I was sanctioned two Home Loans by Bank of Baroda as per following details:-
1) A/C no.[protected] for Rs 34,92000/- : sanctioned vide letter No. BOB/ADV/15428 dated 09/08/2008. A final disbursement of was made on 28/08/08 by Chief Manager of Manish Market, 4 Bunglow, Andheri(West) branch.
2) A/C no.[protected] for Rs 859,285/- : sanctioned vide letter No. BOB/ADV/15431 dated 30/08/2008. A final disbursement of was made on 05/12/08 by Chief Manager of Manish Market, 4 Bunglow, Andheri(West) branch.
As per para 12 of the loan sanction letters, the Bank under Baroda Home Loan Suraksha Bima Policy was supposed to arrange insurance of the Property & Personal Accident Insurance to Main Borrower at Bank’s cost upto the sanctioned loan amount.
Although the home loans were disbursed more than a year back, I have not received the said Insurance Policies from Bank till date. A number of verbal reminders to the Cheif Manager of concerned branch and a written reminder served in Jun 09 to draw his attention to the subject has yeilded no result till date. It is requested that matter may be taken up with appropriate authority and the Bank may be asked to honor the commitment made to a customer in Terms & Conditions of the Home Loan. Home Loan — Non Receipt of Insurance Policies
I applied for a home loan at GICHFL at kolkata office (Santinekatan Building)for takeover from BHW Home Finance 6 months back & for that I pledged 6/7 insurance policies as a collateral security, But the home loan somehow got cancelled & I do not want to avail, but GICHFL is not returning back my Insurance policies . I need my insurance policies returned back at my residential address (149 / D, Garfa Main Road, kol 75) within next 3 days failing which I have to approach to consumer forum.This is NOT ACCEPTABLE at all & the Co should not retain / hold back any customer documents for which the co has got NO INTEREST.
