I visted Pizza Hut for dine in on the 8th of Jan 2009. My total bill for that dinner was Rs 619 which I payed through my debit card. One week later since my dinner at Pizza Hut, I was checking my account statement online. To my utter surprise I was charged twice the amount I had eaten for. My card had been swiped twice, which was clearly shown in my statement with two different transaction Ids.

I visited the same outlet the very next day to apprise them of the situation and to get my money back. But the staff is not capable to handle any such frauds or malfunctions. I feel completely cheated! They claim that it is a very common error and most people get a money reversal after 15 days of the transaction. It hasn't happend in my case though! No one has taken heed to go back to the accounts to resolve issues.
I want serious actions to be taken against such frauds and ideally get my money back!
