[Resolved] Apple IPod — Battery down

We have purchased Apple Ipod from USA. The sl.no. is YM524A33541. It is 4 GB ipod. The ipod battery has lost its life. When enquired at Chennai, Apple Ipod Service Centre, they were not willing to replace the battery even on chargeable basis. What is the way out to use this ipod. Where else can we get the battery. Apple IPod — Not able to work in itunes

I have recently purchases apple ipod classic & inorder to transfer music/video files to ipod through i tunes which is not working properly as well as very slow in processing.

i cant able to import songs to ipod through itunes.i dont know weather ipod is charging or not.
