[Resolved]  Regional Passport Office, Kolkata — Passport Not Received

I have not received my passport, the police enquiry was held in the month of April 2012, my passport application file Number is CAL A-129081/11, in the status enquiry report displayed as "police report has not been received".

Subject :- Prayer for correction in passport of Jafarulla shekh passport no k0488813.

Dear sir,

With due respect and with above mentioned subject, I would like to bring to your kind information that, I Jafarulla Shekh applied for international passport in april 2012 along with hajj package. But I got information from net that my passport has issued on 26.04.2012 from regional office kolkata . There are some spelling mistake in place of my issued passport . My good name is “JAFARULLA SHEKH” the word “A” will deleted from the printed word “SHEKA” and “H” will be on that place.

1. Issued passport contained only one year validity and only for Saudi Arabia for hajj purpose . But I have applied for ten years validity and also for all countries as international passport along with hajj purpose but I could not receive my passport till the date and period to apply for hajj 2012 has already been expired.

2. I have many relatives in abroad and also for hajj and umrah and to travel many places of pilgrimage in other countries. I therefore request you to look into the above facts and say to your good office to make correction in my international passport as mention in my application form, Otherwise my issued passport shall be useless for me, please take necessary action, I shall highly thankfull for this.

Same problem with me... delay of passport I applied on august 8th 2012 till now not getting any status and response from them... its really unbearable...

Dear sir,

I am 71 years old widow visited in your office at Regional passport office, Brabourne Road, Kolkata 700001 one month back and waiting in a long queue for 2 hours to get my passport.The officials assured me but I have not yet received the same. I have submitted all the papers to your office on 07/07/2012 and police verification formalities has been completed on 05/09/2012 . Please look into the matter so that I can get my passport at the earliest.

I applied for a new passport through the RPO Kolkata on 18/02/2013. My police verification was done in first week of April, 2013. When I tried to check my status of my passport process, I cannot get through, it tells me my file number is not proper. My application receipt no. Is 22568 and it gives another number which says "letter No.CAO/W/[protected]. Please help me access my status of my passport.

20/11/2013 my 1st passport verification was done in BERHAMPORE PASSPORT
SEVA KENDRA.And before one month police verification was also done.Today
i checked my passport status and i knew that my passport is pending for
printing.From last few days still i saw the status is same.
i wanted to make my passport for going other country by
my University's Scholarship.Today i informed by my Department that i got
a Scholarship for going to JAPAN.My Department said to submit my
passport within 16th march for visa.But still now i could not receive my
passport.
I want request you that please send my passport as soon as possible.

Regional Passport Office, Kolkata - Passport Not Received
Dear Sir,
I have applied for my Fresh passport on 08/08/2012, and received the same by Kolkata regional passport office on 08/08/2012. My
File no-CA[protected], Token no- N 378, Batch no- 19, Sequence no- 9, I have been paid Fee of Rs/- 1000/-, in Counter no- 16, & Fee receipt no is -CA 2F[protected] on dated 08.08.12. Police verification was completed on 20.10.12, and since last two years I have flow up the matter and every time I have been assured by the Pass port enquiry office that within some days I have receive my pass port.But it is regret to say that after so many years seeing the status in the inter net as "police verification is not clear & application is under review at Regional Pass port office."
Sir may I know how many years it will take time to review the same?
Kindly do something and oblige me.

its more than 20 Days, and more than 1 months that the police
verification was done. Still i have not received my passport. I need
it for official purpose immediately.

I would be highly obliged if you could consider my case and help me to
get my Passport at the earliest.
