[Resolved]  Louis Quartz — duplicate product

I have got Luis Quartx watch through citi bank credit offer from AVA merchandising. The delivery was given to me on 29/01/2009 and after opening the package I wanted to adjest the time. I find that the needle does not move beyond a point and am not able to adjst the time.

After reading the above comments I feel that AVA merchandising is cheating the public. I do not find any name of any service agents or sales outlets in the enclosed booklet. The warranty car do not show any date of purchase, Sr. No. etc. How can I contact the service agents for rectifying the defect. Kindly help me.

There is no website of e-mail id also for contacting.

I am thankful to your complaints. Had I not gone through your comments, I would have booked the watch along with two more such items offered through ICICI bank. I think it's an organized venture to fool people around by the mechandising company and the agents of the banks. I think the Government should take a very strong step to put an end to all these. Whether any body does or not I am definitely going to complain to the concerned ministry against these banks.

Hi, Yesterday I got the Louis Quartz watch through ICICI Credit Card from AVA merchandise. When I received the watch there is was an International Guarantee Card which is totally blank. Even the watch is not working, I don't know why? I did a big mistake that I checked this website after ordering the Gift.

i have recieved a louis quartz watch in jetlite MRP Rs.3990, now even i feel maybe it is fake, its model number is T083, can anybody give some suggestions?

I have ICICI Bank credit card and got same offer of LOUIS QUARTZ of Rs 2990 /- for Rs 590/- only as shipping charges... but after going through all the posted comments I got surprised that now these companies are doing this kind of cheating with their own customers ... can we do complain against these fraud ... and to whom?

I received LOUIS QUARTZ offer thru ICICI Bank, offering it for free ( Rs. 590 'only' towards handling and delivery charges). Was curious on this brand and when googled it, stumbled on this site, full of issues against fake watches offered thru diff. banks. In this case too, culprit seems to be this dubious AVA (claiming to be 'The dream merchants' in their slogan). Thanks to all of you, I got to know the reality.
This company must be sued in the consumer court. Victims should organize and must file a common compaint.

One of my friend got the same offer for Louis Qurtz, and i was about to buy. Thanks to you all, because of you peopel I saved my Rs.500.

I also taken a louis quartz watch against SBI credit card offer. I am also having international guarantee card of 1 year for this wrist watch. That card does not contain any serial no. of watch, date of sale and service center.and also it does not have any email id or website or any contact number


what I have to do? ANY ONE CAN GUIDE ME

After citibank, standard charted bank, jetlite; it is the turn of MDLR airlines. I took a MDLR flight from Delhi to Goa and was presented a scratch card in which I got a LOUIS Quartz worth 3990. After going through all your reviews I also suspects it to be a fake watch. In fact I personally think that it is a fake one as no one can give something worth 3990 for free + Rs 500 for postage and handling charges.

I believe someone should take action against such fraud companies so that customers feel safe while transacting with these companies. Moreover action should also be taken against the participating companies so that nobody should ever try to do the same thing again

FYI, I received offer from ICICI card like I just need to pay 590/- towards handling charge and I can won the Louis Quartz watch. I felt something great and done the card payment for the same amount. Once I received the good then only I came to know the product which they mentioned is not so geniune. Even I gone through the Louis Quartz web site also and they too mentioned about this offer and product. Now I am really suspecting this Louis is fake company.

Now ABN AMRO has started the same thing...

i received the gift watch of LOUIS QUARTZ from let lite, which not contain any serial number and not given any warranty card from Let Lite at patna airport. Please check and revert soon. and take action of it.

thank god. i saw comments for such a fraud company. paramount flight is also offering the same watch for 599/- against handling charges.

Can we not join together and visit AVA office and raid them. Thier person gave me louis watch without any reciept as well as a spy pen without a reciept and any docs on the airport. It is now almost 1.5 months and no resolution.

Oops !!! I am too late. I bought the same watch for 599 for flying in paramount airways. As mentioned in this thread all that is present in the so claimed International warranty card is dust. Not sure of what to do now???
