[Resolved]  India Today Book Club — Not able to avail the holiday voucher package promised by them

I hate INDIA TODAY BOOK CLUB, very soon this cheater club would be closed.

I will make 100 pamphlets everyday against INDIA TODAY BOOK CLUB &distribute each & every shop.school&home of India

I have contacted the customer care number[protected] many times but it was ringing with auto answering machine. After following the steps as guided, not able to contact with anybody for registering my complaint. The telephoned during working hours ie 10 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday.

i'm the member of india today book club with membership no- "ITBC08563088"...1 year back from now i had ordered adidas shoes worth rs 2500...which was offered to me at the rate of 750 (incl of shipping)...till this date i haven't received my shoes...in the meanwhile i had received a business reply envelope which stated that there is no stock for adidas shoes, so i can go for a amount refund or else get a reebok shoes as an alternative...i chose to go for reebok shoes and posted the envelope wid the same...but i haven't received that also tilt now...i request the person subjected to this mail service to contact the manager of ITBC and help me to get me my shoes in next few days or else i'll have to file a legal case towards ITBC for not fulfilling the member offers after being paid the amont...

Everytime I wish to e-order the latest offer from India Today Book Club, the Reebok Shoes + Reebock Goggles + Reebock Wrist Watch, for the offered price of Rs.3198, and fill-up the specified Form of application, I get a message that "my Contact Address is incorrect". I am unable to understand this as I donot know with which address my present Address of Communication is being compared. I already sent a mail to India Today Book Club - Customer4 Service, but in vain.

Please note that, I was a Member of India Today Book Club about few years back, and my membership No. is ITBC04242231, Web ID No. is 1802231, Valid thru 08-Nov-2006, and I donoteven know if this Membership is still valid. The Membership was taken by me when I was staying at Flat - 1B, Arihant Garden; 81 - Southern Avenue, Kolkata - 700 029. I have since shifted my house, and my changed Address & Contact details are:

Guys, dont take these offers. Am shocked to see numerous complaints. I was about to order, but am not going to do it and will suggest all my friends. Please do the same from your end

I have paid Rs. 5750.00 for an offer include one camera+one holiday pakage+ one reebook watch...
of which I recd only camera. Icalled to their delhi number several times, they have no answer for this

India Today Book Club — Order Not received,but money was debited

I have made a Purchase thorugh Phone for a Kodak Digital camera and payed for that too via Credit card, but still i didnt receiver the order, it has been more than a month i have made the order and when enqiiured through the customer care, i have to wait for nearly 15mins for them to attend the call and then also they dont give proper response.
they say that it has been despatched through DART MAIL COURIERS, i have checked in there web site with tracking number, but it shows delievered, another Faurd Courier, who doesnt have proper helpline facility also.
its not small amount, i have paid 5700/-rs for that and have wasted nearly 500/- rs calling to the customer care number, there is no use in any of these...
i have proof of everything, the mail send by them and each and everything i have evidence.
please advice me, wat action i should take now ??

India Today Book Club — Not Received my Holiday Package with Air Tickets

I had Ordered 12 books with 3 CD's on 1st Week of September for Rs. 3200. I had made the payment through my Credit Card. At the time of Order the concerned person told me that i will get Holiday package of 3 days and 2 nights with Air Tickets for 2 people any where in India which i can use with in 1 year. He told me that i will get the package with in 10-15 days. I received Books package on last week of September, with out the Tour Package. Also the CD's in the Package are damaged. I have called their no.[protected] many times, but no one takes the call and it will keep you waiting. I had been wasting so much money on making calls. My Booking ID is:[protected] and my Membership No. is ITBC09114201 and my Invoice no. is ORA[protected]TS.
I got my books with Dispatch No.: 4560.
I have also mailed to them but no reply.
Hope compalint is booked against this club for cheating people and making false claims and promises.

India Today Book Club — Fraudulent promotion of holiday offer

I had ben given an offer by there telesale rep. recd the Offer pack and was asked to send a filled up form to the Premier promotions Bureau on a post box address in bangalore. they confirmed the recpt of our form 003451 on 15th sept 2009. Were supposed to send a code by courier to our address 6019 modrn complex Manimamjra chandigarh -160101. They cleimed despatch on 7th oct but no packet recd. I had paid approx 7000/- to get free stay with breakfast and Dinner for 7 nights 8 days onn any of their locations abroad. I palnned my trip but have had to make alt arrangements.
This fraud of this magazine MUST be exposed

Same problem with me. I paid by cash Rs. 574/- for 3 cds of Enclylopedia, 1 adidas bag and holiday voucher. I only got 3 cds in the packet, for which I paid Rs. 574/- in cash, Till today I have not got adidas bag, for the holiday voucher they are asking to send Rs. 800/- by demand draft to some postbox no. in Bangalore.

Is it worth sending Rs. 800/- for the Holiday voucher ? I doubt.

People please be aware with organization indiatodaybookclub.

I have introduced to a holiday package by executive from indiatodaybookclub. worth 2598/- . the offer looked very lucrative so i booked two packages.. later i realized my mistake when i got to know the hidden cost involve in the same which was not told earlier. i have reported this to indiatodaybookclub with the executive name who did not tell the hidden things. i have requested them to cancel my booking which i suppose they agreed however its fourth month running i did not get refund.
every day i come to office and write mail to indiatodaybookclub and same response 'apologies' ..

Please suggest what should i do

Holiday Package — books instead of gift voucher received

I have ordered for 2 gift vouchers of holiday package of Rs.3198 each. I have been expecting to receive the gift voucher and anxious to avail tour package at the earliest. But to my surprise, I have received some books which I have never ordered for. What steps I have to take to get my holiday package vouchers? What I am offered over phone via a promo call from the company and what I got for my money is entirely different.

rebook gym kit — not recevied my kit & money charged twice

i had orderd a reebok gym kit givn in an add in news paper dainik bhaskar on 4 sep 2009 i had made payment htrough credit card i had recevied a summer kit instead of a gym kit on 29 sep 2009 & i had retuned that kit on the adress of india today book club on the same date were as money is charged twice from my account once on 4 sep & second on 13 sep & i hadnt received my gym kit yet & when ever i try to call thm on there help line no they hadnt piced my no . So i demand that my twice charged money must be refunded till 30 oct & i shld receive my goods till 10 nov either i will be forced to knock the door of consumer court ..

at the outset let me tell u that ITBC has the world's most pathetic customer care service.

now to the problem... i had done two bookings on 21 sep 09-- booking id[protected] and[protected] and did the payment using my credit card at the same time.

this included a Samsung Star 3G phone (as told by customer service rep-sachin, and pankaj, senior DSR), a Reebok fitness kit, a 3d2nights holiday voucher plus return air tickets (including all taxes, as told by customer service rep), and a refund voucher of Rs 699/- which had been pending since my last transaction. i RE-CONFIRMED, RE-RE-CONFIRMED, RE-RE-RE-CONFIRMED abt everything, specially the 3G phone and air tickets inclusive of taxes. the communication must be recorded in ur crappy system.. so plz check that up before trying to tell me something more pathetic.

i requested the rep that i needed the items within 10 days, and he PROMISED me that they will reach within a week as he would put the case as URGENT.

pankaj, the senior DSR also gave me three customer service nos, his own number... also, sachin also gave me his number...

now, ur company is such a fraud, and full of ... these customer service reps' nos do not exist... the customer service nos [protected] and [protected]. just do not exist.. and the 3rd no.[protected] connects to the recorded voice menu, but never to the customer service rep!! i have tried some 50 times, and even held teh call for 20-25 mins...

after 28 days, i received a samsung star phone on 19th oct, instead of samsung star 3G phone... and i havent received anything else till now!!

it was for a samsung home theatre system plus a samsung dvd player... and i was supposed to get a Kodak C180 digicam, 3D2N holiday voucher and flight tickets free... i was supposed to pay 7598/- while i was charged 7898/-

today i finally received samsung dvd player HT system.. with a reebok watch... what the [censored]??

where the hell is the digicam? and where are both the holiday vouchers and both sets of air tickets???

does ur company have any [censored]ing sense or moral values??? u are just cheating consumers!!!

I WANT AN IMMEDIATE REFUND OF MY MONEY, AND U CAN COLLECT UR ITEMS BACK...

OTHERWISE I'LL HAVE TO FILE A CASE AGAINST ITBC IN CONSUMER FORUM...

I am sick of dialing customer care number. More than 15 Minutes and no answer. Perhaps this is not expected from IndiaToday. Not once or twice... continuos one week. The answering machine has a nice recording... Your call is important to us... what importance is being given to the customers...harrassment... Had I gone to Hot Spot, I would have got more satisfaction...immediate delivery...
