[Resolved]  Dining Plus Card — Cheated by Diningplus Card Company in Chennai (India)

Hi I'm Syed from Chennai.
I'm working in an Educationa Institute as a trainer, In july month one of the Dining Plus executive Mr. Manikandan.K has visited in our office, He told so many option which is available in this card, then he changed our mind by showing some few vouchers with different values, and he told that these vouchers will be send to you every month to you address for 2 years. and he told that you can use this card vwen ever you want to buy something or you want to eat some thing as per in that given location, but wen iwent to have lunch in Virudhu Nagar Restaurant, Anna Nagar Branch with our collugeas, the manager told that, This card will be accepted only in the T.Nagar branch. Then i called to Help Line of Dining Plus, wen i'm asking abt tis, the person is giving a good answer, i.e., I'm not sure abt this sir, better i'll ask and tell you. we are 5 members has got this card, and we paid 12500/- to dining plus. Every person are from Middle class person only, so Pls. requesting you kindly Pay back the money which we paid ti Dinig Plus. Now also we are paying the Due Amount of that card to others. Kindly requesting you to take a severe action against this Concern.

The Dining Plus is a BIG CHEATED Company they not providing salary for employees., simply they are making peoples to work there & as soon as work got over instead of giving salary send them to there house & giving lot of torcher also & During holidays also they makes us to work but for that they are not paying extra amount., , , simply they gave hopes .,
But Girls are joining to that company, bcoz girls are having so many problems & Committments

but they are not understanding anything. Not paying proper salary for Employees.,

The Main thing is that Manager is the main responsible for not giving salaries to the employess.

Even I also suffered a lot not taking the salary., This is My Personal Bad Experiance., So
Girls be aware of joining DINING PLUS.,

THIS IS MY HEARTLY REQUEST.

dear all friends.,

i was worked in DINING PLUS company., they are big cheated company in the world., recently i joined to that company, i worked only one month., one day i taken leave for my grandmother cremition., but in tension i couldn't informed for that they sent me to home & they didn't provide the salary also., for so many girls they doing like this only., simply taking girls to work there & giving hopes to earn more money., after that not providing salary for girls.,

pls girls don't join to that cheated company., they will not giving salary for working.,

this is my personal experiance.,

Dining Plus Discount Card is very useful to me, as i have already saved the money what i paid for membership. I have got good discount while dining, especially the vouchers which are posted in the website.

My wife got huge discount while shopping for wedding sarees and jewels for her sister in Bangalore. This card is great for paying just as little as Rs. 100/- a month..

I have also recommended to all my friends to buy Dining Plus Card

I strongly feel ABN Amro Bank cheated me of my money, promising that the Dining Plus card issued by them will be accepted at so many places. Unfortunately it is a dud card, of absolutely no use.
I would advise all persons receiving calls from ABN Amro offering this card, to clearly tell them that there are actually defrauding the public.

i bought this card through stanchart bank. i agree the details given in the handbook provided is erroneous & lands you in embarassing situations. some time back i dined in a resturant supposed provde 10% discount. but when i showed the card at time of billing i was told discount will be given only if bill per person was at least rs. 1500. since our bill for four was around 4500 they could not give any discount. when i insisted no such restriction was mentioned in the hand book, they reluctantly gave the discount after lot of internal discussions. today when i got diagnostic test done in appollo clinic at malleshwaram, i was told discount is applicable only for health check packages though the hand book says discount is applicable to diagnastic services also in this clinic. also every time you produce the card the front end staff feign ignorance of the discounts & a senior manager is to be brought into picture which frankly is pretty embarassing. the number of establishments for apparels, medicines & hospitals is miniscule even as per their own list. i consider this is a card which should be avoided. ---g.n.iyengar

I have also the similar experience yesterday i.e. 07.04.2010. I visited Coconut Groove - a restaurant in PUNE which is enlisted in the directory provided by Standard Chartered Bank for entitlement of discount. When I showed the dining plus card. They simply refused to give the discount. I insisted on writing the same on the bill itself thay they are refusing to give discount. To my surprise, they wrote the same. This was not only my insult in presence of my family and friends whom I had taken for dinner, but also a BIG SLAP on Bank's credibility also. I tried to give complaint on helpline phone of Standard Chartered Bank - credit card divn. and they refused to take the complaint. It looks to be a new cheating way to customers and surprisingly by a reputed bank like SCB. My conversation was recorded and the lady confirmed having recorded the conversation. Let me see, if any action is taken against the restaurant (and not just the regret letter but should compensate double the amount of my bill as complimantary food plus the regret letter from SCB.

Let me see, whether SCB extends the response like what CITIBANK extends. I have a very good experience with CITIBANK credit cards.

but the restaurants mentioned by you is not there in the list!!! why unnecessary complaint????

people are actually complaining about the bad service experienced at restaurant OR the bank which has issued the card. Why blaming Dining Plus company?

I have placed a complaint against dining plus card on 04 May 2010 vide my reference number 260079/Gen/Sectt dt 04 May 2010. But till date they have any repply to my complaint. At least not yet give a responce to my letter. This card is no use for defence persons.

my dining.plus card no is33 33291.due to u r aggressive telemarketing i have become u r member. now i want 2 discontinue.as i do not want to be a member of a fraudulent establishment like yours. i want to stop my further EMI`S.it is sad that a bank like SCB is a party to this day light robbery. kindly guide me and show how to get out from this agony .

I have taken dinning plus card from bangalore. I went to many restaurants which are mentioned in the dinning plus brochure but they all say we dont accept this card. And another thing is that they told me they will give me the gift (Reebok sunglass or bag) but when i received the card they told me that offer is not available for your card after paying this i felt very bad.
one more thing is that they told me that i can give this travel to any of my friend as a gift. This is what they told me while buying it. But they are telling now its not possible.

So be careful... Dont join and dont waste your money...

this is a cheating company.I got call from company friquanty and always refuge for this card.one day i got a call and the person say that he is talking on behalf of my credit card bank and you get this card free and ask me to enter the details of my credit card for verification surprisingly i got one watch and some gift coupens with this card from courier.But when i got my credit card statement it is debited 5500/- for this card ????? .We must Highlight this kind of companies who is cheating people

sorry to say u that i purches DINING PLUS card from you but till today i not RECEIVED the card. With this i buy one adisnal card also. ATt the time of selling the your excutive say lot of thing about benifit. I paid through cr.card on dated 09.11.10.in min time i got 2 to 3 times call from you company, they say me we are calling after 10 min.but they never call me.What i think about your company.
please give me reply as soon as possible.

First of all its not a membership but a Discount Card. And not to mention it is over priced without the vouchers as you have to spend at least Rs. 2500/- every month to save Rs. 4500/- annually (Average discount @ 15%) to avoid any loss. And to save a reasonable amount, your expenses with the registered merchants of Dining Plus should be more than Rs. 5000/- per month. My suggestion to Dining Plus is to sell the card only (without the vouchers) @ Rs. 1000/- so that everyone can afford it and save money as well during the process instead of putting a lot of pressure on the staff to sell the same at a higher price while including the vouchers which may not be useful to everyone. -SS

dear sir, Lastyear in the month of April I received a phone call somebody toled me they are DININGPLUS they are offering free gifts to SBI CARD holders, if they agree to pay Rs 2, 500.The same amount was taken from my SBI CARD and the diningplus card is not issued.Samething was informed to Bank officials, but nobody is responding.Kindly do something to stop this type of LOOTY M.R.RAO
