I have booked two tickets with one of the private transport agent on 19th Aug 2010.
The agent had communicated me about the bus brake down by that morning and asked me to board the alternate bus at 9.30 PM from the requested boarding point rather I have scheduled my travel at 10.30 PM.
But the Bus had come only at 11 PM and it was 1.30 hrs delayed.
Since it is spare bus, I have approached the bus attendant with my ticket and the information that I had with me. But the attendant told that it was not the one that I expected and left.
Immediately I called back the agent and informed. The agent replied me that you have to board the same bus, the one who dropped out me to board.
Subsequent arguments with the Agent, the agent agreed upon my arguement and agreed to reimburse my ticket fare. Now He is refusing me to pay back my money.
I am planning to go for Consumer court to teach such in discipline Operator.
Please guide me how to proceed.
