I bought 2 lts of Amul Lassi at a promotional rate today from the outlet located at haji Ali. After coming home I discovered that today was also the last day of expiry of the product.
I am shocked.Are they expecting me to consume 2 lts of lassi in one evening? Or is it my responsibility to check the mfd date on each and every product that i purchase.

True. Same experience in Bangalore too regarding billing in MRP against the shelf display price which is less. Unethical business and cheating customers using their trust and faith. Ambanis should look into this matter. Maybe you can report to MRTPC department of GoI.

I experienced similar situation in Bangalore. When I checked with them as to why they had billed twice for the same product, the staff went overboard by saying that I had purchased two products and hence the billing had been done twice. When I insisted on checking on the bar code of the products, surprisingly, all the products under that brand had the same bar code !
Instead of accepting their mistake, the entire staff in union gathered to shelter the person who had made the mistake. There is no inch of honesty in the staff; least expected from them is acceptance of their mistake, which definitely did not happen.

I am surprised at the apathetic attitude of the staff of Reliance Fresh store (Bhosalenagar, Pune) and their uncaring attitude towards environmental awareness.
Below are the facts of the case:
I am a regular customer and last visited the above store on Saturday Mar 22.
- During my visit, I informed the staff that I have accumulated many plastic bags of the store through my previous purchases at the same Reliance Fresh store. I offered to send the same back to the store- for recycling / re-use since they were in perfect conditon. The person at the counter agreed.
- Accordingly, I sent my servant with the plastic bags in the same afternoon.
- When she reached the store, a Reliance Fresh employee accosted her at the entrance. She was humiliated and barred from entering the store. In addition, the employee also refused to accept the bags and asked the servant to "Throw it in the garbage can for all we care" and also humiliated the old lady.
Even after the lady servant repeatedly explained that these were being returned to the store after prior agreement, the staff continued his attitude and threw her out of the store.
I would like to share this incident:
- It reflects a very callous attitude towards the disadvantaged persons.
- It reflects an uncaring attitude towards customers and total lack of etiquettes / customer friendliness.
- It reflects uncoordinated responses within the store and total lack of environmental concern.

i paid my reliance mobile bill of rs.2597at reliance fresh bhiwandi on 27th by cash but it is not been credited against by bill yet .
I purchased a belt from reliance retail shop from Pottamal, calicut for Rs.99/- and it torn of within 2 weeks.Icontacted the shop manager Mr.hariharan unni

i too agree with you all that relianceFresh outlets are cheating the people all over india.

Now today as on 06/04/2008, i asked to redeem my points they gave me a Rs.95 loyalty (as they say ) Voucher and told that i have only 139 points.
But, i am sure that points of my card were above 300 because i have spent the money on shopping.
while i asked that where can i check my points details they refused straight and said " we have a lot of work to do, we dont' have enough time for all this"

My wife wanted Dhania & Pudina Leaves, and as we were near the Relaince Fresh store I said I'll just cut across the street and buy them. She just stopped me with a scream, saying anywhere else but at Reliance Fresh. But I thought she was was not fair. So I just dropped into the store at the Koramangala Store[ B'lore ]. To my horror I found them to be like those which are thrown away by the street or mandi vendors, when they stack them. I immediately took some snaps with my cell-phone to send to Reliance HQ; but there is no place to register the complaint. Well its a matter of time when they going to close down this operation after spending Crores of Shareholders money...and if it was a software boo boo we would hv said its the Bubble-burst...this is why the bubbles burst...when there's no value addition and callous attitude to customer & service...I thought some great person said "Customer is God "...yes b'coz he takes all the blasphemy and still keeps quite...

Your store @ Vijaya Bank Layout which has been opened recently, is being managed horribly I remember fresh @ which was @ Himayath Nagar Hyd where customers were treated greatly. Where for everything the customers has to ask for everything even the free gifts on the products they buy, i beleive most of them are not trained hands & they make customers go rounds of the store for just the free gift which they said that it is yet to cum from the warehouse. The Product is Tropicana fruit juice for which the Co. had offered some special they dint even bother when we were buying the juice inspite of our repeated only after bill was done & when i we insisted some boy came & told that it was not there. This might be a small thing but that was not the way to be handled, even though so many offers would be displayed around the store the boys do not give the freegifts till the customer asks for. I know fresh in Hyd & ie why we went to this store assuming it to be the same, & we regret having done this. I think atleast 1 Snr should be there who knows the seriousness of the retail industry. Hope to see some change.

Today afternoon 2.30 i went to Reliance Fresh (No:20/4/1&2 North Usman Road, T.Nagar, Chennai-17. Ph:[protected] for purchasing baby sipper. But they kept there already used sipper.If i asked about that they didnt reply properly.Since they concentrated in own chat.I makes the Name Relience make it ashamed.Then the billing girl gave the damaged 100Rs. I asked to change that note. But she told roughly that she cant open the draw. She was laughing and commenting about that to others.There is nothing to comment and laugh for this.What manners is this? First Reliance Fresh Management should teach about the manners to their employees.

Shows how callous and unattentive the Trading Standards office is in India. Shame on the judiciary and retail system in India. How can this country be called progressive when such big shots play foul openly and no one is there to check it. What is the all-so-power MEDIA doing to cover such aspects. No sting operation yet!! Probably so, because they dont expect to make big bucks on such coverage. Call it narrow minded/selfish journalism ot whatever.

i fully agree with this complaint and have same experiance at reliance store in old bowenpally, sec'bad-500009. AND my complaint was not taken care off and the same thing is going on.I THINK ITS HIGH TIME WE SHOULD BE MORE CAUTOUS AND TAKE ACTION AGAINT RELIANCE FRESH COSTUMER CARE SERVISE.
