I withdrawn cash Rs.4000/- from SBI ATM, Mothinagar, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh on 03/10/2008.
I opened my account statement using internet on 04/10/2008. I surprised. In my account statement twice debited with Rs.4000/- each with the same transaction number. but I withdrawn and collected only 4000/-. I given complant to my SBI Branch Manager. but till date (13/10/2008) they did not credit Rs.4000/- in may account.

My saving bank account no. is [protected] at rajender nagar branch ghaziabad up. i tried to withdrawl Rs.7000/- on dt.26/12/2008 from the atm of sbi at seemapuri near about 7 pm but the cash not recd by me & the such amount deducted from my oversaid account regarding the same i inform to my branch in writing & the seemapuri branch both but the said case is still pending. so concerned auuthority requested to look into the matter & arrange to credit the same in my sb account immediately

I went to concerned sbi accounting branch as well as in sbbj branch where atm located but nobody was there to any respond, due to saturday being half day.Please look in to the matter and arrange to credit Rs.4000/-
in my saving bank account of sbi mentioned above.

On 20/04/2009, I went to SBI ATM (Opposite to Shoppers stop, Andheri (W)) to withdraw some amount. I was needed Rs. 40000/-, so I decided to get it in two parts. In first part I choose Rs.25000/- & gave the instructions to dispense Rs.25000/- and I got Rs 25000/-. In the second part I choose Rs.15000/- & gave the instruction to dispense Rs.15000/, but I didn't get. A message that flashed on the screen was “Cash can't be dispensed" & I didn't get my money. After that I checked my balance, and then it showed that my account was debited by (Rs.25000 + Rs.15000). That is I got only Rs.25000/- but didn’t get Rs.15000/-, and my account was debited by Rs.40000/- instead of Rs.25000/- . Also there were two different quotes for both transactions (for Rs.25000/- & for Rs.15000/-). For Rs.25000/-, it was ATM-WDL, & for Rs.15000/- it was CSH-WDL. After completion of the transactions I waited outside the ATM for 1-2 hours, but nothing happened. Again I checked my balance, but it was useless. After that I returned.
The next morning (21st April, 2009) I went to withdraw money from the YES bank ATM, near TATA Compound, IRLA, Andheri (W).I was needed Rs.22000/-. So first I gave instructions to dispense cash Rs.15000/- & I got the cash. For 2nd transaction I gave instructions to dispense cash Rs.7000/- but I didn’t get. There was a message that flashed on screen was “your Time is out so transaction is not completed” & I didn’t get the money. Again I inserted my ATM to withdraw the amount & mentioned the same amount & followed the same procedure. This time I got my money. While checking the account balance in YES Bank ATM it was showing “0” balance, so I decided to check my account balance later on. After 2-3 hours I visited a nearby SBI ATM centre & checked the balance. I was surprised that the amount Rs.7000/- was deducted 2 times instead of 1. That is from YES BANK ATM I withdrew Rs.22000/- only, but my account balance was debited by Rs.29000/-.

Till now my Account has not been credited. So, I request the concerned person to please help me & credit the said amount (Rs.22000/-) into my account (SBI-Account number- [protected]). For this I will always be grateful to you.

In reference to the above reference I would like to inform you that, from SBI ATM Card I want to withdrawl from ICICI ATM Located at Mahabir Mandir, Orderly Bazar, Varanasi (UP), I have given option of 15, 000/ Rs. ( Fifteen Thousand ). But I have not received any amount from ICICI ATM, and slip come out unable to process and amount was debit 15, 000/Rs.(Fifteen Thousand) from my account.
2. Therefore I request you take necessary action to provide my short of Rs.15, 000/. Because I am runing at SBI Bank and ICICI Bank from last two month the SBI bank is telling ICICI bank will do and ICICI Bank is telling SBI Bank will do. I have also logged complaint in My parent Bank i.e. SBI Chakrata, Dehradun (Uttrakhand) but no reply have not yet been recd from there on this matter.

3. It is also intimated that as per existing rules directed by Reserve Bank of India, if amount not recovered within 12 days the drawee bank will pay extra Rs 100 daily for this lapse.

My freind from Ranchi transfered Rs. 20, 000=00 on 17.07.2009 in my account no.[protected] and informed me to get confirmed it on 2 or 3 days later. On 01.08.2009 when I got mini statement by using ATM Card for confirmation of the same, I found that Rs. 6, 000=00, Rs.3, 000=00 & Rs.6, 000=00 total Rs. 15, 000=00 have already been withdrawn from the said account on 22.07.2009, 27.07.2009 & 30.07.2009 respectively that too from ATM. Is it possible that without using my ATM Card someone can withdraw money from the account by using PIN only, if any how known to him.

Sir, Yesterday on 03-11-09 at 23:56 I tried to withdraw Rs: 5000/- from our HPCL Mumbai Refinery ATM centre.The same amount is debited from my saving account, but I received only Rs-4500/-(8-Rs-500 notes & 5-100 Rs notes).One Rs-500 note I received Less.So please check in the same ATM centre, because of some mistake it must have happened.So if you get it in checking that day statement so please deposit in my saving account.

I would like to inform you that, I have done some withdrawal from Corp Bank ATM on 13/10/2009 at 21:47, but I did not receive the amount of Rs. 3000/- from the machine, instead it has been debited to my account. (see attached ATM slip and bank transaction details) for your quick reference.



Since I did not receive the amount from the ATM machine the amount has to credit back to my account mentioned above.



I have already lodged a written complaint to my branch (Bommanhalli branch) office on 15/10/2009 (see attached copy). Till today the amount is not credited back to my account and it is really worrying me.

I complained on 17/01/10 for atm debiting of RS 5000 witout reciving money from atm.

On 31st of January I try to withdraw 10000 Rs. from SBI ATM. It is in near to Burdwan Railway Station.
I just entered two digit of my password and ATM machine got hang. And after that I received a message that 10000 Rs. was deducting from your A/C.

So, my question is if I not geting one single rupees from the ATM then why money was deducting from my A/C.

If this is the matter then I have to go to Consumer Court.Because SBI told that was a valid transaction.

i have used my atm-cum-debit card[protected] of state bank of india, nuclear fuel complex, hyderabad at icici atm, ecil cross road, hyderabad on 03.04.2010 at about 19.00-21.00 hrs for withdrawl of Rs.400/-. Unfortunately no cash delevered by that atm mechine and no slips too. the monitor showed as error in machine. but in my account no [protected] was debited by the same amount.

i enquired at ICICI bant at asrao nagar branch today evening. they replied to give a compliant at SBI, nfc branch. please do the needful and kindly credit my amount rs.400/- urgently.

I have used by ATM card on Date12.03.2010 and Time is 7.44 pm in coimbatore annastatue ATM Centre, I was put in the amount of Rs.3000, My Transaction number is 8138 but I has been not taken my

I went to SBBJ ATM in Bharatpur ( Near of regional office, circular road) to withdraw Rs 10000 using my PNB ATM card on 8-3-2010. No cash came out of the machine and also no transaction slip came out stating that the transaction failed. On the very next day I came to know that Rs 10000 was deducted from my PNB account. I reported it to the bank on that day. PNB could not pay the money back to my account. Because this amount was deducted by SBI ATM, the machine was not working properly on above day. Appropriate steps should be taken against this. The above ATM machine is under SBBJ COLLECTRATE BRANCH, BHARATPUR. The staff of both bank bank reacting very rudely, nobody is taking this matter seriously. I really need help to get my money back.

SBI ATM — cash didn't come

I am (seema pattnaik A/C no.[protected], icici/kharvel nagar/bbsr, ) here by stating my problem that on 4th April 2010 i went to SBI ATM booth at KIIT to draw Rs.5000.Due to machine fault i did not take any money and even i did receive the slip of machine decline but i just throw it out.Then again i have done another transaction and i get the right amount of money i.e Rs.5000.But on the mini statement i came to know that the previouc Rs.5000 has been deducted from my account.Then i complained at ICICI bank on 8th april.But on 20th april i came to know that the SBI people said,i have deducted twice though it is false.On the same night i again released my mini statemenent from ICICI ATM and it shows that i transacted twice.
Hence i request you to take proper action as early as possible.the details are given below

Dear sir,
I withdrew an amount of Rs. 20, 000/- from SBI ATM, Silpukhuri, Guwahati on 17.04.2010 at 11:27 hr. I tried to withdraw an additional amount of Rs. 20, 000/ on the same day after an hour, as my mother was admitted at ICU, Nemcare Hospital. But the machine failed to deliver the amount even after trying for 7/8 times. Last the machine showed that maximun limit is reached. I was surprised as maximum Lt. for a day is 40, 000/- and i withdrew Rs. 20, 000/- only. On making balance enquiry to my utter surprise I found that 40, 000/- had been debitted from my account, whereas i withdrew only Rs. 20, 000/- I immediately lodged complaint to Rangiya Branch (Assam), where I have my saving actt . More than one month gone. Neither ATM authority Nor Bank Authority could do anything positive so that i may get back the lost amount. Whenever i meet or talk to ATM authority of Rangiya their explanation seems to be fruitles. Finding no other alternative i am posting complint here so that some knowledgable authority may take least effort so that lost money may be recovered, the error being committed by machine, and i am let to suffer. It will be not out of place to let u know that in the mean time my mother had expired and that Rs. 20, 000/- could not be utilized for her last treatment
So Please do some thing so that i can have a little consolation by recovering that lost 20, 000/-

I wanted to withdraw a cash of Rs.5000/- from HDFC ATM located at RING ROAD LAJPAT NAGAR-IV NEW DELHI-24 and accordingly I had done the entry process for
withdrawal. However, the ATM machine has not been deliver the cash and showed (time out and please collect your card) so i did one more transaction of 5000/rs- and still i can’t get the money but the mini statement showed the deduction of an amount 5000/-rs. on the day 09 sept 2010 at around 2:30pm and but by difference of 1 min
approximately, I contact the HDFC Bank immediately as the Atm don’t have the helpline he asked me to contact my own bank in this regard. I
contact to SBI customer care no [protected] and he advised to check my
account after 24 hours, but i couldn’t get the amount back to my
saving account.but still i didn't get the money back..
So, kindly help me to get the amount back to my saving account.

Sir, Myself Tapas Kumar Mukherjee, A/c No [protected](originally SBI main branch Ranchi is the base bank) moved to United Bank of India, Kalitala Branch(ATM 02300) on 18th August 2010 to withdraw Rs 3000.In the vfirst time the machine did not respond and a slip came out depicted no transaction, so I inserted the card 2nd time and I obtained Rs 3000.Now through my on line bank statement, I found that the money debited as Rs 3000+Rs 3000.The statement is like this as mentioned below.

I have ATM Card bearing machine No[protected] of state bank of India Mashila branch situated Andul, Howrah. On 03 Feb 2011, I withdrawal of Rs.15, 000/-vide ATM Token No TXN 9538 on same day. Due some mechanism fault/Net problem of this ATM machine, I got Rs 9500/- out of Rs 15000/-. Immediately I informed to my nearest SBI Branch (SBI-Mashila, Code No 8556). But one and half month past, the balance amount Rs 5500/- not yet been received till date.

Sir, it is intimated that I have logged complained all the necessary SBI Branches but no action has been taken till date to credit the amt. I have also written complain to SBI Mashila, Code No 8556 (which I have saving account) but they told me that we can, t do anything regarding this matter, you may liaise with SBI Howrah (main branch)to inform the above facts. Dye to illness, I telephonically discussed with ATM Manager of SBI Howrah (Main Branch) but they have also refused to credit the amount. Therefore, you are requested to please advised me what to do & how to get my money.

. Kindly credit Rs. 5500/- soon as possible. I am really suffering some financial hardship due to the above facts.

The ATM machine of State bank of India, Shillong, Meghalaya . are not working last five days, the Cash are not available in the ATM machine, in various part of the city, after telephonic lodged complained to the concerned persons it has not taken any action in this matter,

I am B.Lakshmi Rajyam, there is a problem during my ATM money transaction at Guntur. I have not received money during transaction but Rs.20000/ was debited from my account.Full details are given below.
On 28 June 2012, I need to withdraw amount of Rs20000 so myself and my husband went to the ATM at Jinna-tower center-GUNTUR and there are two ATM s in that room. Then we went to one ATM (S10O[protected] and checked for mini statement (Txn No: 9409). After that he punched for Rs.20000, then no amount, no slip has come from this ATM. Then we went to next ATM (S10A[protected] in that same room and punched for Rs.20000. Here also no amount and no slip has come and one lady (who did transaction before us) told me that in this particular ATM, at a time Rs.20000 will not come so you try for Rs.10000 or 15000 in single transaction. Then my husband punched for Rs.10000 then there is a comment on display that this much amount is not there in my account and no slip came this time also. we kept on tried for 2 more times and same display came. I checked during my next person transaction and he punched some amount and got the same, no excess amount has come to him. After 5min there is power cut inside ATM room. We were standing there only, then one SBI official came to ATM with empty hands and went inside ATM room. Security person has closed the shutter asking all o[censored]s to come out. This that official was there inside for 10min and came out with free hands (during this time there is no power in ATM room). We told him about our problem, then he replied that if your amount is debited mistakenly then it will be credited in one hour time and he suggested to go and check our balance at other ATM where power is available and give a complaint at Nagaram palem SBI Branch GUNTUR. Then based on the ATM security person & official suggestion I went to some other center ATM and checked for balance and found that Rs.20000 is debited from my Account. After that complained at GUNTUR Nagaram palem branch & REPUDI bank(home branch) also. After 10days we met Guntur –Nagaram palem branch people and they said that no error code is seen in transaction, so 20000/- was withdrawn from ATM and we are closing the complaint. But I have not received any amount &slip from ATM. Please help me.
Later Repudi branch manager also told that reply has come and no error in transaction and amount was withdrawn from ATM (second ATM ID: S10A[protected] in that same room with transaction No.1870, (here only I was told after my first unsuccessful transaction that more than Rs.15000 will not come in this ATM. Then as explained above I tried two times for Rs10000 but display came saying try for less amount)). It is impossible as we are waiting at that ATM for around 15min after transaction and no malpractice has happened. I am using the Debit cards from long period, never happened this kind of problem. I have not withdrawn amount from ATM IDs. S10A[protected] or S10O[protected] available in that same room. But I have been given a reply from SBI home branch REPUDI that amount is withdrawn. Kindly help me in this regard.
There are two evidence I have are, 1. One lady who took money before my transaction in ATM (S10A[protected] is also present and witnessed my unsuccessful transactions (I don’t know that lady, you may trace her and enquire).
2. You may confirm through the CC camera footage available in that ATM.
I sincerely request you to check the CC camera footage in ATM ID: S10A[protected] on 28th June-2012 around 12.20Hrs in our presence. If it is proved that I am wrong, then I am ready to pay for the expenses spent for study of CC camera footage. We don’t know how that ATM software works and how that error code comes but my case is beyond any doubt. So kindly help me in this regard and do justice to me and credit my amount as early as possible. Kindly take necessary action to get back my amount sir.

I had given subsequently a Cheque for even the Late Payment / No Payment charges to your representative who Visited my Residence cum Office (This is my own House, where I am leaving since more than 15 Years) with the Use’s Charges in December 08. But this Time, since Last 3/4 days, your Customer Care, Madras, was phoning continuously intimating that the given Cheque has Bounced back because of in sufficient Fund in the account. I therefore, request to send back the returned cheque as I had sufficient fund in my that account (exactly Rs 31, 527.03) & I was knowing that, as usual some wrong information, was being given to me (I don’t have Phone Conversation Recorder & hence I did not record such intimation).
Now some other explanation is being given & Your Representative visited me for the Payment & I have indicated to him following to settle this issue once for all-

I am a Retired Executive Engineer, from Roads and Buildings wing of Works Department, Govt of Orissa, Bhubaneswar. My Pension is drawn from State Bank of India, Bapuji Nagar Branch, BhubaneswarPIN- 751009, Orissa., [Br.Code 6408]

My Pension is not drawn from Nov 2006 to Oct 2008, since I sent the Life certificate late in Feb 2007, because I went to USA and submitted on my return to India. I had submitted the Life Certificate duly attested by the Branch Manager, State Bank of India, R.T.Nagar, Branch., Bangalore, Karnataka in Feb 2007. I am staying with my sons at Bangalore.

I personally attended SBI, Bapuji Nagar, Bhubaneswar in the month of December 2008 to know the position. I came to know that the Branch has sent my file to Pension Cell at Bhubaneswar.. After I met the AGM, Bapuji Ngr Branch Bhubaneswar, he was knd enough to order to draw the current pension of November 2008. on[protected] and my pension is drawn since then.


The Calculation of my areer pension from Nov 206 to Nov 2008, amounting to about 2.50 Lakhs was sent to AG orissa Bhubaneswar, through Dt. Treasury, Khuda, Bhubaneswar. AG(O) Bhubaneswar had since revalidated and sent the papers to the Bank with a copy to me.and EIC, Works, and EIC (C) Bhubaneswar for Necessary action. Though 6 months had passed no arrear pension is drawn by the Bank.

Kindly intervene in the matter and direct the concerned officers to draw my arrear Pension for 2 years and credit to my SB a/c in Your Branch at Bapuji Ngr, Bhubaneswar[6408]., for the act of which I will be highly obliged.

SBI Credit Card — card expires in may 2006 and they are still charging me

i had sbi credit card no [protected] which has been expired in the month of may 2006 and still they charged me insurance charges every month around Rs 390. Now i have paid more than Rs5000 so far for the card which is not existing. Once i have explained everything to customer care they say that i have to give written request for not levying the charges. when i have not requested for levey for the card which is not at all in existing, how they expect a request from me. They said they will send the billing to my email id and from past six months in my email their is no bills. If I ask to send past bills they say they will charge my card!!!!!!
It seems it is very easy to swindle public money in this country. I have never expected SBI is leading bank in swindling public money

In 31st of August 2008 I got call from SBI Privilege circle on behalf of SBI cards. They said I have been selected for Privilege circle program and convinced me to accept this offer. They promised me whatever told to me will be delivered within 25 days of registration. I trusted them because they assured me this offer is from SBI. After two weeks I called SBI customer care and they told me that they are not responsible for SBI Privilege circle and they given the SBI Privilege circle number[protected]/72) and I asked them to cancel my membership, they denied it by saying that it cannot be cancelled, though according to term and conditions. I called to SBI Privilege circle number and no one is responding and default message is saying that "our representatives are not available please try next available day". I am trying to contact them from 2 weeks I am getting the same message. I haven't received anything from them upto now. Could somebody please tell me how can I take legal action against SBI Privilege circle.

In 27 of August 2008 I got call from SBI Privilege circle on behalf of SBI cards. They said I have been selected for Privilege circle program and convinced me to accept this offer.i told them after receving the browser and after reading the matter i wiil accept it and kindly donot make it conferm berfore i read browser .and after collecting the information on the same day i.e.27 of August 2008 i made it cancell by phone and through the my SBI CREDIT MAIL ACCOUNT and i make a complain that i have been cheated so kindly cancell the offer.later i received the call call from sbi previlegethat this cannot be cancelled and on 4th sep it was billed in my account after that regular complainto costomer care it hasnot been removed and again on 4 oct the fine and late fee has been charged there is regular call from sbi card and i m explannig them that i have not accepted the offer and i am regularly requesting them on phone that to cancell the offer. .secondly all my communication and billing are done on my adress E-29/A, madhusudhan market, adress. but the send this packet on my house adress U-4 CIVIL TOWN SHIP, and deliver it to my brother house who donot no about this matter and offer. so kindly accept my complain and help me to safe my valuable money

I recieved a call from SBI card that I have been slecetd as previlage customer & offered some free gifts. After that they told me that Rs.6180 will be charged as previlage fee. Today I called the helpline number given & requested to cancell the fee. They told it cannot be cancelled . Pls can somebody tell me how to go legal against SBI previlage Circle.

As per privilage offer terms & conditions we can cancell the offer within 15 days .Cardholder can cancel the product within 15 days period from the date of debit/billed on the statement (Free Look Period) . Post 15 days of debit, Cardholder will be charged Rs. 1000/- as cancellation fee. Incase, Cardholder receives the Welcome Kit, no cancellation will be entertained.

I called up the customer service of privilage circle & insisted to cancel the offer. They denied it saying that it cannot e done. After arguing for so many time & reading out the terms & conditions the finally agreed to forward he request to cancel the offer.

According to the website of sbi previlage circle, membership can be cancelled till one receive the vouchers. This was also not mentioned by the representative who called me. To me this offer appears to be bogus.There is no mention that Rs. 1000/- will be detected as cancellation fee. I am also suffering with the same complain.

I had requested to terminate the SBI credit card no.[protected] in favour of me vide my application dated 14.3.2006 addressed to SBI Cards and Payment Services Pvt. Ltd. P.O. Bag NO:28, GPO, New Delhi-110 001 and a message in this connection has been received on 23.3.2006 at 10.40:19 as follows:

“Dear Customer, as per your request we have closed your SBI card
account – SBI card” Sender/SBI Card: Centre:[protected]

From April 2006 onwards, the credit bills have not been received, so that I am in assurance that the card has been terminated. When I contacted[protected] and toll free NO:[protected], it has been told that ‘the number is not matching with the credit number in our system’. But I am surprised that the bills are still being received showing the balance as ‘0’ from May 2008 duly reducing the credit points that are in my account which is making mental disturbance to me as I had suffered a lot in maintaining the credit card. Therefore, I request you to look into the matter and see that the bills are stopped.

From April 2006 onwards, the credit bills have not been received, so that I am in assurance that the card has been terminated. When I contacted[protected] and toll free NO:[protected], it has been told that ‘the number is not matching with the credit number in our system’. But I am surprised that the bills are still being received showing the balance as ‘0’ from May 2008 duly reducing the credit points that are in my account which is making mental disturbance to me as I had suffered a lot in maintaining the credit card. Therefore, I request you to look into the matter and see that the bills are stopped.

SBI — SBI credit card promise and cheat.

I have ask the credit card to close. The SBI didn't close the account and keeping sending the statements with intrest value. Finally they promised to close the account with a final settlement of 1500/- and close the account. They didn't give any details like card closer letters. They promised this is the final settlement and will close the card and no more call going to come. Now again after 2 months they call and say for the amount due. This is height. They lie to there customer and make him pay money even its been blocked and supposed to be closed. They will not close the account and make you pay the money. As, SBI customer is to pay monthly and contribute to SBI cards profits and the card will never be closed. By the time card gets closed you will be old and your part of the salary will be paided to them for no reason. Never go for SBI credit cards. They have the worst service. They dont have coordination on what happening on the account.

I had received call fron sbi privilege club member on 28-Sep-08 saying that i have been selected one of the member so for that you need pay just only 6000 /- Rs. nothing else for this you will receive your welcome kit worth of Rs. 3500 branded watch with in 3 weeks.

SBI Credit Cards — Irregularities by SBI Service partner GE Money India

I have a Credit Card Obtained from State Bank of India which is a Co-Branded Card. There had irregularities from the Bank's outsourced service Provider - GE Money India with regards to Credit well as Cheque misplacement / loss. The issues started way back in 2006 when I made a payment cash and they credited it to some other card account. This was followed up for 4 mths before my account in Dec 2006. After that whenever I deposited cheques, there had been delay of atleast time I deposited the cheque to when they got debited from my Bank account and credited in the Latest being in September and October 2008 when they lost two cheques dated Sept 5 and then to them spoke to them but till now there is no news of the said cheques. The I made an online November 3 and requested them to provide the update, but still no news from them. Meanwhile traveled to US on Nov.1 for some business work and I had informed them that I would be in US, on calling me. They had done this in Apr-June 2008 also. I am sick and tired of their policy when them that payments would follow in time and I am in US, they still keep asking when did you when would you make next payment and so on and so forth...

Even I am the sufferer of this offer and I have been fighting with them since more than one month. As of now the issue is not yet resolved and they are simply escaping by saying that the offer can't be cancelled. I donno how can we proceed leagelly as I atleast want to listen the recorded tapes which they are reffering. As of now, I even didnt receive the welcome kit and they have started charging the penalty interest rates as I have not done the payment for this offer. Can't we do something guys to get rid off this cheating?? Please share your ideas to proceed leagelly about this offer. I really got frustated by contacting this helpline group.

I have recieved a call from SBI card that I have been slecetd as previlage customer and assured me there is no any charge for the membersip. after that they charged me Rs.6180 as previlage fee. i am unable to contact them because of buzy helpline . Pls can somebody tell me how to go legal against SBI previlage Circle.SBI are cheating the customers they should provide the voice recording.

i too received the same offer and kit from sbi privilege card and then yesterday only i received a call from sbi that i have to pay Rs. 6180. i asked them for what? but the reply was same as mentioned in some of the above statements.

I also faced the similar problem. They called and verified all the details and later charged Rs.6180 as a privilege member fees. The very next day I found they charged me Rs.6180. When I called their customer service representive they told me this can not be cancelled and that I must pay. This is a day light robbery and should be severely viewed. We should viewed it seriously and complaint should be lodged at higher forum so that they can not do such cheating to innocent customers.

SBI Cards — Previlege Circle Customer

I am using this card for last three years. In October-2008, one offer as Previlege customer circle was offerred by SBI cards and they deducted 6180.00 INR on 23/10/2008 as a fee of the same.

They told me that they would send me welcome kit within 3 -4 weeks and some other offers has been given by themselves.

But till date after three months from the date of the amount deducted, I have not received any documents or welcome kit either.

I have called customer care innumerable times but they have only registered my complaint at their end but not acted accoridngly.

Now I want my money back. Requesting you to pls do the needful as soon as possible.

I agree with your comment. Similar incidence has occured with me. Tey called up in Feb and convinced me to become the member without giving any detailed information or terms and condition about the membership. they told me that they will give a watch worth Rs.6000. When I asked them why they are giving this to me. They told that I have been selected as privileged customer and I don't have to pay any amount.Now they are telling me to give Rs.6000 and I have not received anything from them.

I have been thrust with SBI privilege offer. First of all when the offer was made to me I had asked for the detail information and only after going through it I would have said yes or no. But instead of that the product was sold to me. The payment was made in November and I got the product in the month of January delayed by two months.

The product includes a wrist watch, a holiday package for 2 in any hotels in India & one way air trip in India.

When the offer was made I was told that I will be allowed to get one way ticket within India from any place to any place. But after I got the product I found that there is no scope of going from Mumbai to kolkata or ahmedabad to kolkata. This was not mentioned that there will be only limited options available for flying from one place to another. I stay in baroda and while making the offer they know where the customer is located. From baroda only one option is available i.e. to Mumbai.

They force the customer to take their product and later on the money is also deducted from my credit card which i paid to avoid defaultment. but now when i asked them to return my membership they are refusing . kindly let me know any legal action if any can be taken and how ?

join or not. I am really taken aback by reading the complaints above. I feel customer should be
very careful before giving the consent or accepting any offer. It is true the sales personnel are

Got call from sbi card with an offer of privilege circle. I had agreed to the offer. Accordingly in my next bill an amount of Rs 6180 was charged and i made the payment. As per the offer i was to get my offer pack within 15 days but so far i have not received anything inspite of making the payment.I tried to inform over telephone but got only assurance that they will get back to me. On 20.03.09 i called up Chennai office at phone no[protected] and spoke to Mr. Nikhil at 2.45pm. He told me he is unable to help me and moreover manager Mr.Rahul Rohila is not in the office and hence asked me to call at 5.00pm. When i called up at 5.00pm Mr.Nikhil was busy and i was told that he will call me within 5 minutes. Instead i got call after 15 minutes from Ms Tanya from New Delhi assuring me that she will call me next day in the afternoon. BUT i did not receive any call neither from Mr.Nikhil from Chennai nor from MsTanya from New Delhi.

In my case also I was told I have been selected for this privilege program and later billed Rs. 6067. The great name of SBI was so deeply entrenched in my psyche that I have now realized that I have been taken for a ride by some so called smart tele sales operators. But the amount of time they wasted, their own as well as mine is colossal. My friends are losing faith in SBI. Surely SBI could have found a more hoest way for making money. But what bothers me most is why SBI has become so knave and not realize that they are wiping out the goodwill they have earned in decades. The employees of the card division are so rude and adopt very cheap tricks to dupe the customers. They must immediately disociate the SBI name from SBI cards so that their reputation earned over half a century and passed on frm father to son is not tarnished.

SBI Card privilege programe is a fraud. They give false information on phone, and when you go through their documents/ terms and conditions they are contrary to their statements. I hope the Govt should take suitable action against them.

In the month of February 2009, i received a courier from SBI CARD PRIVIELEGE CIRCLE PROGRAM with a kit containing the Holiday Voucher, Flight Voucher, Free Joining Gift and in the same month billing deduction was made for Rs.6180.00( Rupees six thousand one hundred and eighty only) on 17.02.2009. But offer is totally misleading. Now I need a solution to with draw the offer given by SBI CARD and i request you to credit back the said amount as soon as possible with out any delay.Please advise me how to return the kit.And i am not at all interested for any such offers in future also coz we beleive that SBI is a Trust worthy Bank available in India, I am suggesting that don't allow the private partners to do these kind of misleading with the Public.

State Bank of India Credit Card — Cheating the customers

This is with reference to a SBI credit card I had applied for in the year 2006 which was issued to me but never delivered. Now, today they are calling me and saying that there is an outstanding amount of more than Rs. 10, 000/- on my card. I called up their customer care several times and have requested for the statement which, they are saying that they will not be able to provide.

In the last three years I had requested SBI thrice to block that card since I have never received it and they assured me that it has been blocked and I’ll get a new card for which they had updated my address also but, till date I have not received the card. In place of the card, I am getting calls from their recovery agencies threatening me of the dire consequences if I don’t make the payment.

I would request you to take this matter up with the concerned authorities and get it resolved; I’ll be extremely grateful to you.

Somebody contacted me on phone and told that I have been selected for a free privilage offer.the privilage explained to me were free flight ticket for any desiered destination for a wife and two children and hotel accomadation with a free gift watch for which I was to deposit around 6000 rupees. I have clearly told on that day that my children are studying in class12 and 10. but on reciving on the curior I was suprised to read that on side flight charge only will be paid and also taxes, etc shall have to be paid by me.and also children below 5 years were only eligeble.
By giving false information through the phone from the call center I have been trapped and now i am forced to pay around Rs.6000 to SBI Credit Card .
I don't no why the SBI are cheeting the public like this.and i have also decieded that I am cancelling my SBI Credit Card as they are forcing me to spend money unnecessarily.

They have done my account verification and said I have been selected for Privilege circle program and convinced me to accept this offer and give me a number to contact[protected]. I contacted them to cancel my membership but they denied it by saying that it cannot be cancelled according to term and conditions. The person who contacted me hide lot of informations regarding the program.Although I haven’t signed off any documents regarding the same,

they said that they would be sending some gifts through courier that i should accept

SBI Credit Card — Non receipt of vouchers

i have place an order as per the online request/offer recd from SBI, and paymnet of rs. 6067, was debited from my SBI credit card on 30.09.2009. i have recd the confirmation through SMS on my cell number for this transection . till date i ahve not heard anything and no body at customer care in SBI crad is replying for the same.

Privilege circle program - new way to cheat customer
In August 2009 I got call from plat5 on behalf of SBI cards. They said I have been selected for Privilege circle program and convinced me to accept this offer. They promised me whatever told to me will be delivered within 25 days of registration. They told me that I can cancel the offer if they have not despatched the so called Wellcome kit.I trusted them because they assured me this offer is from SBI. I contacted them to cancel my membership, they denied it by saying that it cannot be cancelled, though according to term and conditions I could cancel offer if I told them before making payment to SBI cards. I haven't received anything from them. Could somebody please tell me how can I take legal action against SBI cards.

There is no connection between fly sector list to the list of destinations ( hotels ) you have given. I stay in Bhopal and while making the offer they know where the customer is located. It is true the sales personnel are hiding some facts or giving false hopes/ promises and putting the customer in trouble.
So, I request you to take back your kit and cancel the deal and make my amount to be reversed.
