I bought a 32" LCD television on 05/04/2008 (MDL SRL NO CQA1A[protected])from Harmony house Kolkata. I brought the same to Haldia where I am staying. After installation I observed that an audio signal is not appearing in a Japanese channel. I immediately lodged a complaint in Philips internet complains box and paralally I asked local Philips service centre for the same. The same signal is easily appearing in Sonly 32" LCD tv which is parallay connected with my cable line. This incident has checked and inspected by Phillips technical people . They have tried to upgrade their software but failed . They have changed my TV set but the problem not resolved. I asked philips to to give me a compensation, becuase philips is not advertising that they have a technical problem regarding frequency, but they are not providing me the same. I also mailed them several times for clearing this issue but they are ignoring the same.
Hence I Compel to lodge the complain in open forum.

PHILIPS / TELEVISION — WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NON RESPONSE OF COMPLAINT FOR REPAIR OF TELEVISION

I HAD LOGGED A COMPLAINT ON 12 TH OF OCTOBER AT AROUND 7.33 PM AT CUSTOMER CARE ON PHONE NO :[protected]CUSTOMER CARE) ABOUT THE TV NOT FUNCTIONING AS THE AV MODE IS NOT FUNCTIONING ONLY SOUND IS COMING.THE EXECUTIVE OVER THE PHONE HAD CONFIRMED THAT THE TECHNICIAN WILL VISIT WITHIN 48 HRS. EVER SINCE THAT TILL DATE 17TH OCTOBER NO RESPONSE HAD COME .FROM 14TH TO 17TH I HAD CALLED UP THE CUSTOMER CARE FOR THE SAME HAD HAD NOT GOT ANY DESIRED RESPONSE AS THEY SAY WE ARE LOOKING INTO THE MATTER.NOW I HAD THOUGHT OF CALLING THE LOCAL TECHNICIAN TO GET THE TV RECTIFIED AS I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE FALSE PROMISE OF PHILIPS SERVICE .THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME I HAD FACED PROBLEM WITH THE PHILIPS SERVICE CENTRE.I HAD GOT BAD EXPERIENCE PREVIOUSLY ALSO WITH THE MUSIC SYSTEM WHICH I PAID THEM APPROX 3000 RS FOR NOTHING AND IT WAS RECTIFIED BY A LOCAL TECNICIAN FOR RS 50.I DISPOSED OF THE SAME AND TOOK SONY MUSIC SYSTEM.I HAD ALSO POSTED THE COMPLAINT IN THE WEBSITE BUT HAD NOT GOT APPROPRIATE RESPONSE.EVEN THE CUSTOMER CARE HAD NOT BOTHER TO CALL US AND STATE THE STATUS.MY CALL NO IS 50570.I AM PLANNING TO SUE THEM AND LOGGEING A COMPLAINT IN CONSUMER FORUM .ALSO I AM SENDING, MY COMPLAINT TO FEW NEWS PAPER.I WANT TO TAKE THIS MATTER SERIOUSLY.MY COMPLAINT WITH THEM IS STILL OPEN.THIS IS THE WORST SERVICE I HAD RECEVIED FROM A COSUMER DURABLE COMPANY.I FEEL LIKE CLENING THE IDENTITY OF PHILIPS FROM INDIA

Since my above TV was not working properly (no picture display), after 15 days of making the complaint, your personnel came and collected the TV to repair at your workshop, under your above work order on 18th August 2008. However, I regret to inform you that despite two months have been elapsed, I have not heard anything further with regard to putting the TV back into normal working condition.

I shall be grateful if you could kindly let me know the exact status of the same per return.

Philips — FAULTY LCD SET & NO RESPONSE FROM SERVICE CENTER

I Purchase a PHILIPS LCD 26ta 2800 in November, 2007 within 3-4Months I came to know that there is fault in above Set, because sound in most of the Channels Intrupted. I lodge a complaint to PHILIPS SERVICE CENTRE, but they not responded, after reminding several times a person visited & WITHOUT EXAMINE THE LCD SET, advise that there is a fault in your cable line, so you contact your Cable operator & remove the fault, Cable operator visited, checked the entire cable line & informed us that there is no fault in our Cable line & you have to check your LCD Set, but we request them to change entire Cable Line, after changing the entire Cable line the fault is continued then I again contact to Philips Service Center on 14th August, 2008 vide complaint No. 3336, reminded on 26th August, 2008 & 9TH September, 2008 but no positive response recd. from their end, they informed me that there is fault of programming software in your set, presently we programming machine not available with us, we are waiting for that, they also not interested to lodge fresh complaint, every time they told us that there is no need to lodge fresh complaint earlier Complaint No. 3336 Dt. 14.08.2008 is sufficient & we are try to solve your problems, but till date we have not recd. any response from their end. As no response recd. from Service Centre I contacted Philips Customer Care on 20th October, 2008 & informed the entire matter, they assured us that your problem will solve within 48hours & register my complaint vide registration No. 31771 but no response recd. till 29th October, 2008. Again I reminded to Philips Customer Care (Telephone No.[protected] on 29th October, 2008 & they assured me that we directed the concerned person & your problem will solve within a day, But till today no one contacted.

So, you are requested to please look the matter & advise us regarding the above matter or replacement of faulty LCD set.

DVD philips — Digital display not working

Their W.O.No.23660No proper response for rectification and telling the philips company is not supplying parts to them Request immediate action for remedy to rectify the repair Awaiting for proper service

Phillips — LCD TV

I had bought an LCD TV on 06/03/2009 from Meerut UP & Log an call for wall Mounting installation & Demo of the product in gorakhpur. On 09/03/2009 The engg. from Local service center & gone with the commitment that he will come later with acessories for wall mounting. after some day when i call to call center for the some other issues like remote problem & current in cable inlet & status for old call, as per the call center executive the call was closed.

again the executive log the call & assured me for the services. From the 06 march i was called more than 6 times but still i dont get any resolution from philips. Can someone help me.
Customer should get the compensation in full by cash and purchase other brand lcd tv.
do you need my help ? i m the winner of case against philips india limited at mrtp commission.

Dear Sir,

We have purchased 2 LCD televisions from Vijay Sales dated 02/10/2007 for a Total Cost of Rs. 91900. One LCD is a 42 inch screen and the other is a 20 inch.

Whereas the 20 inch LCD is working fine, we have experienced a problem with the 42 inch LCD over the last 75 days which has not been redressed to our satisfaction to date.

Around the 1st February 2010 the 42 inch LCD lost the picture and went blank, even though the sound from the LCD was working fine. We got in touch with Mr. Dinesh Pol from the Philips service centre, who sent an engineer to repair it and then gave us an exhorbitant estimate of Rs. 27, 000 to complete the repairs since according to him the master circuit needed to be replaced. We then got in touch with Mr. Madaswamy, the regional manager of Philips for western India, who then reduced the amount for repairs to Rs. 15, 000. This was done on the 11/2/2010.

Then we were told that the master circuit was to come from the company and the same would be replaced and the LCD would then work fine. The master circuit was received on the 3/3/2010 (after waiting for 25 days), when the engineer came to fix it. However, with the new master circuit also the LCD did not work. Around the 9th March 2010 the LCD was collected and taken to the service center and we were promised that it would be repaired and returned in a weeks time. It is now 35 days since the LCD has been taken to the service center and 75 days since it has stopped functioning, but there is no resolution of our problem.

We have been without a TV for the last 75 days. The said LCD was purchased only 2 years back for an amount in excess of Rs. 90, 000 ( Bills have been sent to you earlier) and to have such a major problem within such a short time o[censored]sage definitely makes us doubt the quality and durability of this particular brand of Philips LCD, especially when we have other brand LCDs giving us a problem free run. It is not ethical that the company is charging us Rs. 15000 for repairs and is not being able to detect the exact problem and offering such delayed service. This clearly points to the fact that the problem with the LCD is unique and has arisen due to some faulty non durable parts at the time of manufacture.

We as a customer have been subjected to a substandard quality LCD, shoddy service and mental agony for the last 75 days. We had purchased Philips, thinking that it is a reputed brand and expected a quality and service to match the standards of other similar brands that are available in the market. However, we have been extremely disappointed with both the quality and service that we have received from the brand.

Having had to bear the brunt of this shoddy and delayed service and substandard quality, we do not feel it is ethical for the company to charge us a bill of Rs. 15, 000 for the repairs that the LCD is undergoing. On the contrary, looking at the unique nature of the fault that has arisen the company should offer a replacement for the said LCD, which within a short period of 2 years has stopped functioning.

We urge the company to immediately get in touch with us on our below mentioned numbers and redress our above problem at the company cost immediately, failing which we will be compelled to appeal to the consumer courts and make a pitch for the substandard quality and delayed service received from Philips.

I bought 32" LCD television from Hypercity Mall in Malad in Mumbai three years back with great expectations of a trouble free working for at least five years. But problem of no video signals started after two and half years. signals comes sometimes and then goes off. One month ago, the video signal stopped totally and only sound comes.I complained to Philips customer care Centre.They directed me to their authorised service provider, Micro Service.A mechanic came from Micro inspected the set and promised to get PCB to rectify the set. It is more than one month now and Micro has failed to do any meaningful service.Micro staff never provides any clear answer about when they can get the part and when the mechanic will come.
It is extremely disappointing that a reputed company like Philips has such a deplorable service provider.How is that Philips management is not monitoring the kind of services provided by Micro. I am intending to move Consumer Redressal Forum shortly as I am convinced that Micro will not be able to rectify the set now.
When I had trouble with my 32" LCD TV, it went blank in May'2010, and it going to be 2 months since I had sent it for repairs to Philips Authorised service centre M/s.Universal Cochin, I thought it is only an isolated incident. But reading all these complaints I have convinced myself that Philips is the worst company you can deal with regardig the product quality and service.
The service centre manager is blaming Phil;ips Cochin for not providing the required spare part for the last 2 months. Even I am in touch with the Philips Cochin boses for the last one month but now they had stopped taking the phone on seeing my phone number.They are not giving a clear picture of what is happening and why they are not able to provide the spare part. Almost 2 weeks before they assured me that the spare has already been despatched from Chennai by courier and it will take only 10 minutes to fix it but still the service centre is waiting for the spare part.

CROMA-Philips LCD — Make for a make replacement

Extremely poor services. I have bought Phillips LCD which was under extended warranty (EW) and failed technically within the EW period. I lodged a complaint on 8th Jan'11 however even after 4 months there is no resolution to the issue. CROMA has offered me to pick up another product as the LCD could not be repaired and the similar models are obsolete, however, they do have only one model of the specification I have looked for and bought earlier (100Hz LCD) and they are offering me a 50 Hz and that too of a inferior brand with no choice at all. I am kind of being forced to buy the product whatever is available on the CROMA shelf rather than looking at the quality that too when they are deducting approx 4500/- as their charges (not sure what the charges are for). It's been horrendous for being CROMA customer. Post my complaint I was the one to follow up than the CROMA EW team and I had more updates than the senior managers at the EW. I was the one to provide them the latest updates which should have been the other way round. I have spent unaccounted time and money but have not received a resolution till May'11 and I am still not sure when thisw apathy is going to end and I will be able to enjoy watching TV again (here as of now LCD and money both are with CROMA EW). Warning: Avoid being CROMA customer unless it's an extreme emergency.

Philips 42 inch LCD TV — No response from the service centre for a defective TV

dear Sir/ Madam,

After repeatedly having a conversation with Philips Service Centre there has been no respite to my problem and all the team has done team does is come up with vague offers and ideas which are not acceptable to me, just to bring to your notice that i am still paying for a TV that i have not been able to watch for over a year, and this whole communication has been going back and forth like a tennis ball and I don't see any outcome. This clearly shows the commitment towards the clients and all that the company boasts of about client relations is just a farce. The people in the service centre have no respect for an individuals hard earned money. I can sadly say that this was the most disappointing and distasteful experience in my mind
and the mental stress that I have gone through.

It would be of great help if you could help me with this mess and guide me to take things forward.

I hve purchased a philips lcd 82 cms. From croma dated 16/7/2009 wth a 2year extended warranty. Last year thre was a problem wth the tv's voice they told me tht the mother board is not workin g properly n we hve to replace it they took the t.v n got bak in 34 days n the t.v was in a really bad state wth the scratches on it now on the same day again the voice went off suddenly n wtagain i complained n agl cmeain they hve told me tht theee is smw problem wth sme another part n they hve taken the t.v n now it hfas been 15 dayn no sign of the t.v tht wen it will cme bak n wen i cal thy say tht they willal bak but no respfopnse till dat phie. Dear Madam/Sir,

Greetings!

I am writing to lodge a strong complaint and dissatisfaction over the
way we have been treated by Philips' authorized service center
(Ruchika Services, 1010-A, Harinagar, Ashram, New Delhi-110014). We
booked a complaint (number PDEL[protected]) with your toll free number on
January 8, 2014 about the non-functioning of our TV. Some one from the
service center inspected the TV on January 9, 2014 and took away the
chassis to center for repair.

Despite our reminders on daily basis, they have not rectified the
problem and kept the chassis with them. One day they sent back the chassis saying
that it could not be repaired. When we asked them to fix that in TV,
they refused to do so. My wife refused to sign the paper and talked to
the in-charge of the service center. He assured that the problem would be
rectified and took back the chassis. Since then they have not returned
the chassis also. Last Friday the in-charge of the service center
informed that the problem had been sorted out and he would send the
engineer next day to install the chassis in the TV. However, nobody has
come since then. They are not picking up our phone calls also.

We feel grossly harassed and cheated by the Philips authorized center.
Does Philip ensure no quality in appointing the right agencies as
service center who could extend quality services to the customers and do
not fool them. May I request you to intervene in this matter and ask
the service center to return my chassis if it cannot repair it. I am
hugely disappointed and shocked with this treatment coming from Philips
appointed service center.

May I request you to intervene and let me know if Philips can repair my
TV. If not, please do instruct the service center to return my chassis.

I purchased LCD TV (my mobile registered number is [protected])on 2012 November and and it was stop working on 20th April 2014, we raised the complaint against this concern on 24/4/14 (PBLR [protected]) after one week philips responded and sent one person from local dealer (Darshini Enterprises), that guy came and inspected my TV and he was confirmed that there is a problem with power supply board and that part has to replace and also he confirmed that part not available with them, and he assured that he will arrange the part 8 working days, one week completed and i called the person and we came on next day, he try to fix the part but he didn't and he found that it was a wrong part arrived, he took back the new part and along with the old my TV part. On the next day on Sunday he came early on the morning and he fixed.actually im in hurry on that time to attend the function, so i didn't noticed that new part fixed or not in my TV, because i have few things to prove that
01. He didn't opened any sealed packing
02. This part is not available from one week then how come he got the part on single night...?
03. He didn't handovered my old part.he supposed to give the part after the replacing with new part
04.he is in a hurry to get out of my home after fixing the part
05. He given the manual bill with cancelled complaint number and there is no computer generated bill for new part.
He collected 6000 bucks for the new part and service charges 800 rs

he clearly cheated me with the old repaired part, he collected the new part amount.so this is I'm not expected from PHILIPS dealers, if you not quickly responding to my concern of cheating, then i will go further like i will raise this concern to consumer forum and get the jobs done.

Because I'm working as a customer care manager in well known luxury brand car company.

I had placed a request for my old Philips LCD TV to be mounted on the wall. Cal no. was PKOL[protected]. But the technician Subrata Das who visited was extremely rude and when we said that we are not happy with the service as he used 4 small pieces of clamp which was not sealed pack, he became rude and spoke very badly with my father and said that he is taking out the clamp as he does not have time for all this discussion and demanded 800/- for his visit.When we asked him that why is this prices so much as this does not seem to be a company product as it was not sealed pack, he replied that its costly cos we placed a request on philips service centre. If we had contacted him directly, he would have charged only 200/-
When I spoke to the philips area manager through customer care no. as cust care connected me to mr chandan dasgupta, who instructed him to do the work properly, he took out the clamps from my wall and said that Chandan dasgupta will himself come and do the work.
Now my wall is damaged with 4 holes made on it and I had to go through a mental harassment because of the Philips technician as he misbehaved with my father who is a elderly person and created a situation where I had to waste my valuable time trying to get help from the customer care.
I demand an immediate action from Philips India.

    I had given my Philips music system for repairs to the Philips service centre located at main mata road, Guragaon on 17 Dec08. I was told that i will be informed of the fault and likely expenditure by 18 Dec evening. However after waiting for the same, I called up the center on 19 dec and was told that the system is being checked and I would be given a call within an hour. However no call came the whole day. I was given the same response when I called the next day, but again, no one called back. Finally, I went to the service center to find that they have not even opened my sysytem till then and were lying to me all this while about the system being checked.
    I was extremely dissappointed by this and took my system back. I subsequently lodged a complaint with The Philips custumer care no at Delhi. I recd a call from Mr Leon subsequently, who promised to get back to me after checking the details. However since then I have not recd any communication from Philips.

    It is really surprising and dissapointing to find such poor customer care from a company of Philips repute. Philips should take action against their gurgaon service center if they dont want their reputation to suffer.

    Philips Colur TV — Audio System not functioning

    For the last about three months I have been unsuccessfully trying to get my complaint redressed by M/s. Philips India Ltd. I purchsed a 21" Philips coulour TV in October 2005. (Model 21PT2125/94/M - Serial No. IL[protected]. It is under annual maintenance contract with the Philips Service Centre (Contract No. 214580 dated[protected].

    As soon as I noticed the defect (which was that the sound goes off in all channels when the decibel is a little higher) I rang up the Philips Customer Care Centre. I was assured that the defect would be rectified within 48 hours. Not satisfied with the service provided, in addition to caling the philips Customer Care several times (every time I was promised that the defect would be rectified within 48 hours!), I also sent e-mails to the customer care centre. I also sent emails to Mr. K. S. Raman, Philips Ombudsman. But so far the complaint has not been satisfactorily attended to. The complaint No. registered with the Philips Customer Care (Tel. No.[protected] and the number is 14933 dated 6th August 2007.

    I shall be grateful if through your forum I (an old man of 73 years whose only time-pass vocation is a tv set) get relief. As it is, it reminds me of the days of the silent films of the early cinema-era.

    i bought a 14 inch philips colour tv from the shop DIGITAL SHOPPY in bangalore.within warranty period the sound went off. when is requested the shop for warranty repair,they promised me that a technician from philips would arrive the next day.the service is so poor that the technician arrived one month later even on repated requests to the shop.the shop blamed the delay on the service centre.just two days after the technician repaired the tv,the problem reoccoured.i again requested the shop to contact philips for a technician but never arrived.so i decided to contact philips myself,this time the technician arrived after one week,the warranty period also expired and i was denied replacement or free service.this is the way philips is cheating its customers and delaying things so that they can escape replacement or free repair on defective products. the problem has reoccoured again and iam still expecting the technician who was supposed to arrived four days back but went away without repairing the tv with the excuse that he does not have service codes,and promised to come the next day.but no one has come till now..........

    Philips TV 29 Inches — Incompetent service centre and faulty product

    I had bought a Philips Tv of 29 inches in June 2007.
    On purchase of the Tv I noticed that while watching the TV , it would go of and on on its own. At first I thought it was the fluctuations in the electricity, but then I realised that it did not happen to the other two Tvs in the house. Starting Dec 2007, the Tv started increasing in volume to full volume while one was watching it on its own. I c0mplained to Philips service centre - Super A Services and the complaint was attended by Mustafa. Few days later the problem happned again, once again i complained and the probelm was attended by Mustafa. Then third time round it happned again and it was once again attended my Mustafa. The fourth time they decided to take my TV to the workshop and gave me a commtiment of returning the TV on a particular date. The Tv was taken from my house while I was at work and they picked up my new bed sheet ( because they were ill equipped to carry the Tv without damage - which incidentally should be taken care of when they are taking the TV with them). It cannot be my responsibility to ensure proper packingof the Tv when its in guarantee and their incompetent staff cannot fix it at home. Its a case of stealing from my house and also not returning my TV. This would have to be addressed with the police plus there should be a policy of durable companies that if they sell faulty products which calls for repairs more than three times in the guarantee period the product should be replaced

    It has been repeating quite no of time and same was repeated last month. I do not get my Credit card statements in time or some times do not get at all.

    Philips / DVD Player - DVP 320 — Repairing time is very high

    I had purchase the DVD player of Philips make model - DVP 320 but from last 3 years I had seen only 3 movies .
    3 times lens is change & lead time of repair is not known.

    LCD TV Philips — Rejection of loan and zero customer satisfaction

    Went to Reliance digital store in Ghaziabd on sunday 18th of May for purchasing 32" LCD Philips TV. Applied for loan which they sent to Citifinancial for process and they rejected it basis on my educational loan which ther say pendency of 12000 whereas in my statement from my Educational Loan Bank there is no pendency.

    Also the staff has taken photocopy of my Credit card and i am really not sure of whether they have taken the copy of both sides or not and i have already blocked it now.

    it's crazy and pathetic not just reliance digital but i had bad experience with Reliance money gosh they are just parasites to suck up the money from people.

    I purchased this VCD MP3 system and never worked properly the vcd gave lot of problem even in warranty period no amount of complaints was responded with favorable reply.
    The casette player also gives problem frequently the engineer reapairs and again the same problem persists .
    I have paid almost the cost of a new system.

    i neeraj kumar purchased dvd player of philips company 3 year ago dvd player is working very well but due only minor problem in that cleaning of head/lens etc i went to this company local service centre karnal haryana where two persons seating there they take dvd player from me i asked for the receipt they refused to give me that our company not provide any receipt they entered my dvd detail in register now i contacted yur local service centre at karnal many time s now authorised person mr, ajaib singh not dealing good me not giving my original dvd player in last i am complaing to thsi please lookkthe matter personaly i hope earliest response
    I rectified my Philips DVD in Philips Service Centre located in Tinsukia, Assam. He took Rs. 800/- (Appx.) for changing the supply and power circuit of the player (considering present cost of player is Rs. 3000/-). After 01 month of repair I am facing similar problems. Also the service centre refused to give me any bill of repair. Request intervene and suggest next step.

    Philips — TV not repair in 15 days

    I purchase a PHILIPS TV and I face some problem in 08.10.08 so I called to customer care and he commit me that, within 48 hrs It will be attended by mechnic and after that comment I called a lot (around 50 times) to PHILIPS customer care but they are giving me false commitment again by again but no one come to me and attend my problem, One day Mr Rajesh called me and saying me that today in between 5 to 7 anyone will be there and attend your problem so I take leave from my office but no one came to me. One day anyone called me and ask me to come within 15 minutes but no one come to me. In fact one call attendent was saying to me that our mechanic go to your home and you give the response that thare is no electricity power in my home, it was totally false statement, neither no one come to me nor I give any response like this because I have 24 hr backup in my hope. Still I am suffering a lot. The poor compony PHILIPS.Never I will purchase any PHILIPS product, in fact never i will suggest to purchase any PHILIPS product.

    Philips — MP3 player not getting detected on computer

    I have a Philips MP3 Player (Go Gear 4GB) which i purchased from Croma Mall, Solapur Highway, near Hadapsar, Pune. This MP3 Player is not getting connected to the computer now.I took it to the Authorised Service Center where they replaced the Player and gave me a new one after 1 month. unfortunately the new player has the same problem.I called up the service center and they say that they will send it for replacement again. I am not able to understand that why Philips is harassing its customers by selling Sub Standard products in the market?

    Philips LCD 42" — Delay in installation

    I completed all the formalities of the purchase on the morning of 27th of October for an LCD 42" for Rs.1lakh 25thousand and it was delivered on the 28th inspite of promises that it will be deliverd and installed the same day. Today it is 30th 3PM and still even after constant follow up i do not have a confirmed date when the installation is going to happen. Phones are inaccessable and response is very bad once you get through.

    i bought a philips gogear( model no. sa 2825/97) on 10/08/2008. within days i got complaint of getting stuck at the time of starting this device after which i wont switch off. i showed it to an authoriseed service centre wher they told they will replace it. i got the set replaced after 1 month. the new set had the same problem which i found on the second day of replacement. i took this to the authorised service centre where i am nw waiting to be replaced. after i bought this device i coudnt even use it for 1 month. i would like to have my money back so that i can buy one new device of some other company.
    I do agree. I have a mini phillishave and though i can buy a shaver every where i don't even get the blades where i was told that they will sell blades as well. (Lifestyle Bangalore). No one now knows where the blades are sold. This is a very bad customer service from Philips.

    I too had similar issues with the same model of phillips TV. The technician said that this is one model which phillips itself made and has stopped producing it now (i don't know for what reasons). I had this problem within 6 months of purchase. i ignored it initially because it wasn't happening that frequently. but after an year, the TV went off with no audio/video. We paid the phillips technician Rs800 to change an IC in the TV and within few days the problem reappears. I don't know what i should do with that TV:(. Will Phillips take any actions?

    Its a Matter of disgust that ICICI makes its SO CALLED valuable customers BEG and after payments have been clered from the credit card. I had ordered this set in JUly 2008 and till date i get BULL answers that the glasses will be delivered in 2 weeks and its PHILIPS OFFER and not gift 360.

    The offer does not say so and till date i did not get my GLASSES as promised .

    I also requested ...this atleast 50 times to the bangalore call center and it cost money as the TOLL FREE Nos just rings and you have to make STD phone calls and the story continues.

    Philips Monitor — harassment,unwilling to help

    i have a 17 inch philips monitor bought on 2005.the serial no is cx[protected]. the warranty period has expired.i am having some problems with it as the monitor is turning black and the brightness is fluctuating constantly, as a result i am unable to work.i had called the local service centre for servicing but i was told that servicing of monitors are done in the salt lake service centre only.so i had to call at the salt lake centre([protected]) for help.i was told that an engineer would be sent the next day.but noboday came.i called again and had the same result.in tha last 7 days i had to call at least 12 times with no result.the customer service rep also hung up the phone 3 times and misbehaved. i asked for the no. to complain as i had no other option.but ii was denied the no. so i am compelled to post an open complain here.
    Same with mine... My Go Gear (only within one week) could not start well, especially after I load mp3 almost to its full capacity... It's also slow in starting the program. Does Phillips have upgraded software ?

    I thought I was the only one facing this problem, As rightly pointed by others in the thread, this TV model is faulty. Inspite of repeated complaints there is no service either. The point is we do not even know the actual problem for a solution. This happened to my TV after about 6 months(purchased in Dec 2006) and is continuing till date. Please guide us on how this can be rectified. I guess Philips should be whipped for this.

    Philips / DVP1120 — Poor quality of product/ very poor service

    I purchased DVP 1120 on 29/3/2009 from Vishal Retail Ltd., Gurgaon and since I then I have not been able to run the system "properly" for even one day. This has been sent to the Philips Service Center - M/s Hitech Services, Gurgaon twice and both time it has come back without repaired properly. I requested Philips Customer Service through mails as well as over the phone for either replace it or return my hard earned money, but to my surprise nothing has been done till writing this letter.

    Philips — very careless

    I got a Philips Ironbox from viveks , chennai. The Power cord got melted in the next 2-3 months . I thought that ok, it is in warranty and gave it to the dealer. Philips service centre took three weeks to replace that small issue. But still waiting to get it hopefully.

    I am afraid if i would have bought a T.V. or Music system from Philips, it may take an year to set it right.

    I have made a complaint on the Philips toll free number 6 WEEKS AGO, & my problem is not yet solved!
    The intelli fill feature of my machine is not functioning. The technician who comes, says that he needs to change a part & will come back the next day with the replacement part. He does not turn up or phone again!
    When I phone Philips again, another technician arrives & again promises to bring the replacement part & does not show up again.
    This has happened week after week, for the last 6 weeks!
    I have even spoken to the Philips floor supervisor, Mr Asif, who promised to look into the matter & call back , but never did.
    I was given the service center number in Pune & spoke to the manager, Mr Pandurang. I spoke to him & he also promised to send the technician along with the spare part, but when the technician showed up the next day, he said he didn’t have the part & would have to get it the next day! Once again, he didn’t turn up or call again, & now Mr Pandurang has not been returning my calls!
    I am extremely disappointed in Philips service, in spite of making several phone calls to the Philips centre & the local service center. I would definitely hesitate to purchase another Philips product again after this experience.

    Philips Is Losing His Brand Name — Are the Philips Products / Service Center People are worthwhile?

    I have gone through all forums regarding the very poor Products/Service from the customer service centers through out the India.

    Actually i am in search to buy a new DVD player but after reading all these issues faced by most of the customers i am totally shocked about the poor service by the Philips and Quality less products and the Quality less spare parts.

    Why the products are getting for repair with in a short span of time.. are the cheap parts/products are dumped from china with less cost and selling for high prices in India...

    Or else gaining the most of money from the Service Centers due to poor sales of philips products because of not maintaing the Standard Quality.

    Does the service center people are worthful of solving the issues raised by customers, I think so NOOOOO bcz all are raising the finger on the service center people and also the products.

    I think Earlier it is Rough and Tough product to use. right now? it has become right and tough to judge or buy the Philips products.

    Indeed, the failure rat of DVD plyers is higher than many otherconsumer products. However I find the reliability of Philips DVD players much better than many others available in themarket. The same the case with the after sale sevice. With Philips we are sure the products will be repaired at least for 4 to 5 years while as many of the other models will have to be junked.
    My problem is also the same ... hp should find a way to dispatch all the gifts...

    i purchased a steam iron on 13th of 0ctober 2009. the piece is defected. we purchased it from big bazar situated at delhi gate, agra, uttar pradesh. we have gone throught a big problem because of this. the big bazar people were not ready to change the piece.

    We had purchased Philips Iron worth Rs. 850 on 25th May'09 from Croma Shop, Lower Parel Phoenix Mall,Mumbai.

    When we started to use the iron it was not getting heated properly. Inspite of this we kept on using and atlast it stopped working completely. We went to the Croma shop, customer care
    assured us that it would be repaired. After repairing and using it for few days it stopped working completely again.

    We again went to the Croma shop and now we asked for replacement, but they told us they can only
    repair it again and it cannot be replaced. Now its been more than 1 month and we have not got our

    I bought a top of the line Philips Blue Ray Home Theatre System HTS 8160B/51, and was given the assurance that 5 complimentary movies on Blue Ray Discs would be given alongwith it. Its been more than 2 weeks after the installation of the system at home, and that too after full payment, and still no sign of the discs. Neither is Digitus electronics in Sect-14, Gurgaon, (from where the system was purchased) giving the discs or the equivalent money, nor is Philips giving the same.     Philips TV 29" — My TV set down from last 3 months

    I Panchratan Rawal (Prashant) a Mumbai resident, have a Philips 29 " TV set. As there was some issues in the TV I logged a complaint with Philips on 8th Jan, 2010.
    I preferred calling Philips for the repair thinking I will get genuine parts and good service.
    The engineer visited from Philips service center to our place (Mira road) and took the complete circuit board saying some chip need to be replaced. Now it is three months we have not received the circuit board, I also escalated the case to Philips customer care but there is no follow-up from their side also.
    We have almost 8 products out of 10 of Philips but no after this i will really never trust the Philips after sales service.
    Its really worst.

    I have placed order an for PHILLIPS DVD PLAYERS OR SPEAKERS on 23rd of FEBUARY' 2010 and my order# is HD5958. Today is 22ND of APRIL '2010 and I have not received the my order. Whenever I try to contact them they give false commitments.Even after making so much call to them I haven't received the product But EXECUTIVE MR. PARMINDER, MR. GAURAV ( SR. EXEC), AR. RAVINDER & MISS. ASHA. HE/ SHE told me that the product is in a way & delivery 2 or 3 days. then i call again & tell me the same reason. Mr. gaurav told i'll give it to u reimbursment on late delivery of product. but no response during the day. i have paid 2 insatallment & pending 4. before five days i cancelled the order but order was not cancelled due to some reason. what reason i dont know. I tried to get the number from them but they never provided the courier company number.


    When I am asking to refund the money they are saying that it will take more than TWO month to refund the money so it would be better if you wait for the product. I do not understand it takes a minute for them to charge the money and it takes a month to refund the same money. I have paid my first installment to the bank but I haven't received the product.


    Please help me and provide me a solution!

    Philips LCD 42" — Noise from back unit of TV

    I bought a new LCD television 42" on 16th November 2009 from New Berco Electronics , Sector 10, Dwarka market and since January 2010 onwards I started noticing some continuous noise from TV every 2-3 hours and the same was reported to their call centre.

    Since then and till date (25th June 2010) my complaint has not been heard to level of satisfaction despite follow ups and many repeated registered complaints month on month and in fact TV was also sent for observation in April 2010 to their service centre which actually yielded to no results to the noticed problem.

    The service level of hired agency and also the customer service agents of Philips is pathetic with no follow up calls or information to client.

    Philips 29 " CTV — Adishwar store - Used Product Sold to me

    Hi,

    I had Purchased a TV 29" Philips make from Adishwar store last month on 27th June 2010, and i found that their was a scratch, and screen had a red color patch, i refused to take the piece but when the manager(Mr. Rajesh) promised me that he will get it replaced in 2 days time...

    Next Day there was the technical representative from Philips and he rectified the Red Patch on the screen, but for the scratch on the body he asked to get in touch with the Store, as even he agreed that it was the used piece and Stare has to replace the piece, from 29th June 2010 i have been visiting the store on weekly basis as when ever i meet the manager he says that we have already ordered for the fresh piece and its awaited...

    inocent customers are being made fool by these technicians at the cost of ,otherwise reputed company like PHILIPS.If there is a problem like a Fuse blown in one's Product and you are not techanically sound,the ASC Technicians convince you to get you Total part replaced on the plea that PHILIPS does not supply them individual components. One can imagine,in my case ,one FUSE costing not more than a Rupee made them to charge about Rs8000/-for thr whole SMPC BOARD. In addition,the way they handle your product is horrifying because they play and experiment with your PRODUCT which in turn is your

    Kodak Digital Camera, Philips Portable DVD Player — Refund after cancellation of the order

    I have purchased the above two products on 2nd Dec'10 the order has been cancelled on 3rd Dec '10 due to unavailability of products. Till today I didn't get the refund. and these people called up and informed that I'll get the refund at the same time they made me book another order REBOK kit for Rs.7000/- saying that I'll get the refund of previous amount of Rs. 16994/-
    My booking ID's are[protected],59,66 & 69 for refund the complaint no. is 730517 if I am not getting this refund by this month end I am sure I'll go to Consumer forum. The new id for recent product is[protected] on 23/01/2011. I feel these people are very clever and know how to cheat people.

Ltd. – 290 G T Road, Kaziapara More, Howrah – 711102 on date mentioned above. It was showing problems in some channels (sounds were coming abnormally later than the picture) . It was reported several times during last 3 months through the dealer and finally the Philips Service centre located Philips Service Centre at: 134/2 Mahendra Bhattacharjee Road, Howrah – 711104 (concerned persons Mr. R Mondal, Mr. Somnath De) took the set to their place on 8/11/2008 and was returned to us on 12/11/08 but with Scratch Mark / Rubbing on screen at Service Centre. Again it was complained on 12/11/08 vide complaint no. 4186. The service centre promised to solve the issue by taking it up with PHILIPS Company but till date matter remains unsolved. As you can see warranty period will expire very soon and Philips as a company should not avoid taking responsibility to rectify or replace the set.           I have bought Philips water purifier on 21Feb 09. Initailly it was working fine, but from last 10th of July 09, machine is not working, so we are not getting water.

          I talked to the customer care in the number [protected] for 3 to 4 time, but any action has not been taken yet. Now I feel so bad that why I went for philips instead o[censored]rekafobs.

          Can I expect any thing from Philips company or I need to go to consumer fourm.
          The Phillips company seems to concentrate only on sales and not on the customer care section as we have not been able to procure the replacement cartridge for the last 1 month and there seems to be no urgency on part of the company to see if the cartridges are available with their authorized agents or not.The best part is that the purifier stops after the filter cartridge has expired and there is no flow of water and how does the company explain the shortage of replacement cartridges for such a long time. There is only one authorized agent in the whole of Hyderabad and the staff does not know when the replacements are scheduled to come.Is there anyone in the company listening?????????
          We baught a Water Purifer in Oct 10 2007. Now Purifer is not working functionally water come as drop by drop. Light is also blinking. Our model number is WP3990. its a warranty period I register complaint in Ernakulam Office Complaint number is 1271. They told that the techinicians wiil come in Next week ie.15 sep 2009. Today also call Ernakulam Office but no respondse they dont take phone. Sometime it will ringinig and sometimes the number is busy. Please help me.
          I bought a Philips water purifier on 23-05-09, against JS no-JAsn[protected], reg. no.-123278. We are total 3 in my family. First filter changed on 08-10-09. Now it is down again. That means Rs 600/- in every 3 months. Think about it’s performance and circulate it to all.
          I would like to request to all future buyers of water purifier, they should think about performance not the price as I did. Please dont repeat my mistake. Even I dont know how much money I have to spend yearly to save my initial investment. Its totally "FALTU" product. Particularly in Durgapur, the sales counter they chose also a grandson of maharaja.
          Dont rely on Philips water purifier 3000 lit. story. Our average water consumption 10-12 lit/day, so monthly 360 lit. and 1080 lit. in 3 months. After that it is not working, so Rs.600/- for 1100 lit. That comes Rs.0.545/- per lit. of so called pure water.
          AGAIN THINK THEN AGAIN,
          I also have similar complaint. The Philips water purifier stopped working a year back. The service engineer couldn't repair it. Thus they gave me new piece. This new piece is also not working now. The service engineer came but thought that filter change will solve the problem. But there was nothing wrong with the filter. After that day he did not come back whenever we call they say sorry and we will send immediately but no one comes.

          All readers DO NOT BUY Philips water purifier. Who have already bought please throw it in garbage and buy the Aquaguard. Philips people are not worth trusting.

          Philips — non functioning of water purifier

          Sir,
          I am very unpleasant to sent you this complaint because I am several time ago also complaint to your customer care regarding non- functioning of the purifier. As earlier the co. is sent a representative to my address for the correction of the fault in the purifier and replaced the candle in the system. but only after two day the problem in purifier start again i.e not give proper water(purified water).then I again contact your customer care for the problem and they told me that they send their technical person to the may address to the very next day but on the next day the no representative is arrived at my address till date in due course I am several time contact customer care they always give promise to send their representative but all the complaint not heard properly and no person from the company is arived till date to my address. therefore I have to purchase the water from the market for my daily consumption further it is harm me finacially.

As per advise of the supplier i have given the set for the rectification of repair to ( Phillips Authorised service center ) Bharath Electronic Center, 3 West Perumal Maistry Street, Madurai-1 ( Tel. 2341535.) and their service job reference number is W.O.No.23660 dated[protected]. After twenty days time they are saying that the company is not supplying the needed parts for replacement of repair and asked me take back and advised me to contact the purchase place .                   I have bought Philips 42PFL9703/98 in October 2008. When I am comparing specifications of TV in the manual came with TV, they are not matching. What Should I do? Specifications not matching are
                  1) Computer formats as per manual --> 1980*1020, actually when I connect PC with TV on VGA port it does not go above 1024*768
                  2) Network/ethernet Port is mentioned in Manual, it is not available in TV.

                  When I complained company their service center, service head of Gujarat had visited my home and as per him we need to connect TV to computer on HDMI port and not VGA port. Specifications of HDMI and Computer formats are given separately even though he insisted that I should change connectivity. In manual no where it is mentioned that in VGA connectivity there will be limited resolutions and for better resolution connectivity needs to be changed.
                  I had contacted Philips customer care and they confirmed me that I should get 1980*1020 resolution on VGA connectivity. For the resolution of the problem they asked me to contact service head of the region. When I had updated them about my experience with their service head they asked sometime from me and spoken to service head. After that talk customer care has also started telling that TV will work with 1024*768 only.
                  I had asked philips about this on their website through mail, but no reply till now.

                  I had requested to give me in writing about their comments, till now no mail regarding the same.

                  Please advise what should be done?

                  The TV is perfectly capable of HD resolution - the issue is with the graphics card of your PC. The PC card does not support high resolution. You need to change the same.
                  VGA dosnt support that much resolution.
                  You have to connect it with a DVI cable, provided your PC have a video card with DVI output that support HD(Like NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT).The cable for connection is DVI to HDMI Cable.
                  A VGA Cable does not support HD - 1080P resolution. You either need a PC with DVI or HDMI output. This depends on the Video Card you are using in your PC.

                  LCD 2600 series TV out of service just a month after 1 year

                  Combi board out of service. Need replacement spare & service support.

                      This is to bring to your kind notice that the above mentioned model has been purchased on Dtd. 31st Dec.2007 from Badlapur (Dealer - Prathamesh Sales-Mr. Vilas Joshi) @ Rs. 7, 000/-. The same model started giving problem immediately after 6 months. In the month of July 2008, there was lens problem to the above model. I have registered a complaint at Philips's klyan service center & their service person has changed the lens, as the lens was damaged. Now, immediately after 2 months, the same model has started giving Audio problem. The Audio cassette is not at all running. I am fed up with these problems. I think the model must be deffective, as it has started giving problem in a year itself. Even after paying 7, 000 bugs we are not able to enjoy it.

                      After taking in to consideration the above problems, I am hereby requesting you to kindly replace this model with the Brand New fresh piece of Philips DVD. Secondly, after 2 months the warranty period is also going to get over and there is no guarentee that the model will not give any problem in future as it has already started giving problems in a warranty period itself. It will be highly appreaciable if you look into the matter and take the action immediately. Awaiting for your favourable reply. Philips people Mr. Satish Maurya, Mr. Asim and Mr. Madaswamy are not ready to give replacement. Its a kind request pls look in to the matter and give me back my consumer right. I will be grateful.

                        I purchased the high end model of this product WP 3893 for Rs.12, 000 about 25 days back and ever since i have been calling their call center in Delhi to come and install it. I live in Chennai and so they said the service
                        center in Chennai will come and install it the next day. I believed them because i have been a loyal customer of Philips and many of my home appliances are Philips products. To my surprise after calling them every single day for the last 20 days, no one from their chennai service center has come to my house and installed the water purifier. I am now considering if i should throw this piece of garbage out.

                        Everytime i call their call center in Delhi to speak with their manager they say hes busy on the phone. wonder what he does on the phone for so long???? His name is Mr. Mohan Pillai by the way.

                        I am writing this review with total disappointment and surprise that Philips being the "BIG" brand they are is treating its customers in India like we were beggars. This is the last time i am ever dealing with Philips cos i am never buying anything else from these guys. It scares me to know that if they could not come and install the water purifier, how on earth are they going to come and service it?

                        After repeatedly calling them they have now finally give me their service center head’s name and number in Chennai. They want me to do their job now. Apparently the service center head in chennai does not answer calls of the servcie center head in Delhi, so how on earth is he going to help me.

                        This is the worst service i have ever seen in my life from a company that boasts of its international image. I think they are really pathetic.

                        Please dont make the mistake of buying such an expensive product unless you plan to keep it in your showcase and not to purify water.

                        Hi this happened to me too. I bought a Philips make water purifier ( EN Water Purifier) . I got a SMS from Philips installation/service that a technician will install the purifier on 29th July, 2010 between 10.30 AM to 12 Noon. (I have waited because I am yet to live in this place and was waiting for the water purifier to be fitted before I move in) We waited at home and the techie did not arrive. I called several times and sent SMS to know when the techie is visiting. Aroung 6 PM the techie calls me and tells me that he is waiting at the property. There is no preintimation( though my contact number was given to the installation team). However after a long travel we reached the property and the installer says that he do not have proper material to install the purifier and I have to shell down Rs 100 to get the material and it tool an hour for the techie to get the material. I requested the techie that the installation should be proper and there should not be any leaks as we do not live in the house to monitor the same. The installation was done and the techie left. Now the real trouble started. The next morning we came to the property to see that the water was leaking from the installation and the house was full of water and the water seeped to the lower floors. The kitchen cabinets damaged, the walls were soked with water and the paint peeled off. I called [protected] and informed the emergency situation I am going through. The customer service initially dodged me by saying that there is no technician available and told me that that the repair will be done on Monday the 2nd July, 2010. As I expressed the emergency situation to the customer service they said that the repair will be done on Saturday around 12 noon. Till this time I wrote this complaint the techie did not visit and we are just throwing buckets of water from the floor and all around the house. We took photographs of the damages and contemplating to take legal action. I will never buy Philips appliance and suggest to check for proper and quality installation before you even think of buying such appliances. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

                          I bought Philps Water purifier in June. Last week, it did not switch on. We have repeated called the Call Centre[protected] but very poor response. Takes long time to reach them, even after reaching them, they repeatedly keep you on hold and do not give a proper response. It is now 5 days, this is not rectified, I am without water for 5 days. If you are thinking of buying this product, my recommendation is do not buy this. Abirami Appliance, Alwarper, the dealer refuses to deal with this.                           It happened for me when i purchased this product from Girias electronics, coimbatore. This dealer has an non-supportive attitude as like the philips customer care. Both the dealer and philps are never bothered about after sales support/service. You should forget about after sales service and you can be only happy until the product lifetime which can be only for 3 months after purchase. I would request not to but philips products and get into trouble for yourselves.

                          Dear Sir or Madam: The following complaint has been undertaken against both Philips India & their authorized service center Micro Services located in Goregaon, Mumbai. We had called Philips Customer Care to report a complaint of our Philips LCD not powering on. The call center dispatched a Mr. Rai, a technician from Micro Services to our residence. The technician took the TV apart and tried to repair it. While doing this he blew up our house fuse 3 times. Luckily we had a tripper so no other electrical component in the house was damaged prima facie (fingers crossed). I was shocked by such actions and told him to stop his experimentation. In the end he decided to take the power board with him for repairs. He said that 1-2 components on the power board will need replacing and he will charge Rs.780 (his service charge) + approx Rs. 300-400 per component that will be replaced. He came back after 3 days and installed the power board in the TV and the TV worked fine. Next he showed me the bill for the repairs and I was shocked to find that the total charge was now Rs.5600/-. I asked him how can the charges escalate by such variance for a Rs.25000 LCD, he merely replied that he has fitted a brand new power board as the one taken from our TV was totally dead!!. I was surprised when he said a new board as the power board he took out from his bag in front of me was wrapped in an old, torn plastic cover (I have retained this cover for my records) and on being asked why the brand new board was not in its Philips sealed box with original warranty and bill, he said that all parts come loose and the warranty is only 1 month (this was no where written on his Rs.5600/- bill, however I did notice that the bill mentioned "Goods sold once will not be taken back". All this happened after purchasing the brand new Philips 32" LCD from Croma and using for a mere 1.5 years!! I threatened to take the matter legally as my Dad is an Asst Commissioner of Police in Crime Branch Mumbai and I had secretly recorded the whole followup installation on a video camera in Full HD with stereo recording to boot!!. My question is that there are numerous online complaints on Philips power boards going bust within 1-2 years. They claim that their LCD's last 15 years. Well for me even a 5 years stress-free ownership would be heavenly with Philips. If these technicians know this why not remove the power boards and repair it professionally at the first instance to save on charges instead of trying their best to short-circuit it till their fuses blow out rendering it 'Rest in Peace'? We have an LG TV and VU LED in our bedrooms which were on at the time the technicians tripped the entire house into darkness 3 times. If those sets were damaged who pays the damages? Secondly, why not supply a brand new power board with a decent warranty and original Philips material supply bill? What is the guarantee that should the replacement power board (obviously old, recycled from an old second-hand set) blow out after 30 days who will help us and supply a new board free?? Thirdly, why give a non-original memo as bill and mention 'Goods once sold will not be taken back'?? We are simply fed up with Philips and their cronies. We are launching legal action against these characters and will seek compensation for damages due to the technician trying out his luck by shorting our house three times with no regard to the safety of my family (2 small kids present in the house at the time) or electrical appliances present in the house. The first time the TV shorted, he asked me to put the power on. Can you imagine the total disregard to human safety. Also trying to induce damage to the LCD by his adventurism and then presenting a hefty bill for an obviously recycled, second-hand spare part with a verbal 1-month warranty and a bill which read 'Goods once sold will not be taken back'. Therein lies the story. Luckily we are NRI's and after traveling the world we know our rights and we will be giving these people hell.                             hi,
                            I had purchased philips 2.1 sound system which has one woofer and two speakers two months before from DASS electronics, Pune, Hadapsar, state maharashtra country India.
                            within just one week after purchase it got adapter failure problem. Then i called care centre to get it repaired. I got my system after one week and then it was working properly. But now once again my system had same problem as before. Now once again i will have to wait for one week to get repaired. But even after repairing there is no guarrenty that system will work properly. So i have decided that i need my money back.

                              Sir,
                              I have purchased a CFL bulb from a shop situated at New Market, Keonjhar, Orissa, Pin No. 758001 on 27.11.2007. It was fused 2 days back. I had taken it to M/S Orissa Eletricals, Keonjhar to replace it as it is fused between the warrenty period.
                              M/S Orissa eletricals, Keonjhar is the wholeseller of Philips India limited's product. When I gave the bulb he verified the bulb & told me that it was not purchased from me, so I can't replace it because I have not get any profit from it. Then I told him it will be replaced any where in India as per the rule.So kindly replace the bulb. Then he argued with me & told me even if this bulb was purchased from his shop, it will not be replaced. Sir if I purchase a philips product from any shop at Keonjhar & after some years if the shop will be closed due to some reason, then who will give the service.The whole seller is refusing to give proper service.
                              Sir this is second time I am facing such problem. Due to this type of behaviour the sale of Philips product are decreasing day by dayin Keonjhar.

                              Sir, even I agree on that. I have purchased a PhilipsCFL at Bangalore and all of a sudden it stopped working with in the warranty period. The dealer claims that he has not sold it to me. Now a days no dealer is ready to give warranty for philips CFL. The answer you will get is that they has stopped dealing philps CFLs.
                              the Phillips company is actually a fraud money eating company i was also a dealer of Phillips company and we gave good service over here but suddenly they changed dealer without notifying us and than we objected them so they took back all stock and have kept our around Rs.800000 and are still not giving our money and it is more than 2 years or more and we have put a case against them in the court but the case has still not started and the company persons are taking date upon date to visit so please help us get our money back please help

                                I have purchsed philips food processor from reliance digital, ambiance mall branch, gurgaon on 02/10/08 & that day sales representative informed that next day demostration person will come at your home for product demostration.But till date no person from reliance/Philips have came for demostration.
                                I have given a numbers of call in reliance service centre but every time new persons are there for attending the call like Mr.Bhim/Mr. deepak Gupta/Memta . Every person promised that service Engineer will be at home on next day. But the next day never came.
                                I think reliance digital have worst service / No service I have experienced.

                                  I bought a bluetooth handsfree device one month ago, the next day only it found to be defective. I'd took that to the shop from where i bought it. The shop owner refused to take it back and replace it, but he asked me to go for Phlips service center for servicing of the device. I'd gone there, explaining my problem, they said me that the device is not servicable and you need to replace it from the shop from where you bought it. The shop owner now refusing to replace it. I paid Rs. 1887 for the device, which of no use to me.

                                    Buying major appliances like TVs is a decision based on customer's perceived image of the brand and prior experience of service, Some brands like philips are so well established in Indian psyche that lack of quality or service over years hardly appears to erode their image. It requires consistent disregard for the brand name to accomplish it as my experience with my 21" Philips TV-20PT1782- I bought some time ago, shows. From the beginning, It had consistent problems with psychedelic colors on screen repeatedly. It was fixed free of charge several times, during warranty period . Subsequently over the years I paid about 25 percent of the cost of TV periodically to get rid of the problem almost like a health insurance premium. Recently the authorized service centre said the tube had to be replaced at about 5000 rupees! I wanted to give Philips an opportunity to redeem their quality and service image and brand loyalty of customers. Which could have been easily redeemed, the price of a brand new TV of the same size is only about 7000, 50 percent less than what I paid for it. I have had Indian companies like Bajaj, Wipro and even ebay dealers jump at the opportunity I offered, for items years later. They perceived it as an opportunity to regain customer confidence. I am appalled that Philips despite repeated complaints to their highest level do not seem to be bothered about the product performance, service quality or maitaining loyal customer relations. Under the circumstances, May be the all potential and present philips customers should get beware and brand hop in search of better products and service?
