quite often (The picture and sound was something similar to when u run a scratched DVD). I called the customer care and gave my compliant on April 15. There was no response from them. I then called them again on April 23rd, they recorded a fresh compliant and promised me that they will send someone the same day. I got no response. I called them again on 26th and this time I escalated the call to a supervisor and he promised to send someone by 6PM the same day. But again I got no response. I called the customer care again on May 12th and spoke to the supervisor again. Explained them the whole problem. They promised me the same nonsense again, but I still see no action being taken.

                        Basically I am paying Rs 330 odd to subsribe my fav channels and I am unable to view them since the reception is not clear. I have spent many hours talking to this airtel customercare and even if their engineers had spent 10% of that effort in fixing my problem, I would have had my problem fixed long back.

                        I was previously owning "Zee's DishtV" set. I was not happy with their service and that is the reason I switched to airtel. Honestly Airtel's digital TV service is even more pathetic. A horrible experience so far. The best part is once a compliant is lodged they dont even follow-up with the customer to check if the problem was resolved. Everytime it is me who calls them up and explains the problem. More irritating part is the customer care puts you on hold for a long time, in some cases the line gets disconnected and I have to start all over from the begining and wait for a long time in the queue.

                        I have airtel mobile connection and broadband connection. I should say I had decent experience with their service and that was the reason I chose to switch from "Zee's dishtv" to Airtel Digital TV. Sadly their service has detiorated so pathetically that I cant recommend airtel to anyone anymore. My brother has Tata sky and he seems to have a decent experience so far. If the current problem continues, I have made a decision to switch to Tata Sky. To hell with Airtel's service. If they happen to see this compliant, the customer id is [protected] and hoping that some action will be taken.
                        IT IS INDEED THE WORST I GUESS. I AM THINKING OF SHARING INFORMATION WITH THE ENTIRE FRATERNITY. THEIR BILLING MECHANISM IS JUST PERFECT. ONCE YOUR BALANCE GETS NEGATIVE THEY DONT EVEN CARE TO INTIMATE THE CUSTOMER BY A COURTESY CALL AND IMMEDIATELY DISCONNECT THE LINE AND THIS APPLIES TO AIRTEL MOBILE POST PAID CUSTOMERS OF MORE THAN 7 YEARS LIKE US. THEY DONT CARE TO FIND OUT BEFORE DISCONNECTING THAT THE CUSTOMER IS OUT OF STATION OR NOT FOR WHICH HE MAY HAVE FAILED TO RECHARGE.

                        YET WHEN IT COMES TO SERVICE, MANY CHANNELS TRANSMISSION QUALITY IS POOR. SUPPORT PICKS UP THE PHONE ON THE AVERAGE ON 25% OCCASIONS, THAT TOO AFTER AN AVERAGE WAIT PERIOD OF 5 MINUTES.

                        THOSE WHO ATTEND CALLS HAVE HEAVY NORTH INDIAN ACCENT AND NEITHER THEY UNDERSTAND CLEARLY WHAT THE CALLER SAYS NOR ARE ABLE TO SPEAK IN DECIPHERABLE ENGLISH.

                        Dish TV — Customer care sucks

                        Dish TV customer care is actually a customer harassing center.Their quality is very poor and all the executives are pathetic.
                        They don't know anything and I was surprised that one of their executive had never visited their company's website and I had to guide him about the problems in their website.
                        PLEASE AVOID AIRTEL DIGITAL. THEY ARE BIG TIME CHEATS. IF THERE IS LITTLE RAIN, SIGNAL GOES OFF. THEN THEY SAY THEY ARE GOING TO SEND THEIR "ENGINEER" AND THAT RS. 100/- EVERY TIME HE VISITS. THIS IS A BIG BUSINESS BY THEM TO MAKE RECURRING MONEY.

                        PLEASE DO NOT GO FOR AIRTEL DIGITAL IF YOU ARE INTERESTED TO WATCH YOUR IPL MATCHES REGULARLY.

                            AirTel Digital TV and AirTel Digital Interactive TV are not offering some of the medatory channels of DD Direct+. Like DD Gujarati, DD GyanDarshan-2, Vyas TV and FM Services Channels of All India Radio. I was planning to buy it, but dropped the idea after looking at Channel list and found that above mentioned channels are not there. I informed them many times, but they are not including these channels. Once they told me that could come in TopUps. Why should one pay for the free channels which is the part of DD Direct+?
                            I would say that whoever baught AirTel's these services are blind and they don't know the details about these services.

                                i had taken broadband connection from the trishul communication franchisee of airtel in salt lake city kolkata and they did not issue a receipt for the money taken as deposit.thereafter they provided an ineternet connection but the phone was not installed even after repeated requests to the local customer care centre and theie office.the receipt was also not given on the pretext that they were out of stock of receipt.i feel that this is a complete negligence on the part of the management to handle a basic necessity of a consumer.till date i have not received the receipt or the phone handset.

                                  My prepaid double Sim-Simoco-SM-1100 mobile phone was locked wef 01-12-09...
                                  IMIE no ([protected])of this phone was verified by your customer service & 53232 service providers...
                                  According to them there should be two IMIE numbers for double Sim mobile phone but you are very much aware that practically that is not possible & goverment has not issued such type of order...
                                  My double Sim-Simoco-SM-1100 mobile phone is complete indian made with all necessary details...
                                  Please do the needful...

                                    Airtel — not providing the detailed bill summary

                                    exorbitant billing is done, even after registering for e-billing & calling up airtel helpline numbers for getting the bill is just like finding a needle in a haystock.evey time i am getting a recorded reply via sms & over phone it will be done in another 72 hrs time. Even after waiting for that much of time it is not being done,again if we were to complain them they will start asking for the details from the begining which will be of no use.The same thing is happening for 4 connections.

                                      Hi,
                                      I am using the Airtel prepaid connection from past 5 years.
                                      On Saturday, 13/6/2009 one person called me up and said that, i[censored] want to continue with the same connection, , you need to submit some documents like Address Proof and ID Proof for verification purpose. He also mentioned that, he will send a Person near my home/office premises on Monday.
                                      But, nobody turned up. Even I tried to call the same number, it was not answerable and switched off sometimes.

                                      On Wednesday, 17/06/09 by 2 PM, I recieved an SMS Saying outgoing will be barred. I immediately called up the Airtel Customer care(121) and mentioned the same. He said that, you nee to submit the documents at any near by Airtel Relationship Centre immediately. As my office is in Whitefioled, bangalore and there is no near by Airtel centre, he told, will extend the time till Saturday or at least tomorrow morning. But, immediately after I disconnect the call with them, all my Incoming as well as Outgoing calls were barred. Even I m unable to call Cust care also.
                                      If the SMS Says outgoing will be barred then "Why Incoming is also barred". I had a meeting with US Client on the same day evening. I mailed them in the same day morning to conference me on the same number. But, all these made me not attend the meeting and many things happened in my office. And also the recorded voice message says " The Airtel Customer has barred the calls ", Is that right ? Did I do barring or did Airtel done it ?

                                      Finally, on Friday I had all these discussion with the Airtel Relation ship centre in Banashankari 3rd Stage, Bangalore centre and I Submitted all my supporting documents also. And, they told within 48 hours your connection will get activated. It happened Sturday, sunday, monday, tuesday, still not done.
                                      When called up Cust care from some other mobile they are saying Saturday and sunday are not working Days.

                                      Will they do Activate my connction ??? Again

                                      I walked down to Banashankari 3rd Stage Centre again on Wednesday. The centre itswelf was not open. I waited for long long time and just returned to my office. Next time, when I called Customer Care, they are saying "NOT RECEIVED THE DOCUMENT PROOF". which I submitted a week ago. Whats really going on, I don;'t know. I have to follow up you guys, whether you are doing work or not. But, no communication happening from your side, which is very worst
                                      finally, after a lot of follow ups with the Airtel people yesterday and reminding them by giving a lot of calls, my service was activated, which is worst than ever expected. I missed out a lot of SMS's and incoming calls which I was expecting, in the last 15 days, becoz o[censored]navailability of your service. Sending a courier/post in bangalore will take maximum of 1 day service. but, After i submitted the documents, i have to follow up on the same to re-send the doucments to reach to the Head Office. If, I didnot followed means, then still there was a delay in service...

                                        I had done the payment of my Airtel postpaid mobile [protected] on 17th June, 2009 via mobile number [protected]. Even after 5 days, I have still not received the NOC Settlement Letter from Airtel which I was promised on the day of the payment itself. This is sheer misbehaviour on the part of Airtel and I want a serious action to be taken against them.

                                        The Airtel contact person was calling from Chandigarh. His name is Praveen and his mobile number is: [protected]. Also the number that he used to call me was: [protected]

                                        These people call us and make our life miserable when they need the payment. But after we make the payment, they do not acknowledge and play fraud by calling again. I have no proff of payment until the NOC letter is e-mailed to me from airtel. These people should be put behind the bars.
