Had another bad experience with so called best lab -- Dr Lal Path Labs
Firstly, what's gone is gone ... I did a BIG mistake giving blood
samples of my wife and sister for testing at Dr. Lal's Path Lab. The
reason is not one, but a series of events as follows:
1.Your executive didn't bother to come in time to collect the blood
samples. Had to make two calls at your customer care after one hour of
long wait -- read: FASTING for patients --- LEAST BOTHERED to BIGG RICH
Lab guys like Dr Lal Path lab
2. He did not carry instruments which could be labelled as sterile and
aseptic ... he used the same needle carrier for both the patients..I
was not there, busy with my own opd, else would not have allowed SUCH
NON SENSE ATTITUDE... never seen with small labs like Star Path Labs.-
- would rate them FAR BETTER THAN Dr LAL PATH LAB.
3. He didnt mention about delay in report would occur. I'd call this a
CHEATING / FRAUD .. cos was in dire need to get the reports same day --
AGAIN, seeing your behaviour, now i realise YOU ARE NOT INTERESTED
WHETHER A PATIENT LIVES or DIE.
4. Your customer care executives simply said No reports will be given
today, 14 Oct'2010 because its a NATIONAL holiday ---PLEASE hire some
qualified for this job.
5. After actually begging for the reports to your Team Leader, some
Miss, she promise to mail them at my email id within ten min... BUT
LIKE BEFORE -- That much Courtesy was also TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR from so
called BIGG Dr Lal Path Lab..., cos the mail never flashed in my inbox.
6. To top the situation, you guys literally shut down your customer
care at 2000 hrs yesterday, though the recorded message was repeating
the same idiotism -- its open from 7 am to 11 pm on weekdays -- TOO
DIFFICULT TO FOLLOW OWN STANDARDS -- I understand now... very much.
7. Last but not the least, the reports were not available till 12 noon
on your site today 15 Oct'2010... This proved the aforesaid points --
DR LAL PATH LAB IS ONLY FOR MONEY, NOT FOR PATIENTS.
Being a Dental practitioner myself for last seven years, I think these
many small bad to worst experiences were enough for me to register a
feedback at your site, that too over two small routine blood tests.
Hence, if the so called such a big company really wants to rectify this
BLUNDER, I think am very much entitled for the Refund for the two tests
which made me write this much. Also, leave this refund part aside, am
actually looking forward to talk/meet your company heads for this and
would surely gonna make sure NOT to RECOMMEND your lab to all my
patients, and would post this whole draft at all possible related
websites and forums.

My name is NADEEM GUL DAR, working in Riyadh saudi arab. I send my dad to SRINAGAR LPL centre for fasting blood sugar on sunday.I send my dad only bcoz the lab is CAP and NABL accredited.They took the sample on Sunday morning and till Monday 11 o'clock sample was not processed. I am a microbiologist and knows that blood sugar we can store only for 12 hours with additive of Sodium Floride which will prevent reducing of blood sugar for 12 hours by inhibiting enolase enzyme of glycolysis cascade. When i call to get my dad's report they r admitting that they did not process the sample from suday morning till monday 11 o'clock and they r accepting that sodium floride can prevent the reduction of sugar for 12 hours but what about the rest 12 hours the r answering me why the gave sample on sunday. My dad dont know they r not processing the samples on sunday but they were knowing and still they took sample. This kind of work is going on in LAL PATH LAB SRINAGAR KASHMIR INDIA.
I was under misconception that Dr. Lal Path Labs in India are one of the best centers to diagnose the problems by doing tests. But the incident that happened with me forced us to loose faith in Lal Path Labs and surely in future will not recommend any one to visit such labs.
My sister was having cyst in her ovary with kidney infection and also suffering from Urine Infection. There were many test conducted, one of which was ECG and Urine Report which was very important for PAC test as without it operation date cannot be finalized .
I referred the Lal Path Lab collection center near AIIMS Green Park . The over all cost beard by us was Rs. 6000 something. we gave the sample and every time Urine Routine shows lots of RBC & WBC but culture report always shows " NO BACTERIA GROWTH". reports were surprising as there were things which were contradictory and even we were asked us to repeat the test by doctors.
also apart from this when we went to collect all the reports, ECG reports were not given to us which we came to know when we visited the doctor and immediately after that we called the labs, they were not ready to except their mistake and told us to collect reports from lab.
Seriously it is very disgusting that apart from charging very high from customers they are providing such fake reports.This is a disaster and can create a major problem to patients. In our case, treatment was delayed so much that could also have led to loss of life but since doctors were good so treatment was started on time as they have seen such kind of misleading reports earlier too.
I want to file complaints against Lal Path labs but don’t know the procedure to escalate it to high authorities of Lal Path Labs and consumer courts as they when i asked them they gave me Number:[protected] which no 1 was attending.
Request you to please help me on this as this has happened to me, can happen to any 1 in future so some action must be taken against them so that in future we can stop it.

But I had an extreme opposite experience today. Today we have visited Dr. Lal
Path Labs, Sec 16 Faridabad for my wife's blood test. This is a big shock for
me when i have seen the way technician was trying to take the blood sample. I
have never ever seen this painful and unprofessional method. Dr. Lal Path Lab'
technician has tighten my wife's arm with the tube and start searching the vein
he could not find still he has inserted the needle. While there was no blood
collected he has taken out the needle and inserted again without finding
correct position of vein. He has repeated the same thing third time. It was
extremely pain full for my wife. She just cried like anything. Then he called some other technician he took
the blood sample from other arm. These 5 minutes were very painful for my wife
and still she is suffering with the pain and swelling. I have raised the complaint to the team
present on the counter and asked them to call the senior they advised me to
fill the feedback form and drop in the box. It was the clear cut sign for me
that they don’t want to address my complaint. Then I called on the number[protected]
to register the complaint. After two
hours I got a call from Dr. Lal Path Lab Delhi office. That person was saying
to me that they will re train that technician. So my question is that are we paying to Dr. Lal path Labs for
conducting experiments on us by untrained staffs? I refer to all who so ever read my incident
please think before going to Dr. Lal Path Labs.

Just few days earlier I send my dad to Lal Path for fasting blood sugar on Sunday. I sent him there only because the lab is government accredited. They took the sample on Sunday morning and the report was there in my hand by Sunday evening. I’m really thankful to them for a fast processing as blood sugar can be stored only for 12 hours with additive of Sodium Floride. Hence I got what I was expecting. Really great Job!! Hats off to you!!

...we are a doctor couple...I am a pediatrician and sending my patients to lal lab frm 2009...I am extremely frustated by their performance in our case...my wife is a pathologist and ex lal lab employee!!!...we opted for down syndrone screening from lal lab at 16 th week of my wife's pregnancy...
They reported the screen positive with 1:92 risk...we are
traumatized...and checked with our friend gynaecologists...they suggested that Lal lab is fraud and check out with other lab...we did anomaly scan and repeat quadscors from another lab...everything is normal...down syndrome is reported to be at risk of 1:1412... I want my money back and explanation from lal lab fod their callous reporting...

My name is Michael and I have given a test (Organic acids Quantitative, Random urine full panel GC-MS) for my Son. Once the test results were published in web, I was surprised to see the details about compounds, values, reference range and elevation factors are empty in it. I have posted the concern in their enquiry page of the website. Kindly advise, how I can get the report with the required details. I was recommended to this Lab by the neurologist believing that this Lab would give correct study. I am very much concerned about their test and results. My name is Dr Sunil Arya.The blood sample of my wife was collected on[protected] at 7.30 am for ANA by afa method.I was told that the report may be given by same day evening or next day.On[protected] upon inquiry I was confirmed that the sample started getting tested on[protected].I was shocked that the sample was being tested after more than 24 hours.I doubt the authenticity of test and its report
Totally hopeless.I feel being cheated of Rs 2000/I don't trust the report .My money should be refunded.

I went to the lalpathlabs Karan Nagar srinagar Kashmir to review a block for biopsy, at first they sent the block without the patient history which lead to incomplete histopathology testing at head office and I had to pay Rs 800 for the test which was not done due to lack of patient history, and received the block back.
Second time I myself gave all the history of patient and provided the block to them for histopathology. I downloaded the test report from online portal and staff members hardly bothered to call me to receive the test.
After two days I went there to collect the block, it will come after few days they replied.
After which I called very often to them for block as I was in dire need of the block to get reviewed by other labs for cross check and every time they used to say block has not arrived yet.
And after one month I personally visited the lab there what happened the block was received by lab officials on 22nd December 2017 and on 19 jan they gave me the block only after I visited the lab.
This is the height of negligence.

M writing this to the head of Lal labs lmtd...i wud rate this lal path lab more than worse...I wont ask patients to go to this lab as they provide fake results..they always shows " no growth" in urine culture reports..people of this lab looting and making othrs fool..costing for the investigations and dont revert while patient enquires about reports..yestrday only they took sample for "PCR" quantitative test and as per the standards it takes 3 days to reveal the results but what this lab did..it provided the result in less than 24 hrs..false reports and moreover they are asking for more time to talk about this..playing with patients life is not in medical ethics..
Extremely unprofessional. Phlebotomist was untrained. Registration form wasn't available so the phlebotomist made me write my details in a tiny sheet of paper. The icing on the cake was, I never got the report. No queries are being answered by anyone and refund is out of question. There are better laboratory services. Avoid this one if you can.
Got my test done for which report was supposed to come the next day, it’s been 3 days and Dr. Lalpathlabs ivr keeps repeating its in process.. no human to talk to who can responsibility update the status, neither it’s showing in their app.. pathetic service
