My name is Tumul Taran and I have purchased Hush Puppies Shoes in November 2012 from the Bata operated showroom at 4-D, Connaught Place, New Delhi.
After purchasing a shoe for a high price of 2700-/- (pictures attached) It is really disheartening that the shoe has shown such a complaint that too i've worn it only few times and not even daily. it's upper pasting has gone off and the right feet shoe has lost its sole already. And what's more disheartening is that when i went to the above showroom to lodge a complaint about the same, the sales guys and the manager told me that they cannot address to my complaint since I don't have the receipt.
I am very very disappointed with whatever is happening in the quality check department in Bata India despite the fact that Bata claim policy says that "Bata products are manufactured with the utmost care and stringent quality control is always maintained". This is really not done.
I have left the shoe with the showroom despite of their dis-agreement and the receipt of the same is attached herewith. I can't understand why these people are behaving like that senselessly when the fault comes under major manufacturing defect which is unquestionable...the sole of the shoe has gone off in 5 months. Sometimes i doubt whether Bata sell original Hush Puppies or pirated ones.
I had been purchasing Bata shoes even from my school days and had always liked the brand. But now surprisingly I am forced to hate it specially because of the quality of Hush Puppies I purchased. As far as the receipt is concerned, I paid for that through my credit card and i can show my credit card statement with DETAILING of the store if that is needed to verify my purchase.
Now I would like to know from BATA how they are going to treat my complaint? The way they are to respond to my complaint would reflect their faith on the Quality system and Customer satisfaction. And the best thing that the email ID for complain is not working.

On 10th July 2012, I had made a complain regarding my Hush Puppies shoes to your company at India.
This is just a note to let you know how pleased I was with the service I received. I got my shoes exchanged with new Shoes. Your customer care staffs were very helpful.
In this day and age good customer service is often difficult to find, and I feel it is important that it be recognized.
