This is regarding Car Loan taken from Kotak Mahindra Prime Limited, agreement No. CF 4482253. All the dues regarding the loan has been cleared and we have been contacting their Laxmi Nagar, Delhi, office and customer service over phone and email since long but these Kotak people are not issuing us the NOC, which is required to clear hypothication status from the registration of the vehicle.
First they said that we have to submit copy of RC of vehicle to them, so that they can process the NOC papers and send them to us and it will take 4 working days. We immediately couriered the RC and covering letter to their Laxmi Nagar Office. It is couriered by DTDC (consignment no V[protected] and delivered to them on 5-May-2011 with their company seal on delivery papers.
One Saurabh Chatterji called us on 06-May-2011 and said he has not received the courier (as mentioned above with company seal was there on delivery papers on 05-May-2011). Then next day, on 07-May-2011 when we called him he said he had received the courier (containing RC copy) and it will take another 2-3 days to issue NOC and delivering same to us. Then on 11-May-2011, when we inquired about it, Saurabh Chatterji said that he cannot read the numbers properly (which we have personally checked after taking the xerox copy and it was okay and legible). He suggested that we email scanned copy of RC to them at service.[protected]@kotak.com, which we have done immediately but now he is not picking up the phone. May be he must be getting ready to give another explanation to not issue us the NOC. Other phone lines of Kotak office, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi; either they are not picking up or if they pick they are saying that NOC issuing to customers is Saurabh Chatterji's department and they cannot help in this regard.
We are thinking something fishy about it because it is very simple procedure in other financial institutions. We have taken vehicle loans from others banks also and these procedures were very smooth. THIS SHOULD BE NOTED DOWN BY THE SENIOR OFFICIALS AND PROMOTERS OF KOTAK MAHINDERA PRIME LIMITED. If you cannot perform and give services to customers, sooner or later you will be in loss and out of this market. Please take this in positive way and sense for rectifying the mistakes and gain more future customer base.
Now, I would like to request to Mr. Saurabh Chatterji (ph.[protected] to pick up the phone and serve the customers. If you have any more excuse for not issuing the NOC, please tell us by calling us or picking up your own phone. We are soldiers by profession and ready to face anything and in any ways.
I have all the documents and papers ready to file a legal case against Kotak Mahindra Prime Ltd. if my request has not been acted on promptly.
