New IRCTC site has been launched. I had veru worst experiennce with the new sirte and mst of the time i am getting service unavailable. looks like the server cnfiguration is very bad. I started booking the ticket when I found 196 tikcets open. I am using 512 kbps speed Airtel broadband connection. but i coulnd't book one ticket till it is closed. I have crossed 15 minutes. when i checxed it again there is no ticket open in th list. From Chennai to nagercoil. We are toally unhappy with the way Railway board is doing it. THis is unacceptable . Very bad services for indian people. I am toally disappointment. :-( . Ssrry i have to raise this concern for people benifit.

lots of golmol is happening in railway booking the inside people (staff) will adjust with the local agents and collect hefty commission and get the tickets confirmed inspite the site will not open for booking the tickets get exuasted in 2minutesIRCTC — Booking of Tatkal Tickets
Hello,This complaint is regarding the poor & bad service of IRCTC to it passengers. I have been trying to book my tickets from my home town in Maharashtra to Kalyan on early 8am on 27th May 2011 for Date of 29th May2011. But the Irctc site was working very slowly ans in couple of minutes i.e exactly by 08:07am the tickets were already in 'W/L' or some in 'REGRET'. I don't understand this system. Also the reservations in tatkal were shown W/L on later dates like 30th May, 31st May, which are not yet opened for booking as you have to book only 2 days earlier. I am Really frustrated with this service. None of the times i am not able to book my tickets in Tatkal Qouta. Also the Agents must not be allowed to book online. I think there is some type of cordination with ticketing agents & irctc or Railway employees so, the Online passengers are not available with Tickets in Tatkal.
Also the Call Centre what IRCTC claims to be 24X7, is not so, i tries calling on this no. in morning at same time of 08:30am was not answered for more then 30-45 mins. I Request to Seriously look into this matter and take required action. As we are not satisfied with the service even though paying extra money for this online services. Thank you.

During booking a Tatkal Ticket on personal computer on boradband net connectivity, It has been found that filling Captcha before going for payment, the server does not respond properly in-spite of putting correct capcha ( case sensitive). After few minutes when all tickets book on quota, I common people allowed for waiting tickets only in tatkal quota. This is happening since last month. Whereas so called tour travel insure to provide tatkal ticket on paying extra money Rs.[protected] each ticket. Please look into the issue. Please also advise me for other higher move for solving the issue.
