Hi,
I have one Credit Card of HDFC Bank. I accept that Initially I was irregular with the payments, but that was due to my family & financial problems. But I approached the credit card devision for the settlement of the dues. One of the collection agents named Sanya (Phone No: [protected]), agreed with INR 20000 in 5 installments. This was in starting of June'08.
On 30th June'08 my mother got heart attack & was admitted in ICCU for two days. I received the call from Sanya for the payments & I told the situation. She said to submit INR 1900 for the part payment & rest would be paid in the month of July'08. I did it.
On 1st July'08, when I went to ATM to draw money, I found my whole salary is made "hold of funds" by HDFC Bank. I contacted customer care & they replied (they are not trained to handle the situation & give the right answer) that it has been done by credit card devision & they can't do anything. I called to credit card devision & I was gives assurrance to get call back in 48 hours.
Next day, I called to Sanya & explained all but she replied that since she on half day leave she can't do anything before Monday.
I waited till monday, by the time my landlord has visited for more than 3 times asking for the rent. On monday, I again contacted Sanya, someone named Mr. Abhishek (Phone no: [protected]) picked up the phone, said Sanya is on leave, I told all the story & he assured me to help. He told me for the settlement in two shots after deducting INR 8000, for which I have to give debit note, I requested to send somebody to collect the debit note. On tuesday, I handed the debit note of INR 8000, to Mr. Devinder Sharma (Phone No:[protected]).
Since then, I am calling to every person to release my rest of the funds, so that I can pay the rent & buy groceries for my family. Mr Abhishek is not receiving phone, every time I call him someone else will pick up the phone saying, since he is senior manager as I was told, is busy or driving or gone for lunch or any other reason. Sanya, after many attempts received my call, only to say it is in process & your money will be released. I am listening to this answer since tuesday.
Today is Saturday, 09/08/08, I am still fighting for releasing amount. Sanya threaten me for not calling again & again else my whole salary amount will be deducted. Only this has made me to escalate the issue with the concerned authority for appropriate action. But I was unable to get the email id's except of [protected]@hdfcbank.com & customerservices.[protected]@hdfcbank.com.

Please help me, I am pennyless on todays's date.

HDFC Bank Credit Card — Please release my salary

Hi,

I have one Credit Card of HDFC Bank. I accept that Initially I was irregular with the payments, but that was due to my family & financial problems. I agree that i had used the credit card of the hdfc bank but at this movement I am pregenant and recovery people are harrashing me like anything please help me with that i informed those guys that i'll surely pay that but give me some time my no is [protected]
My name is Santosh Haldankar.

I have taken HDFC credit card 4 months ago in Jan-09. I make payments for first 2 months. After that I send letter in March-09 to them for settlement. At that time their representative told me that your account will settle soon. But even after my settlement letter, they had regularly sent me bill and putting 2, 000/- extra dues as a penalty. Now on 7-Apr-09, they have freezed my HDFC Savings account. My balance in my Savings account was 11000/-. Today on 9-Apr-09, they had transfer my 11000/- to their HDFC credit card account for recovery of my credit card bill.

When I send the settlement letter, my dues was 14000/-. and at that time they had already hold my credit card and I have not purachse anything after that. Today on 9-Apr-09, their representative told me that my todays outstanding is 22000/-. So 8, 000/- they have increse. Even after transfering the money, they have not yet settle my credit card account and told me to call in next month.

Please help me in this matter, as I have no clue what to do?

    HDFC Bank Credit Card dept. Harrasing me, use slang language & threatened me also...

    I have a Salary Account with HDFC Bank Ltd since 2005. I have been transacting for last 3years, suddenly one morning (24th May 2008) my Account has been freezed and all my funds in the account has been kept on hold (Rs. 26, 775/-), I do not have any intimation form the bank nor the executive in the Branch is able to help me to get the information, why are these people troubling the Individuals, none of them were bothered to revert back my call.

    Then i called up customer care they said HDFC is hold your balance amount becasue of credit card which is due since 2004. They said i have a HDFC card & i not clear my payment since 2004 so that's why they Hold & transfer the amount. I agian called up customer care i said if i am not pay since 2004 why r u calling me & i request to them please provide me the statements of my card and show the balance payment they never showing.

    Now the problem was i have another Gold Card & I stopped the due payment then I received calls from credit card dept. for payment. I talk to the dept. guy and said all the senario (I told pls provide me the details for my old card then i give you the payment for Gold Card).

    Then they never called me till 06th August 2008. today 07th Aug 2008 I received a call from Mr. Pooja from Rajouri Garden Branch Telephone No is[protected], Mob No. [protected] she said i dont what ever the bank is doing i need payment for Gold Card, I request her to show me the details of my old card & then i give you the payment.

    She is extremely rude and abusive talking even she called me my office number & she threatened me like a police and she again called my office as my phone was busy and she tortured the Guard & Reception people. I would like you to take severe action against her.

    So many times i request madam please provide me the old card details she said she is not responsible for the details, speek to customer care. but i called up (CC) they said they also have not any details. So its mean HDFC is authorize to deduct any amount which is balance my savings account.,

    What can i do? Please reply. Should i register FIR?

    Kindly help me I have great hopes from you.

    HDFC Credit Card — SLANG WORD USAGE BY EXECUTIVE

    I AM WORKING AS "AREA MANAGER" FOR BAJAJ AUTO'S TWO WHEELER DIVISION IN WEST BENGAL. I HAVE TAKEN OR MAY BE MORE ACCURATE IMPOSED UPON WITH A HDFC GOLD CREDIT CARD. SINCE THEN I HAVE BEEN USING THE CARD FOR VARIOUS PURPOSES AND HAVE ALWAYS PAID A HANDSOME AMOUNT TO HDFC CARD AS MONTHLY PAYMENT, AMOUNT SOMETIMES AS BIG AS Rs. 19526/-. BUT RECENTLY THIS MONTH DUE TO SOME PERSONAL PROBLEMS, MY 2 CHEQUES ISSUED TO HDFC GOT BOUNCED AS I HAVE TO WITHDRAW THE CASH FROM MY BANK FOR MY MOTHER'S TREATMENT. I HAVE REQUESTED ATLEAST 15 TIMES TO THE LADY EXECUTIVE (DON'T KNOW HER NAME) WITH THE NUMBER-(0)[protected], TO PLS GIVE ME TIME TILL 02/01/2009. I ALSO TOLD HER THAT I AM READY TO PAY WITH FINE. NOT ONLY THIS BUT ALSO I REQUESTED HER NOT TO SEND PERSONELL TO MY HOME, AS MY MOTHER IS HEART PATIENT AND ALREADY BEEN OPERATED TWICE.ANY TYPE OF TENSION MAY PROVE TO BE FATAL FOR HER. BUT SHE HEARD NOTHING OF MY REQUEST & SENT PERSONELL TO MY HOME ON 27/12/2008. ALSO SHE ABUSED MY MOTHER & ME OVER PHONE AND THREATENED US TO PUT BEHIND BARS. WHAT DOES SHE THINK OF HERSELF-DO I WORK IN 3000/- SALARY POSITION IN A MINUTE COMPANY????? DUE TO HER ONLY MY MOTHER'S BLOOD PRESSURE GOT HIGH AND NOW SHE IS LYING IN BED.     dear sir,
    since last several months i am recieving threatning calls from HDFC Bank from some delhi branch..the number from i am recieving threatning calls is ( [protected] ).some mr sabarwal is threatning me with using slang language and everytime reminding me about bad future consequences which i would suffer.. they are mentaly tourturing me and i am in a big mental trauma.. they are forcing me to tell the details of a person who was once living the house where i am living now in rent and he is totally unknown to me..few times they have also sent guys to my rent house to threaten me and again they enquire me about the details of a person so called Ashok giri...last time dated 23rd jan'08 they again called me up and was telling that they will expose my call details and they can prove that i have in touch with that person...please help me out from this situation..and please suggest what step i can take to get out of this situation. should i resister FIR..??please help me..

    They just refer to the Cardholders agreement for doing this non-sense. Don't you rememmber that one booklet you receieved when they forced the card on you. HDFC collection teams make genuine cutomers defaulters.

      Dear Sir,

      This is to inform you that my credit card whose no. is: [protected] has been misused on 28/07/2008 as told by your Risk Department person (Mr.Alok). I have already asked HDFC to block my card and issue me a new card ASAP. Three unauthorized transactions were made on my credit card. Till date I have not received a new card and when called the Customer care they inform me that my card is over limit now.

      I request you to please help me in finding the culprit as I have never ever in my life done online transactions.

      Kindly take an action at the earliest as I would not be interested in paying for the expenses I am not responsible.

      My credit card account no. [protected] valid from May 2008. yet to receive the first statement from your side. Without this. Iam unable to know the amount. I will not pay if you people charge any additional amount. its your people's duty to send the statement early to the corresspondence addresss.

      HDFC has a very bad customer support service. I never received my card. I had to call them and cancel it and they charged me for that as well. I'd advice against getting a HDFC credit card.

        My Car bearing no. WB38L 5005 covered under HDFC insurance vide Policy no. VP[protected] met with an accident on 26.05.2008 on the NH31 under Bidhannagar IPS. The information was given to Mr. Seshadri, Claims Officer on 27.05.08. Claim no. 240211 dated 30.05.08. Inspection by HDFC appointed surveyor on 30.05.08. Till then getting no response from them I contacted [protected]@HDFCERGO.com on 08.07.08. After then they appointed their company surveyor and mailed me one vague asessment to start the repairing process and after making payment by me they will settle the reimbursement. After much persuation they confirmed me certain repairing scope on 24.07.08 which do not cover all the visual accidental damages.

        Dear Sir,

        i) On dated 24/07/08 you have communicated to me for the 1st. time about your assessment of repairs and in reply I informed you on 26/07/08 about deletion of certain visual damages. But surprisingly neither you agree nor you disagree with my findings and only you have been insisting me to ask the repairer to go ahead with the repairing without any settlement i.e., you are trying to cut short / limit the visual accidental damages.
        ii) I did request you long ago to repair my car at any OEM authorized workshop of your choice but you did not pay attention towards he same and on the contrary you are trying to defame the repairer by remarking "a dealer having a monopoly and demanding unusual charges", "the repair estimate submitted by the repairer is very much exaggerated and without basis" etc.
        iii) I did request you only to depute any independent surveyor to assess the visually acceptable accidental damages in front of me and so I visited the workshop with prior intimation to you on 4th & 5th Aug'08 to interact with your deputed person, as you did not bother to intimate me that you would not send anybody on those dates.
        iv) Insurance act says that independent Surveyor will check and assess the scope of repairs and replacement of parts necessary against the accidental damages. But violating the same you deputed your company surveyor/assessor and communicated me the assessment made by him. Now I am to conclude that your person intentionally overlooked many visual damages.
        v) My intention was to start the repair process after acceptable settlement of the accidental damages which are clear before eyes. Of course the hidden damages which can be identified after dismantling during the repair process, can be finalized after time to time inspections and acceptance of accidental damages.
        vi) I did mention several times since the claim regarding avoidable damages due to daily heat, rain, dust & other pollutions which can be minimized if you act properly and timely with due consideration of your company's motto of Customer's satisfaction.
        vii) As my vehicle has been deformed from original shape that has affected the vehicle's structural integrity due to the accident, which reveals from all around visual inspection, the repair / restoration to the originality will certainly claim more labour charges than your assessor is reflecting if OEM guidelines are followed, which can be had from any Maruti-Suzuki authorized repairer after showing them in details.
        viii) From the place of accident the vehicle was towed to the nearest Maruti-Suzuki authorized repairer's shop. I am yet to get the reimbursement of towing charges, which I didn't claim till date, as I was being told from all concerned that the reimbursement bill will be processed after finalization of the claim.

        motor policy — Claim not transfred

        Dear Jatinder kapoor,

        It feels very bad to write this mail as i am fed up of your companies customers satisfaction .

        I, Karambir singh, Vechile no HR-62 1999, Claim no.[protected] has not been settele yet, whose date of accident was 11-07-08 .
        I have compained about this matter four times, whose complaint no. are 456114 dated 27-10-08, 29328 dated 14-11-08, Dealing person was Miss Sana,[protected] dealing person Pawan kumar, and the fourth complain was on date 4-12-08 ... None of the executives on this complains were attending me and made me wait for 20 minutes everytime i used to call them, they never reverted me back..I talked to the customer support person Mr. Jai on 4-12-08 and he said he will revert me back after 3 days and yet nothing has been setted till date.I am seriously fed up of this now .

        Everytime they says that the claim is after the policy has been transfred and they asked to get the policy checked at hissar office, and i did that also and i have full proof documents about that policy was transfered before the claim.

        This is my final intimation to you and, if you are not going to take action and revert me back with in 2 days, then i am going to take serious action and that will be very harsh . I dont want to take this matter in court /omberdsmen/IRDA .

        i have applied for renewal my car insurance on 01/06/2009 and for that reason i paid rs 7899.00 rupees .and i got a confirmation letter that the amount i have sent is insufficent so my car inssurance have dated till 11/112009 .and i got a confirmation letter on 04/04/2009 asked me to pay 2293 for the compelete issurance . so i paid 2293 to get full inssurance but i didnt get any confirmation letter and my inssurance also didnt get updated . this is my policy number VP[protected]

        i had a 4 wheeler. the vehicle was transferred in my name, however the insurance could not be transfreed, it was still in the name of previous owner in this case my father.
        the vehicle met with an accident . the claim was rejected by hdfc general insurance

        HDFC ERGO — delay and non receipt of claim

        sir,
        i am one of your customer holding credit card no [protected], i had purchased one mediclaim policy from you on insistance from your employee, on 27/5/2010 i had met with an accident for which i was hospitalised and the claim papers along with relevant documents was been submitted to HDFC AGRO lower parel office on 25/06/2010. I had followed up repeatedly with hdfcagro hyderabad and hdfc customer care mumbai. . My cliam no is 9519/1, I had requested to both the authoritiies to give me clarification for the delay of my claim but no body has given the reply, My claim amount is not more than 23500/00 plus daily charges of rs. 1000/- per day. Itill date an amount of rs. 6417/- is still balance and i am not knowing the reason of deduction.
        Sir, if we make our payment after due date or paid minimum amount you will charge delay payment charges and interest for the balance amount,.
        lastly, i would like to inform you that i will not make any payment balance in my credit card account and no INTEREST AND DELAY PAYMENT CHARGES will also be made until you or your alias hdfcagro settles my account with clear reason acceptable to me and other penals for the deduction in writing . which may be kindly noted. For reason of non payment if you will take any legal action against me than i shall receprociate the same at your cost and consequences and the charges borne by you will not be paid by me.

        hdgc ergo car insurance is a sham they fool you with big talk but are third rate in delevery their surveyers are Currupt to the core demand money to pass your claim

        Same Problem/.

        Duster Met with an accident. On claim, the HDFC ergo decided to make up their own stories and approve only a particular part of the claims.
        According to them they are Gods and are always present everywhere to foresee the way the accidents happen. I am appalled at what book they read to know the 101 reasons of how and what way an accident can happen.
        I claimed my left side and windshield.
        First they said both cannot be damaged together
        Then they approved a second claim on the windshield.
        Then on pick up i was informed that only part of damaged side will be covered since it appears part is old damage.

        Unbelievable story making capacity. They speak with so much of adamancy that one is left with no reply. Its your lie against my lie kind of a situation. If we start attending these schools, maybe all o[censored]s will immediately get our claims.

        HDFC itself is pathetic. Reasons private banks are totally worthless. They dont perform themselves. Then go and tie up with other worthless counterparts.

        The Bank runs over limit on cards and lets cancelled membership costs go through.
        On the other hand the general insurance refuses to cough up money paid by us for the exact same reasons we pay them to cover.

        Seriously HDFC should do an audit internally to see why they are turning up a billion unsatisfactory customers.

        4 cars with you ERGO. All four saying Byebye to your insurance next year! We wish you many years of No profit for the future.

          I book 5 FD's each of value 50, 000/- with Koramngla branch of HDFC Bank in Bangalore in June 2007. I asked the executive to book for 1 year and 15 days. But, when the statement came to me, it was written 2 years and 15 days with a ROI 9.5% p.a.. I asked the same to him. He said that it comes with a minimum default period of 2 years and 15 days. I an break at anytime and I will get the same rate of interest. So, as per my requirement i.e. Iasked for the closure of the FD after 1 year and 15 days. They deducted my rate of interest stating the fact the information that has been given to you was wrong.

          Now, I relied on the executive which was being send by HDFC Bank. I signed on the papers mentioning the period as 1 year and 15 days.Where have I done something illegal in this.It is the HDFC Bank who has chaeated me and given me a mental trauma.I request you to provide justice to me.
          I want to cancel my Fixed Deposit so please can you help me.
          We had a FD of Rs 150000 with Sector 14 Branch and on 28, 9, 2009 we advised them to renew for Rs 2, 00000 after debiting our A/C by Rs 50, 000
          At about 1345 hrs we had a shocking news from Ms Shivani that our SF Balance now only stands for Re 0.75 while it should have been Rs 7778.75 + 16236.19 = Rs 24014.94.
          We had generated Funds with a Donation of a Rupee even..
          The mistake is very seriously taken. An immediate amendment is asked for

            I went to HDFC Branch in Thillai Nagar, Trichy, Tamilnadu for opening a New Savings account (Joint A/c) on 04/08/08. The Account opening officer (J.DINESH RUBEAK) told me that all New Savings account Primary Card holder will have only Easy shop International Gold Debit card pre activated for his account. Gold Card is a default card for New A/c holders and it would be charged Rs. 500/- p.a.

            I insisted showing the application that there are options for other cards also for primary card holder. But even then he told me that Gold card is Mandatory to start a new account.

            Even though paying Rs. 500/- p.a. is not a matter for me, I do not find the additional features of Gold card much appealing and useful to me. But for the sake of opening the account and on believing the words of the officer, I opened the account with Gold card.

            Later through friends and customer care, I came to know that Gold Card is not mandatory. New A/c could be opened with International Debit Card with an annual fee of Rs. 100/- p.a.

            Though paying Rs. 500/- p.a. is not a matter for me, I find this as a pure cheating behavior. I am fed up to continue relation with the bank.

            I also spoke to the same person mentioning the above. Now he replies that “I[censored] r not interested in the card u can change the card after one year with a charge of 150/-“. Irresponsible behavior.

            I am hopeless to believe this person.

            Pls. give me a solution.
            Can I go for change of card? How & when. What will be the charges?
            What is procedure for changing this account to salary account?

The Account opening officer told me that all New Savings account Primary Card holder will have only Easy shop International Gold Debit card pre activated for his account. Gold Card is a default card for New A/c holders and it would be charged Rs. 500/- p.a.

            I insisted showing the application that there are options for other cards also for primary card holder. But even then he told me that Gold card is Mandatory to start a new account.

            Later through friends and customer care, I came to know that Gold Card is not mandatory. New A/c could be opened with International Debit Card with an annual fee of Rs. 100/- p.a.

              Hi

              HDFC Vashi branch recd cheque from PF Office which where dispatch from bangalore Dt 27/06/08 & 23/06/08 which had a printing mistake instead of [protected] it had printed[protected] but my name was printed on it along with the a/c no gain i am yet to recd the full amount from HDFC.

              One excutive Divya Shetty from Vashi Branch spoke to me around 7 to 7:30 on 29/07/08 after making complaints on telephone when i asked for vashi branch manager no the gave me a no which is always ringing .

              I think hdfc is playing games with a customer who is having a account for almost 8 years.

                I am one of the account holder of HDFC BANK, would like to list some horrible experience which I had gone through recently. Inconvenience caused stated as under:
                1. Terrible experienced at HDFC BANK – Punjabi Bagh Branch
                a) Problem raised when I went to HDFC BANK Punjabi Bagh Branch to apply for a new Debit card as the old one was misplaced. Being totally unaware with the procedures and rules of the bank thus seeking for help but instead of that I was being ignored by the staff, not only this some ladies were busy with their private calls and were discussing about the household stuff
                b) Then I queried from one of the staff member “how to apply for new debit card”. she told me to fill up the form for the same which was kept next to the wall - near to the entrance. I searched for the relevant form but got confused as there were many forms. Thus I spent around 15 mins there for the same but none of them took initiative to help out the customer.
                c) Thus anyhow I got the form and filled it up. I did confirm from the girl at counter no.9, I gave her my account details as it is a co-operate account so which address has to be mentioned coz I have already left the organization. She told me you can put your Residence address. She didn’t provide adequate details - that I have to fill the form for changing of address first. And as being unaware of the procedure I didn’t fill any form for the changing of the address. I applied for new debit card and credit card at the same time and mentioned my home address in both the forms. However I got my credit card at home address but the debit card was sent to the office address.

                2. Another awful incident with Customer Care People - Managers
                Thus I had a conversation with Cust care ppl around 4 times to check the status and every time a different statement was given to me. Which are as follows:
                a) 1st time - they told me that the card has been sent to the your office address when informed them that I m no longer working with that organization they replied that don’t worry as it will be returned to the bank and you can collect it from the Punjabi Bagh branch – which was fine with me.
                b) 2nd time - they assured me that the card has been already returned from my office and will be sent to the Punjabi Bagh Branch and I can collect it from there.
                c) 3rd time - they were not sure and was not aware that what exactly was going on??
                d) 4th time- I had a word with Asst Manager – Sonali Jain & Manager – Ravi Tiwari, both were impolite and blamed me for everything as its your account and you are responsible for your account and it was your reponsiblity to get the address change first. Ravi Tiwari informed me that the card was again sent to the office address and has been delivered to an unknown person.

                * Now I would like to take your attention towards few things –
                1. I wasn’t aware with the procedures as I am not working in any Bank – why didn’t the staff inform me at the first place when I asked them which address has to be mentioned in the form?? They were busy chatting with their colleagues or with their private talk, WHICH WAS MORE IMPORTANT THAN TO ASSIST THE CUSTOMERS??? People in the branch were unhelpful & didn’t care to provide adequate information.
                2. People in customer care dept are not clear with the work. As every time whenever you call, there would be a different person with a DIFFERENT STATEMENT FOR YOU. Well I believe there is no coordination in your customer care dept.
                3. Even the Managers in Customer Care Dept DO NOT HAVE listening, understanding, and problem solving skills. No matter what, they’ll find a way to escape and will put the blame on the customer. And THEY BELIEVE WHY CAN'T A CUSTOMER DREAM ABOUT THE PROCEDURE???
                4. I am fail to understand one thing that if the card had been returned once from my office and they told clearly that the person is not working here anymore, then why the card was again sent to my office and why not back to the branch??? Also if one of the CCE assured me that the card has already been returned and you can collect it from the branch then why next time Cust Care Manager said that the card was again sent to your office and has been delivered to Mr Amit (an unknown person)??
                5. And how can such a CONFIDENTIAL and IMPORTANT thing can be delivered to any UNKNOWN PERSON (you don’t even know that in which dept he works in and what’s his last name)??? There are thousands of employees working in that organization out of which 100’s of Amit would be, where do I find him???
                6. Instead of empathizing and understanding the problem, the Cust Care Managers were adamant and kept repeating that you are held responsible. IS THIS KIND OF SERVICE WILL PROVIDE TO THE VALUABLE CUSTOMERS???
                7. Well I had a conversation with the Manager Mr. Shelton Pascal, he understood the scenario and was polite and apologized for the mistake and on the behalf of the other two managers – SONALI JAIN & RAVI TIWARI . But please I don’t want apologies. WILL APOLOGIZING CAN RECTIFY THE SITAUTAION????
                8. I can’t understand that the procedures have been made for customer satisfaction or to HARRAS THE CUSTOMERS???
                9. Well in this kind of situation I don't think that my money is safe in the bank
                10. This is like a black spot to HDFC bank, offering just inconvenience to the customers. I Don't think that really want to retain the customers???
                Well at the end I would just like to say that I am really unhappy with the kind of services provided by HDFC staff. I think HDFC should first enlighten its employees that what exactly the customer service is…!!!

                  I recently opened a Savings Account with HDFC Bank Ltd. I have been transacting for last three months, suddenly one morning my Savings Account has been freezed and all my funds in the account has been kept on hold, I do not have any intimation form the bank nor the executive in the Branch is able to help me to get the information, why are these people troubling the Individuals, when this funds got freezed I was travelling and had a tough time to settle my Hotel Bills, I was unable to reach the HDFC Customer care also, I had left a message at the Branch Phone No. asking for the help, none of them were bothered to revert back my call, and now am completely unaware as what is going on with my account, will I get this money back ??

I was also informed that I will have to pay Rs.300/-for the said statement which is not acceptable as none of the banks demand the money for handing over the saving bank account statement.

                    Stop Payment Instruction

                    I have preclosed my personal loan with ICICI Bank and IngVysya Bank. I was told by the two banks that i need to contact my banker to give a stop payment as the current month's ECS would hit the SB Account. They mentioned that the closure letter would be mailed to me within 15 days. As per their suggestion I visited HDFC Bank, where i hold an SB Account and the ECS was getting cleared every month with a request letter to stop payment...

                    hello,
                    my name is ahsan javed. i joined hdfc bank ltd. as a sales executive on 29th octuber 2007, in kashmiri gate, by mr.
                    RAJ BHADURI, who is a sales manager. and my area sales manager(ASM) was VISHAL GHAI. I worked with them till 22january 2008. on 22january i was forcely asked to summit my resignation latter to SM. Becouse of their promotion chances and the performence where declining...

                    i did't got my salary yet, they promised me if i resigned before the closing for the month of january, they will farward my salary, otherwise they will terminate me and even not give my salary..

                    becouse i was running short of money i resigned when they insise.
                    but after that day they always call me and ask me to give some refrences as a bribe to credit my salary.
                    they also mentally tortured me after one week of joining date by continuasly changing my market place, even they put my a/c in others code...
                    now i m fed up by their attitude, i thought how they treat their customers if they behave like this to their junior or freashers.
                    i need my salary, please help me out in this situation. my employee code was CA-11694, i was in their current account new initiative(CANI) team. thank you

                      I am having my Savings Bank, Current A/c, holding locker and the above credit card.
                      I received a letter from your bank, saying that a sum of Rs.5703.00 is lying outstanding for non-payment of the earlier bill. I sent a mail to this effect on 8.7.09 and expressed my grievances. It seems that bank is reluctant to attend my letter thus sending another letter dt.6.7.09, pressurising on me to pay the amount. They also mentioned in the above letter that they will be forced to take disciplinary action for such non-payment. I am at a loss to understand as to what made the bank to claim the amount unscrupulously. Has it been the regular practice of the bank to claim unauthorised amount from its customers? It is to be noted that I shall close all my association with the bank by not paying a single paisa. I am mentally tremendous disturbed for such letters and phone calls (which they are making at a regular intervals). Hope you understand my world.

                        i was offered personal loan of rs. 2.5lackhs through ur D.S.A. m/s surmya financial services, ahmedabad. my loan amount is approved by your bank but, to my surprise the amount which was transferred to my saving account in HDFC bank was only rs. 2, 33, 920/-. i seek an explanation from ur end that how did u arrive the amount which u deposited in my bank account no. [protected]. after many phone calls to mr. umang shah of surmya i was given an appointment to see ur mr. animesh shah at shivalik-3 in drive-in road, ahmedabad. where after two hr lenghty discussion i was told that ur credit card outstanding amount is being deducted from ur loan amount. here i would like to clarify that my credit outstanding is nil as on today.

                        I ASK U THE SIMPLE QUESTION THAT HOW HDFC BANK CAN PLAY A ROLE OF BIG BROTHER AND SETTLE MY DUES WITHOUT INFORMING ME? PLEASE EXPLAIN.

                          Its almost 6 months i am trying to get my net banking password from HDFC bank. They tell that it is been mail to your address. But i have not received any post. Then they take a new request and again i wait for 7 day and call them they tell is dispatched you will be receiving soon. ..but i dont receive and when i call tract the airway bill number it say in transit..and after some days it displays returned back..i am really feedup..

                            I was requesting for settlement of the above card account from Sep'2007 and every call bank concerned staff promising me that will settle soon.

                            In Nov 2007 bank staff called me and confirmed that settlement request already forwarded and pay now Rs. 3050/- and the same will be deducted from final settled amount accordingly I paid the sum.

                            I received settlement letter in January 2008 vide Ref No. S0112313 dt. 18/01/2008 showing settlement amount Rs.24, 000/- on receipt of the same I approched Bank informing the fact that Rs. 3050 I paid in the Month of Nov'07 not deducted and they confirmed that will re-issue letter by deducting Rs.3050/- in the monthof April 2008 but till date not received the same and bank staff (Rohit of HDFC Bank Rajouri Garden Branch New Delhi) calling me by misbehave speaking to pay more as reflecting outsatanding in their system.

                            In view of the above, I request you to do the needful to rectify my account

                            sir,
                            i have joined in hdfc bank in vellore main branch, officers line has a sales excutive.iam joined in the date of 25.08.2008, and i worked properly as per bank rule.and i give the regular buisness to the bank in account opening and fixed deposits.iam recieved my conformation letter on the date of 25.09.2008.and i opened a salary account in hdfc bank itself but iam not recieving in single rupee as a salary in your concern my superier officer did not said the responsablity information to me about my salary i also quarrled with my supereier officer, but there is no response in your concern my coded salary is Rs 6500-/ and iam resigned my job in 10.04.09 and i already mailed to mr anuj.v.mathur but there is no response finally i decided to file the suit in the court of vellore jurisdication against hdfc bank to the non payment of salary finally i just wait for only a week and my employee code is CV11501 if there is no response in this mail also iam going to file the case in the court.

                              I am an customer of Centurion Bank of Punjab Credit Cards[protected]****(Last 4 digits hidden because of privacy) i used this card for about 28000 in the month of dec & in the month of febuary made a payment of Rs. 15000 then a month after i got a call from a collections exec from ICICI bank saying they are taking care of billing for CBOP cards & was asking for cash payment i was slightly relunctant in paying cash of rs. 31000 which i was asked for so i asked him to collect a cheque of the same on[protected] dinesh from Galaxy Comercial Limited (M-79 First Floor M Block GK II New Delhi-48, Registration No. MIV/ST/Bank & FINC/4. PAN Based STC No. : AAACI1195HST001)
                              came & collected the cheque of Rs. 31000 vide receipt Number 5612913 the next day same guy called me up & said your dues are not 31000 it is Rs. 32000 so you give a cheque of the same else you will be charged interest on the entire amount to which i agreed & gave him a cheque of Rs. 32000 on 03 -06-08 he promised to return the previous cheque in couple of days time. which i never recieved back . rthen i got an mesage from bank confirming the receipt of payment of Rs. 32000 but unfortunately on 19-06 -08 i got a call from some collection agency saying that the payment hasnt been recvd because the cheque was in favour of Centurion Bank Of Punjab & not ICIC bank & the billing is taken care by ICICI bank & tried convincing him that i am not liable for interest of this period & then i kept the phone down saying i'll check my a/c first after checking the a/c i could check that money hasnt ben taken out so on 23rd i went to ICICI bank but they were not accepting the cheque payment so i called up customer care from the bank only & she said i can pay it in cash with an additional Rs. 100 by the next day before 11 am then i wouldfnt be charged inyterest for the next month. the next i deposited Rs. 35050 in cash in ICICI bank Kamla Nagar Branch. Now on 18- 07-08 i got an sms on my mobile abot cheque recvd which was supposed to be returned to me by the collections agent & the next day i got an msg about the cheque return as the cheque is in favour of CBOP which i gnored as i had already paid that amount in cash then on 20-07-08 i tried to use my card however it was declined which i didnt knew why & unfortunately at that time i didnt had cash in my pocket so i was actually embarrased i had to call somebody to come & pay the bill. After 15 min from then i got an message from CBOP stating that my card balance is in negative[protected] so i tried gettting in touch with Cust Care but asusual line was busy so today 21-07-08 i called STD number of cust Sevice as they do not have any delhi number the agent wasnt ready to listen then i asked to transfer the call to manager . The call was transferred by Natasha - Cust service manager but this lady was actually out of her mind despite of telling her that i calling from delhi to mumbai even she kept on beating around the bush without paying attention to what am i saying the entire call lasted for 53 min 17 sec with no conclusion . I am desperately looking for help. as i i have used 35000 rs on my card & so far i have paid Rs. 50050 & they are asking for another Rs.46000 which even they dont know why. Now my card is blocked even after paying 35050 without any dues they are saying that i cant use the card for another 6 months .

After that I not recieved my Debit PIn I have submitted duplicate pin request tow times. after this long struggle and so much of complaints I got my Debit Pin on 16/7/08 but its very shamefull for bank that this Pin is not correct..

                                Firstly I tried on 16/7/08 then ATM Machine showed me that your PIN is incorrect. I thought may be some ATM Machine Fault.



                                But after that today I tried then again its showing your PIn is incorrect and you cant imagin today I have to faced a big ashamed becouse i was not able to collect money from ATM Machine.



                                So I must say abt your bank "Fraud Bank"...



                                Anyway next talk will be in honrb'le court...

                                    I want to know what redressal I have as a citizen against lousy customer service by HDFC Bank. I am so tired of dealing with their Noida Branch. What redressal do I have against lousy customer service. What redressal do I have against incompetence of bank officials.

                                    They dont keep their promises. They don't reply to mails. They tell lies.!

                                    When I go to their site I find nothing on customer service. So where is an ordinary citizen supposed to go.??

                                    Please help me get to some senior folks in HDFC bank to complaint against the Noida branch.

                                    I have a salary a/c in your sector: 10, panchkula (haryana) branch. I had opted for a SIP for Rs. 2000 per month (Rs. 1000 for HDFC Equity and Rs. 1000 for HDFC Growth) in the month of Jun 2008. I was briefed that the instalment would be debted by 5th of june, but it was debted on 15 JUN 2008. I went to the branch again after a few days and the staff assured me that the next instalment onwards it will be debted on 5th of every month. But it was not done even after visiting the branch thrice. I was highly dissatisfied by this. I decided to stop it and went to the branch on 27 Jan 2009. They asked me to approach their office in Chandigarh. I asked them if there would be any penalty. They assured me that there won't be any charges even if there is no balance in my account. It was a surprise for me to see my a/c statement debted by Rs. 1000 for the reason of ECS return. I was never told by the branch staff about the ECS. The fault lies at the end of your branch. Therefore, the amount (Rs. 1000) may be credited to my account. Before this episode, I used to be proud of having my a/c with HDFC bank, But this has almost vanished my faith and belief in the bank. Presently, I am not maintaining balance in my a/c due to sudden debts for anything which a normal person like me is not aware of.

                                    Savings + Loan - Customer Service — Frustrating Customer Service

                                    It's quite embarassing to be a customer of ICICI bank, still, after all the frustrating, unpleasant and irritating customer service I am getting from ICICI since last 2 months. I dont know what happened to the ppl in ICICI. If you continue behaving like this to your customers, you would surely lose all your business in no time.

                                    I had been a customer of ICICI since 2004 and I own accounts too. gain, I had a car loan since 2005. I was very satisfied with ICICI until 2008.

                                    Now I feel very much frustrated with the beavior of your people at different branches. Especially Bangalore Bommanahlli branch when I went there twice - one for closing a car loan and second taking a new one. Both tme, I got really very rude service (new loan- Mr. Rajesh, [protected]- pathetic service).

                                    Again today I had trouble in crediting money into my account at a branch in Kerala. They didn't allow me to put more than Rs.49500/- saying I havent updated PAN number. I am damn sure that I had given my PAN card copy when I took the account in 2005. Now they tell, its not yet updated !!! And they havent informed me till now. Dont the bank have any responsibility to intimate on the same? What else is your job other than Banking? I put my rest of the money Rs. 2 lacs to my HDFC account. Who is losing Customers?

                                    And the most thing that Really Embarassed me was the behavior of the Manager in Changanacherry branch when I talked to him - Mr. RamaChandran Reghuvaran, Branch Operations. VERY RUDE and Impolite guy

                                    I think HDFC Bank should colse there net banking service because there are so many problems and it shut down 2wice or 3trice in a month and all problems comes on our head .
                                    My A/C no-[protected], last statement recd with balance Rs 5815.23(As on 05/05/2009.)
                                    Further no statement has yet been received.It is understood that some amount has been deducted from my A/C. I am quite ignorent of any policy changes and do not have also any transection during the Last one year period. As such deductions if any may please be withdrawn for my ignorance and please arrange to send an up to date statement of A/Cs with your valuable advices. Savings are done to secure and deduction if any without customer's knowledge will be injustice. However in future i assure to abide.

                                    HDFC unfortunately the preferred bank for home loans in India.

                                    Customer service does not exist, so pls. do nto be disappointed. The Share holders, and the executive management prefers to get hefty pay cheques and give a about there customers, the effect trickles down to management and the employees of HDFC. That is pretty clear form the employee attitude of HDFC.

                                    To all the NRI’s and people of Indian origin, remember u pay a premium interest rate plus processing fee for home loan application i[censored] apply for the loan from outside India. All though u might expect a level of service for premium price, there is none. Infact its worst than wat u receive in India.

                                    In India, at least an HDFC bank representative will visit your house and collect the documents; this facility is also not available overseas. U pay a premium processing fee, just ‘caz of perception of HDFC bank, being an NRI u have adequate cash and u need to pass it on to the share holders of HDFC.

                                    Now wat I have written is an experience that I am currently sharing with HDFC. Infact they have gone one step further, they have misplaced my post dated cheques, never informed me, till I have written over 5 emails and few phone calls.

                                    So, my sincere humble request to all you people out there, is make a wise decision when u r out shopping for home loan.

                                    This is the worst customer service from any bank I have seen till date. When called the customer service over the phone we have to go round and round on the IVR and once we get an agent they either cut the line saying "Thank you for calling HDFC bank". Or put back saying have re-enter the customer id and the T-pin number. Only on being harsh the complaint is lodged. I was told I would be delivered a Gold debit card instead, which was delivered to the wrong address, to update the address as informed i had to submitt a form in the bank and it would take 4 working days for it to be updated, this is ridiculous why is there no online facility to do this, its a pain in XXX to go to the branch and then it take 4 days for this to be update and change the address. I am facing a lot of problem as i use my debit card regularly and cant keep going to bank encash my money. This has to be taken care off. Is there any higher authority who is looking into this or is the higher authority same as their customer representatives. The best thing is there is no complaints option to log on the HDFC site when i searched. If there is any do let me know. This is pathetic service offered by HDFC.

                                    I have applied for a personal loan, i am a bachelor and shifted my room recently. But when i gave the docs the address was different, but all other docs where true. And as a bachelor i can never give a permanent temporary address, thats impossible anyone human being can say that. They have rejected my loan. thats ridiculous. The branch manager who was dealing with this is Sriram.c.subramaniam from bangalore can u please look after the issue or even this is a show off. and please recruit some good english speaking executives, the employees over there can neither talk nor understand. These are small things which make someone or something great going, no customer satisfaction at all. And moreover when i was explaining the branch manager this issue, he was threating me he will put a case against him. he thought i was some criminal and i ll get scared, i dont care a hell i asked him to do whatever he can.                                     Ihai My i had applied for a personal loan in HDFC ther representaive came & collected all the neccsary docs from me on 23 april saying that i takes 3 - 4 dys to process & approval . after all verifiaction i got a message from AD-HDFCBANK Saying that my loan got approved with REF no: 16537512 after that next day hdfc representative called MR sachin[protected] called & asked me summit 8 post dated cheque of Rs.16269/- and mr RAVI( [protected]) from hdfc came and collected the cheques with signatures on the other docs for ECS clearing from ABN AMRO FROM MY SLARY. Staing that with 24 hrs the laon amount will be credited to my account, but for 2 days i waiting i dint got amount in my account, when i called the bank people mr SACHIN & RAVI BOTH WERE rude to me and was not giving proper infrornation and GAVE there SALES manger mr GAJENDER SINGH NO ( [protected] ) AND SAID ME to contact him when i contaced mr singh he said that ther was some verification for my address proff & and 2 of the representative went to my home verified the address, aftr thet when i apporached mr asingh he said that he wanted to see my VOTER ID once for all when i showed all my ORIGINAl DOCS SUBMIITED TO THEM, THEY SAID WITH IN A DAY IT GET SANCTIONED BUT NOW MR singh Is not respondin to my call keepin my cheque he iis playing a fun, really speaking he is very unfit to be a sales manager, i think HDFC bank is taking unfit persons as therw Bms
                                    i am thinking to file a complaint against them & bank for my loss for these days please suggest this issue, he was threating me . Please if any human being over there can solve my problem

                                    I am from Mumbai, believe me looking at all these reviews i also know that this is not only me but now every one with HDFC is having an issue... I had applied for a loan and you know that the hassles that i to go through... i used follow with every one that was related to so called HDFC bank personnels.. instead of Bank callin me and let me know the status i use to call them... everytime i had a different answer... sometime they say that it will be done in two days all the formalities are done and some day.. they say that they are still saying that some verfication needed... and BIGGEST STUFF HDFC SENDS GUYS WHO DONT KNOW ENGLISH FOR VERIFICATION.. IMAGINE I GOT NEGATIVE BECAUSE THE GUY COULD NOT SPELL MY BUILDING NAME... I GUESS HDFC HAS ITS DAYS DONE.. SINCE I AM A MANAGER OF A REPUTED COMPANY .. I HAVE INFORMED MY MANAGEMENT TO CHANGE OUR SAVINGS ACCOUNTS FROM THESE FRAUDS.. ATLEAST THEY SHOULD REALIZE THAT WE WERE THEIR CUSTOMERS
                                    Customer service to bad in HDFC Bank, they have debited money form account with out any information.after if you call to the callcenter they told you we will arrange call back to you form your branch but you would not get any call from the HDFC bank. Could you please arrange hire authority mail ID for me.

                                    i have already 3-4 cheque. so now what i do?
                                    I doubt there are few HDFC agents who misuse our information or accessed my a/c cause my a/c shows a debit of 5000rs when I called customer care back, they said that they don't know from where it got debited.HOW USELESS.
                                    On 9th DEC I called hdfc for unknown charge of 110Rs and the amount was reversed but then that very day again I had 5000rs debited.
                                    I am disappointed .It’s the third unknown charge and my card is not misused by anyone other than hdfc customer care.
                                    My Card is always safe and never got misplaced. I didn’t use my card nearby any December date. And there is no possible case of cloning my details from nowhere other than hdfc.
                                    On 9th DEC I had word with 5 customer care agents. I remember few names ADIVA, JASNIT, SANJIV KAPOOR.
                                    I want the reversal of my charges in any ways. They couldn’t tell me the location also. And I issued no cheques to anyone so no ways of mistake from my end.
                                    I want to hear soon from you guys. I want total justification and total reversal. We trusted the customer care. Please keep a check on people you hire.

                                    I agree about this banks lousy customer service. I guess the bank only licks the asses of NRIs. why dont they clean their as well...
                                    I never seen worst bank than this. They are least bothered about existing customer, once their work has been done. Best thing is that no complaint link is provided in their site. they keep debitting money from account for no reason. In misguiding the customers they are experts. Nobody can cross them in misguiding.

                                    It seems that I have made a mistake by applying a home loan from HDFC Ltd.My File no is[protected]/AMITB. I started this process in December with Haldwani branch, from where I came to know after 1 month that the loan cannot be processed from there as I am wkg in Gurgaon, My all precious time invested went wasteful, Then in Jan 1st week I again started the process with Gurgaon, where your sales executive Mr Sunil mehta(Ph:[protected])came to me for all the documents, He told me effective time to disburse the loan would be maximum 1 week. whereas the loan of 16 L got sanctioned after my painful and time consuming follow ups after 1 month ie on 1 Feb. In between I never got a call from any HDFC regarding whats the status of application? From that date I have been told daily that the loan will get disbursed by next day .. but its never happening till day (17 Mar). I went to your First India Place branch. Where I met Mr Rishabh Sharma, who was supposed to send LAR/Tar email to Haldwani branch to know the buildup stage of property. He told me that he had send and response is pending, whereas From haldwani I got to know email is pending from His side.. From then I had been following, calling and meeting your HDFC bank, but everytime I meet disappointment, Due to your HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE attitude I have been missing my precious office hours and undergoing mental pressure. Due to this the Builder Omaxe will charge me huge amount as penalty for which I am not responsible . I am going to take this email to higher level and strictly want HDFC to pay this penalty if ever imposed to me. .
                                    You have a poor service with loan disbursement and nobody responding to me. Last 2-3 month i am getting tired of following my loan disbursement status.
                                    I hope you people understand that I can’t make a telephone call every time.

                                    I have been with HDFC for over 5 years. They have the worst Customer Service. Their employees are very impatient and lose their mind when asked to repeat any thing twice. They have been paid and hired to make us understand things and how the bank functions. It's sad that they got mad at me when asked to explain something twice.

I have apply two times for HDFC platinum credit cards, but always rejected, there is no proper reason sended to me. also my documents are hold there, they have to return me but from there no response comes. i have placed my address according to their positive zone but they excuse me always. and employee through which I do these is not picking my phone as well as he/she try to ignore me.
                                    so please find any solution . I want back my documents. If they used as illegel it, i definetly go to consumer court.
