i am an account holder in ICICI bank Magarpatta Pune branch. My ATM Debit card was stucked in Non ICICI ATM (Corporation Bank ATM) last week.Now i got my debit card through ICICI bank,but it was blocked. Kindly unblock my card. My account no is[protected].

Dear sir,

I am R.Rajesh, I am an icici account holder in Tamilnadu ( DLF IT SEZ PARK BRANCH, Chennai )Yesterday when i was paying my reliance data card bill through online by using my debit card, Hence debit card was blocked such case o[censored]sing wrong password repeatedly, Now I'm unable use my debit card for purchasing and commercial purposes.Kindly unblock my debit card and also my net banking my account no :[protected]

      I am surprised and shocked that Eight Hundred Twenty Seven Indian rupees ( Rs.827 ) is deducted on 19th Oct 2011 from my account as QAB charges for Sept 2011 quarter even though, i have maintained the sufficient balance.

      It is difficult to believe that one on the largest privet bank can adopt this type of irregularities in banking .

      I am quite hopeful that you will take a prompt action and will do needful to return back Rs.827 as deducted QAB charges

        Dear Sir,

        I've taken a loan in 2009 of 2.25 lakhs and started giving EMI's just after the next month of taking loan. I was not in the country and my father has given 2 EMI'S of 8k but they are not at all accepting. This bank is sending their agencies contractors and they are claiming that i've taken loan of 3.25 lakh rather than 2.25.......

        They keep harrasing my family by going at my home as i don't stay there anymore they call me and give me threats.

        As per the personal loan rule.... i am the only responsible person who will take care of loan.... Any other family member of mine has not any relation to this loan........They even say that they have sign of my father on paper thus he is also responsible but i bet that they just have my sign on paper my father had no idea about the loan.....

        My parents are heart patients and just coz of their harassment their health is going down.... if some tragedy happens at my place ICICI will be responsible for that...........and just go to hell they are not going to get a single penny from me

          My wife have a Current Account No.[protected],A/C Shree Ganesh Filling Station,Jalali,in the ICICI Bank, Gandhi park Branch, Aligarh,U.P., At the time of opening account, there was a tie-up with the Hindusthan Petrolium and the ICICI Bank, and there was no charges.Since Jan 2010 to Aug.10 the bank deducted Rs.97,036.00 in the name of transation charged,with out any notice to opt the the categary of the bank account.Kindly refund our money from the bank, which was charged with out any notice,such type of a small concern,it is a big amount.

              Sub. : Request for No Dues Letter for ICICI credit card A/c. No. [protected].
              Dear sir,
              Please issue me No Dues Letter for my above Credit card, as I don’t have any dues/ outstanding on this card. Please note that there are harassment calls from your bank and making abusive language to me (Hindi words-“Tumhari aaukat nahi paise dene ki” ; “Tumhare jaise third class aadmise paise kaise nikalane hai vo ham janate hai; Tumhe Court ke chakkar lagawaungi” etc.). That time I told her that I have already given you settlement amount on 13.12.2006 of Rs. 500/-, but she ignored. I request her to give your email ID or Bank address; so that I can send you scan copy of my letter to ICICI bank & Payment Receipt of settlement amount, But she refuse to give the same. After that she told me that you have to come for hearing at Andheri Court No. 22 or otherwise give us Rs. 10000/- to settle your account . But she doesn’t give me case no. or hearing timing. So I went there with my Advocate, but no such case was file there. I have to take full day leave from my office for this matter. So I request you to settle my issue & send me No Dues Letter at the earliest.
              Please find below the History of my card.
              Cheque returned from ICICI Bank for date wrongly written-
              Bank : HDFC Bank Ltd.
              HDFC Cheque No.-232127 Dt. 06.11.2005.
              Cheque Amount : Rs. 440/- Only

              I make the payment immediately after receipt of returned cheque. After that they charged me Interest on that returned cheque amount of Rs. 440/-.
              On December 2006 they called me as the interest amount is goes up to 8000/- so I ask to come for settlement. Then on 13.12.2006 your person Mr. P. T. Rajnikanth is came to my office and ask to pay Rs. 8000.00. After discussion he suggest me to pay Rs. 500/- (Rs. Five Hundred)by cheque on ICICI bank name and ask me to give Rs. 5000/- (Rs.-Five Thousand) in hard cash for issuing settlement letter. He has given me 100% guarantee for issuing settlement letter. I gave him cheque of Rs. 500/- & cash of Rs. 5000/- to him and gave him official letter to close my account (Copy of same is attached) After that I called him 10 times, he told me it takes time and you will gate No Dues Letter from courier. After that calls are stop from you for asking money, so I thought that my account is settled, But never received No Dues Letter & your person is also not reachable. I stopped using card from 2006.

                Closure of ICICI Safety Bonds Issued in 2001

                Hi,

                I had bought the ICICI Safety Bonds , 4 numbers, each cost of Rs. 5000, in Year 2001, whose Maturity Date was after 3 yrs i.e 2004.
                I want to close these ICICI Safety Bonds.
                I went to the ICICI branch, Kopar Khairane, they said these are the very old bonds, and they do not serve these requests.
                Hence would like to know the process to redeem these bonds.

                Hello Team,

                I would like to express another worst experience i had with one of your third party collection agent ... His name is Umesh, mobile # [protected] ... This person visited my place on 22nd October 2011 early morning.. He said it’s regarding one of the personal loans (LPBNG[protected]) wherein I’ve paid 26 EMI out of 48 and he would like to know when i will pay the remaining amount... I told him that I’ve got some personal financial issue coz of which i stopped making payment... I also told him that I’ve taken 3 loans in total and did provided detail for the remaining two loans... He said he will check status of the other two loans and will update me on the same. He then started talking about the loan for which he has visited my place as when i will go for either closer or will i pay at least one EMI for this time... for that i told him that he has visited at the last week of the month and i don't have money to pay even a single EMI ... He then assured me that if i go for closure he can give me the least discount amount to pay off and close the loan... i told him at this moment i can't afford to go for closure, he then said in that case at least can i pay one EMI.. i told him i don't have money as of now... he argued for a long time and finally i agreed to pay one EMI to this person and i told him to visit my place next month to collect the EMI amount... and now this person said he can't wait till next month and he want EMI on 29th of October 2011.. I told him if my salary gets credited on 29th itself i will call him asking him to come and take the money...
                I called this person on 29th early morning to tell him that I haven’t got the salary yet and asked him if he can come on Tuesday that is 1st of November 2011 to take the money and this person started screaming on call and started abusing me on call ... I told him if he continuous talking this way I will disconnect the call… he said you can disconnect any number of times, I will keep calling you… I asked him to calm down as I am not denying to pay money just that I haven’t got salary yet and that’s the reason I am asking him to come and take money on 1st… By then this person was at the peak of his voice and he started threatening me stating he knows how to collect the money from me…I told him if you continue speaking this way I won’t pay any money to you and disconnected the call…While disconnecting the call this person gave a wired smile on phone and said disconnect the call I know how to collect money from you.

                I‘ve got a humble request to you guys… Please ask these third party agents to stop calling me coz they are very unprofessional and use such a bad language on call that anyone would feel offended and it’s really difficult to come out of it… I would like to assure you guys once again that I will close my three loans as soon as possible and i will intimate you guys on the same … And when I do that I wanted to deal with you guys directly (ICICI BANK) instead of dealing with your third party collection agency..

                Again requesting you guys to ask your third party collection agents to refrain calling me coz they are very rude, unprofessional & abusive on call.

                ICICI Bank — Unprofessional/ RUDE behaviour

                Hello Team,

                This is Saravana, I have taken 3 loan from icici bank and have paid EMI for almost 3 year.. unfortunatly due to some personal financial issue to stopped paying EMI and its been almost more than a year since i stopped making payment and thats where my name started appearing on your defaulters list moreover you've updated my detail with CIBIL as well and i am not complaining about that.. I would like to assure , the day i have enough of money i would walk to your main branch and will pay off the due amount.

                The reason why i am sending this email is to bring the following instance to your notice. This happend yesterday early morning when i was sleeping and got a call from Mr. Venkatesh ( phone # [protected] ) not sure if his original name is acutally Venktesh. He said he is calling from ICICI bank and would like to check when i would pay off the due amount ... I told him that i've got some financial issue coz of which i stopped making payment... he said its been two year since i stopped making payment and whenever they call i give the same reason.So this person asked me if i am having proper food and shelter atleast ... i told him yes i am having proper food and shelter ... so he said he just checked as i keep saying i've got some financial issue ... he then asked me if i am having proper food or something else as food which was really SARCASTIC way of talking to a person whom you don't even know ...So i told him to mind his language and for that he said if you having something else apart from normal food come to Bomanahalli as ICICI are offering free meals to poor everyday... and i disconnected the call as this person literally started shouting on call... Requesting you to speak this person and GIVE A STRONG FEEDBACK as how to talk to a person over the phone ... He might be doing his work but he need to understand the fact that he is talking to a person over the phone... who does have self respect and emotions just like any other person ..
                As i've mentioned earlier the day i've got enough of money i will pay off the due amount and will intimate you guys .... Also requesting you to ask these third party collection agency to stop calling me as they are very unprofessional on call.

                    icici bank has its tie up and the bank awards loyalty points via www.payback.in to its customers when purchases are done either by credit or debit card.
                    i am holding an icici bank account and an icici bank credit card.
                    now the problem which i am facing is that the points are not getting credited to my payback account (payback card no [protected]) since last 2 months . every time i have to run after the customer care of payback.com... the compalint nos are [protected],[protected] , and [protected]
                    on the other hand icici bank says that they are not responsible if the points are not getting credited.

                    as a customer it is causing a great inconvinience to me and at the same time its a cheating and fraud case againt icici bank and the website payback.in

                      On 10.9.2011, I had deposited the outstanding amount against above referred loan of HB. With the outstanding amount Rs. 6303/- were added and levied from me towards pre payment penalty charges @ 2.21 at O/S principal. I had requested that time that as per the news published in leading news paper dated 7.9.11, wherein it was stated that the banks were instructed not to levy the pre-payment penalty from the floating rate loan, the pre-payment penalty should not be levied from me but the official did not agree to my request and under protest I had to deposit Rs. 6303/- against the pre-payment penalty. My above loan was on floating rate interest.

                      You are requested to kindly refund Rs. 6303/- which were incorrectly levied from me as levy of pre-payment penalty on floating rate HB is not only a clear cut violation but also disregard to the the instructions given by the RBI to the banks in meeting.

                      loan — Incorrect Loan updated

                      As per your records there is a loan for Rs43000 in my name taken on January 01, 2009 for which I have paid EMI uptil Auguts and since then no payment has been made and it shows as an outstanding amount. I tried applying for a vehicle loan which got rejected due to this. I have no such loan. Could you please check and provide me the details.

                        i have a ICICI credit Card. Since June 2011 i have been getting horrible service from the customer service reps and the collections team. I have written to Mr Krishnan i did get a call from Sanjay or Sanjeev i dont recollect the name, he did have a word with me i explained him the entire situations, he said he will email me with resolution and call me back, however i have not received any calls or email with any resolution. My issues is that I have a balance on my credit card which I am unable to pay due to some emergency issues. I called the customer service they said no we cannot help you as we don’t offer any payment plan. I did not make any payment for July 2011, again I got a call from ICICI they said make payment in August for 2 months and we will convert the remaining balance in EMI. As per I was instructed I made the payment in August for 12000 Rs towards the credit card. Next month if September they again called me to say that make you one month pending payment and then we will convert it to EMI. This time I refused to make any payment as whatever was promised to me never happened. I wrote to ICIC bank Mr. Krishnan Govindan, Head Customer Service - Phone Banking his rep called me and said we will give u the resolution and told me he will send me an email and I have to revert back to him with the details. I never got an email/call from him post that conversation. Now this girl Sunita has been calling me like 60-70 times in an hour to collect money from me. I am ready to talk however they way she was taking to me did not sound that she wanted to help me, she just wanted to know why I can’t make the payment and started telling me then why did u take the card and stuff, again as I said I am ready to clear the card if I get a payment plan set up rather than just change my number. I am still co operating with the Bank however there seems to be no cooperation from their side.

                        Its very easy to change and my number and disappear is that correct. I don’t want to do that. All I am asking is some help and support from the Bank.

                        i know how theese CC collection agents are. They really don't have any talking manners, ready to abuse anybody to collect money. i theink your collection has moved out from thee bank and passed over to theird party collection agency. These are DSA's and employ people who don't know how to talk mostly goons and less educated people. They get commission from bank on each payment theey collect from you. Don't be surprised if anybody lands up at your doorstep one morning refusing to leave witheout payment.



                        My 1st suggestion to you -

                        As thee number from where you've been getting calls is from Pune, and i assume you're staying in thee same city - Visit thee ICIC Bhandarkar Road Branch (main office for Pune) in thee credit card department (I guess its on thee 3rd or 4the Floor). Talk to thee senior theere and ask theem to help you out. They will definitely work out a plan for you and give you a letter theere itself.

                        Don't settle your card but ask theem to convert thee balance into equated installments and pay in full or if settled it will get reported in your cibil report and will continue to be theere for approx 10 years to follow. Withe theis you'll never be able to get loans unless you have an amazing score of 800+. but withe current past dues it may have been brought down.


                        2nd - Keep making minimum amount due payments on time. If possible take a PL and close thee CC balance out. PL rate of interest is much cheaper 15-20% P.A where as for CC it is between 35-45% PA.

                        So thee choice is your.

                        Please read thee laws of Citibank Credit division below link (Latest Aug 2011 version). Its usually same for all banks. Know your rights. If you do, you can take theese guys for a ride instead and still get your work done withein law and withe time. Ideally thee Collection agent cant call you 60 -70 times in an hour. That's what i call Total HARRASMENT !!

                        Next time record thee call conversation and make thee ICICI bank

                          I have taken home loan from ICICI bank and now I can say that this has been one of my biggest mistake . I simply don’t have words to describe their services.. they are pathetic. I m surprise that in such competitive world they r surviving with such mindset of their employee.
                          From the first day when I submitted my papers and processing fee my problems began, they are not ready to listen ur requirement, all the time they are forcing their ideas, after numerous calls and follow-up I received my section letter, mind it that is the third sanction letter with required corrections. Whereas from the first meeting I was very clear on my requirement and conveyed the same.
                          Once loan sanctioned then I start getting calls for insurance from iCICI , they make me sick with number of calls even after I told them I don’t require any insurance.
                          After all that now I am facing problem in loan disbursement, its more than 10 days I had forwarded my demand letter and doing all sought following up with bank. Don’t understand how many more days they required to make one cheque.
                          Now for all of you who are thinking for Home loan, my suggestion is go to any bank but don’t ever think of ICICI.

                          You are absolutely correct Mr.Abhijit Choudhury even i had done a mistake by approaching for Loan with ICICI Bank. The people working in the icici banks staff was very irresponsibility and they think that they are working in a government office. most of the people was corrupted and the expect money form costumers. If any costumers refuse money to them then they will show their harassment and torture.


                          He Mahatma Gandhi was Still Alive and He would like to go for Home Loan through ICICI Bank then these people will also ask bribe to process the loan.

                                  I was a credit card holder with ICICI Bank about 8 years ago. There was fraudulent usage on my card and I called to cancel the card and contest the fraudulent usage. I was asked to pay all dues and then contest the fraudulent usage. This I refused to do, saying that I will only pay for what I had legimitimately spent. I emailed ICICI this but I got no response from them for over 4 years.

                                  Then, one fine day, 2 years ago, they called my home number and claimed I owed them several thousands. They claimed they had tried to contact me at my Delhi number, which is strange because I live in Bangalore. When my husband went to the ICICI Credit Card division in the boondocks of Bangalore and retrieved the records from them, we found that several months of my card usage records were wiped out and some strange address in the place of my actual address. Naturally they were not able to produce any records of my ever changing my address to a fictional one!

                                  We, however, paid ICICI for the legimitate charges plus interest and got a letter from them saying that the account had been settled.

                                  The fun began again 2 months ago. They reached me via email and I wrote saying that all accounts had been closed and that I had a letter to that effect. They apparently don't keep records, so now they claim I owe them several thousands all over again. I told them I had the letter and would scan and send it at my convenience. This time ICICI's goons have started harrassing my family members. They are calling on their home numbers and rudely threatening all sorts of dire circumstances. Not only do they not have records, their right hand doesn't know what their left hand is doing.

                                  I have 2 questions-
                                  1° Where are they getting this information (family members' phone numbers)? This can't be legal, right?
                                  2° Has anyone faced similar problems with ICICI?

                                  I am planning legal action and would like to know if anyone has had similar experiences with them or with any other bank.

                                  ICICI Credit Card — OVER CHARGES & HARRASSMENT

                                  My name is Manoj Kumar. IO bear ICICI card No[protected] for last one year.But last after july their was missing of bill and i could not found bill up to Sep 2008. But i was getting information through recovery agent that My bill is approx Rs 10000. pay immediate. But i always pray for total no of bill from July to Dec 2008. But they could not provide me. One one ladt Name Priya had call me to settle this matter of Amounting Rs 6000/- if i pay Min amount of Rs 500 in October 2008. and she promise to settle this matter with balance payment of Rs 5500 after receiving NOC from Bank. But after payment of Minm payment, non has consult for balance payment. After 2 month again several call i have received that ur out standing is Approx 12000/ anf settle with 9000/- But i refused due to negligence of Bank working Style . After several request they provide bill from June to dec 2009. In which my total expenditure is approx Rs 5000/
                                  So i request to settle this matter as soon as convenience.
                                  They are give me threatining on phone / mobile also.

                                  ICICI Bank — payment harrament

                                  I want to compalint angainst the constant harrasment and threats and abusive comments being made by the icici recovery agents.this is one of the most double standard bank that apologies to u when u complain to the phone banking, only to be harrased again by the recovery agents.
                                  I lost my job due to recession and proactivvely informed the bank abt the same as responsible citizen in the form of email, registeres letters and by visiting the ank branch.I asked for consideration and settlement/rewrite of my account but was never given any response.I recieved only treating calls from the bank's recovery agents who are extremely rude and threating.they threated to send goons to my place for recovery and called me atleast 5-10 times every single day.
                                  An institution like this who has no respect customers longn term relation with the bank asnd past records should be banned.
                                  these people have no respect even for the RBI regualtions.I think only when some frusted and harrased customer like me will be forced to take some drastic step due to this agonising act of the bank will they learn some lesson.

                                    I have noticed in lot of cases of theft of Credit/Debit Cards, that these cards are not Pin Based cards.

                                    As I have confirmed from the Card payment networks ie VISA/Mastercard/Maestro,

                                    There are two types of cards 1. Pin Based Cards 2. Non Pin Based Cards (Direct Pay)

                                    1.In Pin Based cards while any card gets swiped at any of the POS(Point of sale/Merchant establishment) the device asks to enter a PIN for payment to merchant, here customer enters valid pin and the further payment gets done. As security point of view of the cards this is the perfect method.
                                    2. In non PIN based cards customer dont have to enter a pin at any POS, as card gets swiped the device immediately gets approval for the payment and immediately payment is made to merchant. In this case if the card which is swiped is stolen or lost and if customer has not informed to bank regarding blocking of the card, he will loose his money(which is same as money gets stolen by a thief). As security point of view these types of cards are just problem to customers. The money linked to these cards is never be safe.

                                    In india ICICI issues only non pin based cards ie.VISA/MasterCard - The bank which has the huge volume of customers and also heavy volume of Funds also, is not at all concerned with these type of security issue of the cards. Really surprising.

                                    Maestro has the facility of PIN based card, but I have seen only SBI cards have links with Maestro.

                                    I want to urge all big Banks that please issue such Cards which have PIN authentication facility at POS which will enable high end secured solution for card security.

Your post on the consumercomplaints.in where you have raised the concern that ICICI Bank has a huge volume of customers and is not concerned about the security of the customers.

                                    We would like to clarify that ICICI Bank at all times acts with diligence, in good faith, and in no manner prejudicial to the interests of its customers. However, ICICI Bank has enabled instant sms on card usage at POS ( an sms is sent even if the value is Re1).

                                    With the new RBI guidelines mandating that a PIN be asked everytime a customer swipes his/her card. ICICI Bank has already enabled it's debit cards to be compliant with this new requirement. Thus as soon as the POS machines are ready with the new software, there will be a PIN based authentication on ICICI Bank Debit cards."

                                      I am an ICICI Bank customer for the past 15 years or so (Malleswaram Bangalore branch) and operate my account through internet. I visit the bank only when absolutely necessary as I am able to operate/check my account through internet. Eversice I remember, the bank has been providing cheque collection facilitiy in ATM booths for crediting the cheques into the accounts and for credit card payment. Since a few months, the bank has withdrawn this facility for the reasons best known to them. They have been dodging with stock answers when enquired. It is since 3-4 months this facility is not available and the customers have to commute all the way to bank branch only deposit the cheque (time, cost, and effort). They say that the facility would be reintroduces but are not giving any schedule.

                                      I do not understand their problem when all other banks are maintaining this service.
