Dear Sir,
This has refer to the purchase I made on 30/08/2009 of Hush puppies.
To my surprise the entire upper leather as well as the sole has got peeled off, of just one foot, the other pair is very much intact.
To my understanding, It clearly seems to be a manufacturing defect.
When I took the same to the show room they mentioned that they can’t take it back.
I am a regular(Almost for 4 years) buyer/user of hush puppies(I bought one yesterday too from the same showroom) I have never faced any problem ever before.
Request your assistance in resolving the same at the earliest

I purchased the BATA black colour formal shoes Article number : 85169838 Quantity 1 and net MRP. 1499 /- on 21-Oct-12 from BATA SHOE STORE 4-7-201,GURUDWARA ROAD, HYDERABAD, and it is really disappointing to inform you that on 30-oct-2012 the right shoe sole worn out. I complained to the store manager but he refused to change it and said that he will repair rather to change. He said that you can ask BATA service if they agree he will change it. This is very unfair as after wearing it 6 official days I have to repair the shoes.

I have purchased a footwear from Bata on 07th April 2013. It got a big crack in the sole and as per warranty of 60 days it should be replaced 100%. When I mailed to Bata consumer service First they said purchase is made 6 months back where as I have provided them with my debit card account statement showing date of purchase. Later they agreed to 75% replacement which should be 100%.
Kindly do the needful.

I took the same to the bata showroom on 5th January 2008. This is less than 2 months after I buy the product.
The person at bata refused to replace the same, eventhough there is a 3 months warranty on the product. Although he was ready to repair the same, which I didn’t accept.
My question to you
1. Why should I accept a defective piece from Bata.
2. Why should I accept a repair if the piece is defective from Bata. A manufacturing defect.
3. After paying the full cost of the product, why should I wear a repaired stuff.
In lieu of the same, I demand a refund towards the cost of the same.
Please note that I shall have to go to the consumer court, if this does not get resolved.
