[Resolved]  Irda — Fake bonus calls

I got a call today from irda employee that 2.56 lacs will be given to you by irda scheme. when i asked about details, she disconnected the call.
i called on the same number again, another executive picked up the call and told me amount 1.86 Lacs.
when i told her that amount mismatch, she disconnected the call

and we should report this matter to irda as well as trai as well as police so that they will not be able to cheat any person.

i also Received a call from a number [protected] saying that he is from IRDA and I will get a bonus of atleast Rs. 20000- for the insurance policy that I had taken few years back from hdfcsl. However, Il had to make an investment of Rs. 25000/- for birla sun life insurance company. but i have no recieved documents of birla sun life insurance company.ANY ONE CAN TELL WHAT I DO FOR MY PAYMENT BACK. MOBILE NO ALSO THAT FRAUD PERSON KAPIL MALHOTRA [protected], PLS SOMEONE HELP ME WHAT I DO FOR MY 25000 BACK MONEY. [protected] CALL ME IF ANYONE HAVE SOLUTION

I just now received call from[protected], he said that he is calling from Mumbai IRDA new Panvel office, and my MetLlife policy is under agent code.
So need to create new bond of 50, 000/- with reliance so that I will get 2, 40000/- as a bonus in 180 days. I checked in Google map there is no IRDA office in new Panvel Mumbai. When I told him to mail me the details he did not ready to do so.
I am sure its 100% fake i don't know ow they hacked the Met Life Database to get our personal information .

My father has received similar call from Fake Person names Priya Melhotra, Neha sharma & R K Chaturbedi ([protected]) & [protected], promising to pay 3 lacks and agent commision by depositing 50K. These peoples are targeting policy holders who are above 50 years, Please beware of such Frauds and inform others.

I received IRDA Fake call (Rishabh tripathi) & investment 3 scheme Rs 35000/-, 40000/- & 45000/- & benefit release Rs 30000/- Vat & other tax.

I call many time but not reply.

Please help me, Return Money .

I a getting the same call from one Mr. Rahul Khanna, he introduces as he is calling from IRDA, Cannaught Place, New Delhi. His personal mobile No. has given as [protected]. He was telling that I am going to get a bonus amount of Rs. 1, 28, 432/- if i invest Rs.30, 000/- in Birla Sunllife Insurance. If any agent from Birlasunlife aware this details, he will get 45% from the said bonus amount. So don't reveal all the details to them. I agreed and thereafter a call received from Birla Sunlife ins. They asked me that i[censored] have any doubt of this policy ? I replied that if any bonus amount is paying by your insurance company ? they said no bonus is paying. Then he asked what amount is offered the person ? I replied one lac something.(not revealed the actual amount he offered because of his advise). Then, I called the IRDA person and asked the details given by the Insurance person. But he wondered, and insisted me that don't disclose anything to them and if any person come to collect the cheque, you fill up the form yourself and note the application number and informed me, so that you will get the bonus money without any deduction. He also gave me my File No. as 000421 and Security code as BSLIUIN273578. He told his IRDA Employ Code as C84228 (Rahul Khanna). Then again i got a call from birla sulife on yester (07.07.12) and i agreed to pay the cheque. In between I searched on google about its genuinity, I undestand that it is totally fake and I didn't allow the insurance person to collect my cheque. I strongly asking that who is the actual villain in this. is it IRDA or the Insurance Companies??? On seeing this letter I request to the Insuracne company as well as IRDA to please take against such Rackets immediately.

Similar is the case to me...

I have received calls on 07.07.2012 from the numbers, [protected], +[protected], [protected] and [protected]. The callers posing themselves as IRDA personnel asked me any policy from any insurance co. which is lapsed. They assured me that the my lapsed amount shall be refunded and further a 150% bonous per annum on my regular premiums shall be paid to me, though my policy has been closed by my insurance company (Aviva LIC in my case).

After convincing me of their authenticity a person, namely Rakesh Sharma, posing himself Sr. Fund Manager from customer relationship deptt. of IRDA assured me that he has received my complaint file and today (that day) is the last day for me to claim the refund. For that I have to reactivate my agency code and a fee of Rs.19312/- in the shape of a cheque has to be given by me.

Sensing some foul play I inquired for other formalities and the name on which I have to draw a chq. He said that our person will come to you to collect the formalities and chq which I should write in the name of 'Aegon Religare Life Insurance' along with my pan card, voter id and one pp photograph.

When I asked why the chq is drawn in favour of Aegon Religare Life Insurance, why not to IRDA itslef ? then his reply was, "IRDA has appointed Aegon Religare a fund managing co. to issue all bonuses and refunds to all the customers and I am the nodal officer to handle all the cases for Jammu. He also warned me not to disclose this to anybody otherwise my claim would be forfeited.

At that time I understood the nefarious designs of the caller and asked him give me 2-3 days to think over it. He also gave me his personal number, [protected], on which I can call for any queries.

By this, I want to make people and IRDA aware regarding such fake persons and want that IRDA should act immediately and book these cheaters under law.

These are the companies, who are fraud, and train their people on this. We recieved a call from DA VISION, who provide davis club cards. This company is fake and fraud. People from top management to low management, all are corrupt. They train their people on all this. They call, and talk about Bonuses and refunds, they they come to that card. After taking that money, they don't even provide u with that call. No one should ever purchase the product from DA VISION. Blodly corrupts.

[protected] calling from Insurance verification Department Delhi. Was asking about my insurance policy of LIC. Was not ready to share his name or Employee ID. was saying his office is located in connaught place.

After reading above fake bonus calls, i got similar call from "[protected]- Rahul Kapoor" posing himself as a IRDA official from Mumbai.
He told me that i've a bonus to claim for Rs 47, 000 but i'll have to purchase a policy from Reliance Insurance to settle the bonus claim.
But i got suspicious and searched google for similar type of calls that i got from the peson who's posing an official from IRDA, and my doubts got cleared when i found the similar bonus fake call page on this websites. Pls be aware IRDA never sells or asks a person to purchase a policy on the behalf of the insurance compenies. This is the cheap practice adopted by several cunning agents who wants to sell polices for a small commissions and try to trap the innocent people by telling fake bonus claims.

It is high time that IRDA should speard a message about these fake bonus call publicly and take strict actions against those who're looting people by posing official from IRDA.

Yesterday I picked my landline phone, the call is from IRDA - BMD department, Mr Sameer Khanna from this no.[protected], and his personal number is [protected], told me that u are selected for the selected bonus of RS. 1, 57, 990, but first u have to pay an amount of 40, 000 to start the D2C service, after that u can recieve ur cheque before 15-dec-2012...

all fake Man... And when i asked him for the documentation, he said ur father have to deposit photocopies of ID Proof, Pan Card, photos and Driving License for address Proof... And I caught him...I also inquired about the BMD department but there is no information about this department from IRDA SIte...

Please Beware of such type calls...

today i Received a call from a number [protected] he saying that he is from IRDA and I will get a bonus of atleast Rs. 200000- for the insurance policy that I had taken few years back from Future generally he says you r the very lucky person. you r selected from govt of india free child education fund about 2 lac and your application is selected for that mr neeraj verma is a policy commission agent and he is provided the document from your side transfer the payment in bank a/c state bank of india your saving bank a/c but i have not any a/c in bank of india i have shocked regarding this scam i request him for stop the payment i have not apply for this that is wrong person mr neeraj verma is out of my knowledge who is mr neeraj verma he is given me his head of department dr rakesh bajaj no.[protected] i will call him and telling all about this case he says i will stop the payment and i forward this case our crime branch and result will be come in 5-6 working days now if you r the right person then invest the 50000/- in reliance insurance, mac insurance and shri ram insurance and DLf insurance policy i provide him regarding this my personal detail for reliance life insurance but can not issude the payment i m very shocked about that after reading the site & circular of IRDA My God I Request From Indian Govt, And Indian police, indian public kindly stop that type of scam

Girls call from Insurance Policy Confirmation Department which is connected with IRDA as Different no land-line no's:

They always ask
"Is there any policy you have?",
"From which Insurance Company?"
"How many years you pay premium of which amount?",
"Ok, sir you got Bonus Amt [XXX] of it, would you like to get it?" [amt on the bases of our premium pay]

They told it's generating every year as your Insurance Co. investing in the Fund.
"You haven't got any time before..., You wan't it?"
"Bcz, of your agent code is there so you can't get it. Are you interested get that bonus money?" " They don't tell ever."
"Is there any savings investment in any Firm you have, like HDFC/Ril/Birla's Saving Fund ? If "yes" then you have to spent this much of amount as per this information "[protected]", if not then you have to Invest this much of amount as per this information "[protected]" "

If we ask : "Is there any information regarding the Bonus available on particular Insu.Co."
"No, Only our Confirmation department can give you that information."

Today I also received a call from IRDA fun management department by
mr Vikas Gupta from nos [protected], 115, 116 who said that as I had invested in a very good scheme of ICICI Prudential last year Rs 50000.00 & you have recd a bonus of Rs 72600.00, he gave all the details of my different policies nominies and many other details.As I had earlier also recd similar type of call so I said that I am out of station and will return back after 2 days and there was a network disturbance so the call was disconnected. He asked me to invest in HDFC policy with a premium of Rs 51000.00 which will be returned after 1 year but I think that all this is fake. kindly guide me and plz check about the person calling from the above mentioned numbers

Today, I have received the Call from[protected] on time 12.46 pm that He is calling from IRDA Office and saying that Rs 17500.00 was deposited agasint my ICICI Life Insurance Policy. He says about to confirm the Policy No. and after I have call them to confirm, They call from another no.[protected] and then He confirmed my and my wife's birth date. Then they says that Rs 17500.00 was deposited as a Bonus against my ICICI Life Policy No 10169334 at IRDA Office. I have said that I have surrender my Policy, though they said that there is no issue only I have to deposit some money in Reliance Life or Birla as a FD. for Birla, I have to deposit Rs 12500.00 as FD through cheque with document my Pan card copy, driving license copy and one photo within one day.

I request to do needful and suggest me what step I can do against them?

I got a call today from a Priyanka Chauhan ([protected]) who told me that I am to receive Rs 3, 25, 000 and somebody else called Neeraj Mishra is claiming the money on my behalf. She directed me to her boss Rakesh Bajaj ([protected]). Mr. Bajaj spun a very convincing yarn and gave me a lot of information about IRDA. He finally told me that I have to take a D2C policy from one of the four companies in Thane, where I live, for precisely 62, 500. Once that is done he asked me to call him and confirm and gave his mobile number. I would have been fooled but for the fact that Priyanka called again to make sure I had talked to her boss. The so-called Rakesh Bajaj also called again to check whether I had got a call from Reliance Insurance. Now, tell me which Government or any other Organization provides this sort of service? I got suspicious and called IRDA office in Hyderabad and New Delhi. They confirmed that the calls I had got were frauds and not to believe them. IRDA indeed have a Rakesh Bajaj in IRDA and these fraudsters are misusing his name.

Got a call earlier this morning from one X, who wanted to speak to Kaporji as Kaporji's policy bonus was waiting for him. Upon being asked who he was and where he was calling from the caller identified himself as Manish from Life Insurance. Upon being further asked which LI company he was calling from, Manish said: "no Company, I am calling from IRDA". Unfortunately for Mr. Manish, I am very well aware of what the IRDA is, its purpose and what it does and doesn't do. But I played along and asked which Kaporji did he want? The answer: K Narayan Kaporji. I told him no such person existed. At this point, Mr. Manish wanted to know in whose name the said landline was since there was a bonus waiting payout. I asked him, given that he was the person calling, did he not know. I refused to give him any information and told him it would be better for him if he did not try to use the regulator's name for such calls, or I might file charges against him. That led him to terminate the call in a hurry.
My request to everybody out there: Your insurance and other policies are confidential, do not share information with anyone who calls, SMS-es or emails you without verifying. These are just ways to get their hands on bonafide investors and insurance holders. Please exercise care. Please be very suspicious of such calls.

I am getting similar calls from "IRDA". And the height is they make such calls on holidays too.
