[Resolved]  Punjab National Bank, Anushaktinagar, Mumbai — dishonoured of cheque though there was sufficient fund

I have issued a cheque from my Punjab National Bank (PNB), Anushaktinagar, Mumbai, savings account to a person having his saving account in State Bank of India, BARC Branch, Mumbai. When his bank sent that cheque for collection to PNB, the cheque was dishonoured by PNB due to insufficien amount though there was sufficient amount in my account, but due to technical problem in their system autosweep FD did not credited back to my account. In view of the above SBI has charged Rs. 75/- from that person account, which ultimtely i had to bear. When I approached to PNB, they raised their hands not to help me in this reagard.

People tend to make mistakes. The person who makes this mistake should pay the fine. It is the bank which is the erring party. Therefore, the bank should reimburse the amount. Otherwise the bank can use this line to punish any one whom they do not like. I agree with you that the bank should refund your amount. It is we support the bank therefore it is our right to demand the refund. You are right. Fight for it.
I have my account open at PNB anushakti nagar,
Since now I am not staying in mumbai, so I want to
close the account. What should I do for this ?

Sir my self waseem.mera accunt PNB Lucknnw(u p)me hai.mai ish time mumbai me hu.mai apne ATM KA paaswd bhool gaya hu.mai ne mumbai me pnb andhrg west near shopper stop mumbai ke branch me new paaswd ke liye apply kiya tha jo dene ke liye mana kar rahe hai.mere baat pnb curtmer care se hue the jo kah rahe the aap kise bhi pnb se naya paaswd le sakte ho, ...plz help me

I SREE KUMAR KESAVAN NAIR KULENGARA IS A HOLDER OF SB ACCOUNT [protected] AT PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK E/C BUREAU OF SAILORS, CHEETAH CAMP MANKHURD, MUMBAI 400 088 THROUGH PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK ANUSAKTI NAGAR, MUMBAI SINCE FEB 2007 . PRESENTLY MY ATM CARD HAS MISPLACED IN TRANSIT IN OCT0 09 AND HENCE I HAD LODGED A COMPLAINT TO PNB MANKHURD BANK FOR BLOCKING OF ATM AND ISSUE OF FRESH ATM CARD TILLL NOW NO ACTION HAS BEEN INITIATED FROM BANK, THEREFORE, NOW I REQUEST YOUR GOOD OFFICE TO ISSUE FRESH ATM CARD TO ME THE ADDRWESS AS HELD AT BANK AT MANKHURD.
