[Resolved]  imate — No proper service during warranty period

I brought the imate JAMA mobile phone on 07-Jul-07 and within 4 months the mobile is not charging and touch screen was not working. So, I gave the mobile phone for repair on 23-Nov-07 to service center (Imate service center, Finephone Solution, Bangalore, Job order no 2767, Dt 23/11/2007) they told there is some problem in the mobile motherboard they will replace.
They dont have the stock so they told come on next week but till now(19-Jan-08) it is service center.
whenever I call to service center they will say they have order for the mobile motherboard and till they not received the board and it will surely come on next week. It is already 2month over it is in service center itself.

I'm very much disappointment. KIndly do the needfull.

i have brought the imate jama phone is hopeless its not working properly at all from when i have purchase it's vibator and camera it's totally dead and i have to service center and 3 momths have pass but still the same

I bought Imate JAMA 4 months ago. I used it hardly 3 or 4 days. Then I put it on charging. When I switched it on after charging, It didn't. I gave it to the agent from whom I bought it. He sent it to Mumbai for repair. After 3 months he told me that its display board is not working and that part is not available here, so best thing you threw this piece and good bye.
I don't know why they cheat the customers? Is it all to earn money by wrong way? That's it? Why this big companies do this when people trust them? After all service centers also belong to them. Its a part of company. Why they don't care about it?
Please do the needful in this matter or close the company.

I want to know about service centre nearest to jamshedpur ,in my mobile some hearing problem is there ,purchased near about 6 months ago .hearing problem was from very starting I asked the shopkeper he says it will be ok after using some time ,
but now i can't able to hear clear sound model (i-mate PDAL)

i want know the imate service centre in chennai it is very urgent.please send the address of imate mobiles service centre.

I hv been facing prob with my imate SP5m. The joystick is not functioning properly. It has been just 6 months since i hv been using the phone.
Am a resident of Chennai. There arent any service centres listed in clubimate website too.
Can anyone suggest authorized service centres to rectify tis problem. Pls provide their address too i[censored] know any.

have bought a mobile phone , Brand name "i-mate k-jam and the following problem.
1. Frequent Hang i need to restart .
2. Now totally block out during charging the battery getting hot.

imate — Mental harrassment due to defective imate smart flip not being rectified

I purchased above model cell phone no.[protected] on 11 08 2007 from poorvika mobile world, addressed at no.66 Thyagaraya Road pondy bazaar, T.Nagar CHENNAI 600017 India. I noticed charging connector defect in the set on 26 01 08 and I referred the matter to the above mentioned dealer who in turn directed me to approach authorized service centre addressed at 86, 1st avenue indiranagar Adayar. Chennai 600020, INDIA. The authorized service provider accepted cell phone on 28 01 2008 for rectification of the defect within a week’s time.Much to my astonishment and agony the the service provider returned the cellphone on 16 02 2008 without rectifying the defect and gave reasons in writing unmatching to the reasons given in writing on 28 01 2008 that too after retaining my cell for period exceeding 3 weeks.. Authorised dealer Poorvika and service provider Iconet communication pvt ltd are disowning their responsibilities at the cost of my mental agony.The guarantee period is alive.

I have an IMATE smartphone 2 which needs technical assistance and support to keep it fuctionaling normally.
Firstly, the software is gone corrupt and hence the display goes crazy. You ask for something and it displays something totally different. Thus neither can you dial a number nor can you retrieve any information or data from the phone. Connecting the phone to a laptop and trying to retrieve the data has also been a futile attempt.
Secondly, since the flat charging slot jack which comes from the adaptor to the phone is spoilt and is not available I cannot charge the phone at all and hence I can do nothing with it.
Currently, i cannot use the phone at all and just now it is nothing more than a reduntant show case piece!!

I will be grateful if anyone could suggest a solution to these problems and will be more than happy if one could suggest a place for getting technical support in Bangalore. I look forward to opinions and suggestions. Thanks.

I have bought one cover thrugh EMS speed post receipt no-EE[protected]N, date-21/04/08, near sohna chowk, main post office Gurgaon, (near kachahari road) Gurgao to ranchi, but not dileved till date...

I brought the imate JAQ mobile phone on 29th-Feb-08 and within 2 months the mobile is not charging and there is hangover problem. So, I gave the mobile phone for repair on 3-May-08 at shop from where i have purchaged the samethey told they will send the same to the service center at will confirm on 9th-May-08 when you will get it back on the same day they informed and told your mobile is repaired you can collect from the shop.
But today again it not charging i don't know what they have repaired on this if problem is still persists.
