[Resolved]  SBI Tata Credit Card — cancellation of card

HI,

I want to cancel my TATA credit card. Kindly let me know the procedures or send me contact mail id or number.

At time of joining there was no joining fees, but now there is an anual fees.
I am not using my Card at all for quite some time. So i want to close/cancel my Card.

This card is very worst and cheating the customer..
I just want to cancel TATA Credit card. These guys are never care about customers. They charged me FIN charges though I had refund before due date. My refund was around 25k and I didn't want to pay 25K and get refund to my account from merchant.I have tried to call the customer care no and its IVR which never directs me to customer care rep (there is no option for reaching cust. care rep). So I mailed customer care and received pre-text reply saying the bill was not paid before due date. I replied to that mail explaining my issue and never got a response. Then I escalated to Level-1 to [protected]@tatacard.com. No response from them. Now, I have escalated to Level-2 to [protected]@sbicard.com. I hope they respond to this level-2 escalation.

All I need now is, I want to cancel this TATA credit card and get a peace of mind. But I have explored few options which I do not expect them work correctly. All the customer care nos are not proper which will allow me to talk to somebody in customer care.

We are not used the credit card & this month bill is Rs. 2900/-. Why we have to the amount without using. Please cancel the same.

Hi sir,
I want to cancel my Tata sbi credit card immediately..I got cheated by using this card.fraud activity worth 7000 happened in my account which I paid and after that my card has been blocked for more than 6 months..Then how come I am getting mail each month and now they are charging me 1000 rupees for using this card.this card has been blocked and I did not even issue a new card..pls close my Tata credit card immediately...Alreday sent a mail to nvariyava.[protected]@tatacapital.com...but did not receive any feedback...fully waste o[censored]sing tata card..

I cancel my tata credit card in december 2015 and yesturday 14 may 2017 i got credit card statement saying rs. 574 due on your card for payment on 1/6/2017.
This has been a fraudulent behaviour from tata/sbi credit card department.
I will escalate this matter at all level and will logged consumer court complain if this is not reversed with proper acknowledgement from tata/sbi

Hi,

I received the Tata SBI card just before 2weeks. At the time of initial discussion it was told to me that the annual fee will be charged after 1 year but I am charged in the current month statement. Without any use of it I am charged of Rs 3000/-. It is a complete cheat.
Also it was told that my existing IRCTC SBI card will be closed and Tata card will be issued with extra benefits but I just got a new card.

I just want to close this card, kindly let me know the procedure.

Uninformed application of annual fees, change in terms of issue without letting me know, including applying a annual fee when I was told it wont be, and of course unanswered emails to their customer service, also ombudsman.

I am trying to cancel this card but not successful yet. Wish me good luck.

Any person considering this card may consider themselves warned that innumerable problems will be created later. MNC banks are unnecessarily maligned - their cheating is far lesser than public sector banks of India.

Dear All : Please don't go for TATA CARD, Please find belpwe my experiance with Tata Card :
This refers to the card number [protected] since 50 days I am not able to login online. Try to connect to customer care they are saying representative will connect you within 2 mins or your waiting time is 2 mins but I hold for 30 mins nobody connected and call disconnected. When I tried to login online I get message '
Sorry! You cannot avail this service at the moment. Please try again later or call the tata Card helpline at[protected]prefix the STD code of your city).
I had tried forget password, unlock a/c but its of no use. Useless service.
Please inform me of the problem with my account.

Hello I have a Tata SBI Credit Card valid till 10/21 . Have had this since 14 + years .

I received an SMS on 3rd Nov2020 indicating that the SBI Card has been closed as of 31.10.2020 because of non usage.
There has been no call enquiring whether the card may be closed or any communication to that effect.
Usually there are call enquiring whether you need the credit card but this closure is surprising.
