[Resolved] Johnson Lifts Pvt. Ltd. — Rust formation in a new Johnson lift

Rust has started appearing in the panels of the lift. The lift is a newly ordered lift and we do not expect this poor quality of materials to be used by Johnson Lifts where the rust starts showing up as early as in about 2 years time. We have complained to the local service and sales persons and they do not seem to be bothered in-spite of having a AMC with them. If the panels are rusting, we do not know what could be the situation of the other moving parts of the lift and what else in the machine parts could be rusting. This could pose a danger to life and to the safety of the users of Johnson lifts. The quality of materials used by Johnson lifts seems to be like any other un-branded lifts. Can any senior manager of Johnson Lifts Pvt. Ltd. address this issue as soon as possible since the local officers seems to be indignant. Thanks Kumar Was this information helpful? No (0) Yes (0)

Johnson lifts agree that there is rusting on all main panels of the lift and since the rust showed up in the 2nd year of purchase they consider this to be normal and not taking responsibility to replace the defective panels with new panels.

My conclusion is that for a branded product purchased at full price as a new unit, it seems Johnson lifts Quality Control and Quality assurance standards are the lowest in the industry.

Buyers beware of the indifference of Johnson lifts to its customers once purchase has been made.

Johnson lifts have excuses of all sorts to belittle their customers, I being one of them. It is a sorry state of the company.
