He was also informed that I had activated the AUTO PAY facility in my SBI savings account at Gondia, Main branch.

I once again request you to please take immediate action so that this daily telephonic harassment can come to an end.

Dear Sir,
I am lodging the complaint through this e-mail about the telephonic harassment by SBI. The current dated cheque No.005468 of Rs34500, drawn on SBI, Main Branch Gondia, Maharastra, for the payment due on 7th February 2008 against my SBI Credit card number [protected] was dropped in the drop box of SBI branch, Malad(E), Mumbai on 3rd Feb. 2008. A week after that , one of my acquaintance, I call him Uncle, started getting 2-3 phone calls a day asking for the payment. Every time he told the SBI executive, that the cheque has already been deposited. So far he has received more than 20 calls in15 days. Those executives were unable to tell the status of the cheque deposited on 3rd Feb. and instead asking for one more cheque of the same amount advising me to stop payment of the previous cheque. Presently I am out of country, cant stop the payment of earlier cheque. How can I make the due payment twice. Even if i make the payment in case of misplaced cheque,
they should send me a e-mail stating the fact and assuring not to en cash the previous cheque after I issue a new cheque.

I therefore request the grievances cell of RBI to please look into the matter urgently to stop this harassment by SBI.

I, Credit Card Holder (No [protected]), already made full & final payment as advised by your customer service department on telephone through Cheque No. 267819 . But till date I am receiving your credit card bill of late payment fees. I surprised about this statments why & what kind of late fees you charged in the statements as I already request to close my Credit card by making Total payment with application to close the account.
In recent days, I am receiving lot of calls from SBI, they enforcing me to pay more amount to settle the closed account. even without referring my complaint. It appears that the software of the card division has been fraudulently manipulated.
In the interest of public, it is necessary for a enquiry to be ordered to conduct an audit of the software used for card closure process.

The payment was collected on behalf of SBI Cards on 30/9/04 by Mr. Arun (Collector Name), Receipt no. 2427381.

I am also surprised about the monthly statments why & what kind of late fees you charged in the statements as I already closed my Credit card by making Total payment with application attached to Deactivate the account for which the confirmation was given.

But till date, I am receiving lot of calls from SBI, they enforcing me to pay more amount to settle the closed account and threated to take legal action against me, even without referring my complaint.

It appears that the software of the card division has been fraudulently manipulated.
In the interest of public, it is necessary for a enquiry to be ordered to conduct an audit of the software used for card closure process.

Dear Sir,

This is with reference to the above cited subject. You are requested to look into the matter for the reason where no liability of credit card is remaining with me, wherein Full & Final payment against SBI Cards receipt number 3967150 dated 29-Jul-06 of Rs. 5, 700 has been made by Cash (even though Rs. 1100 was once again taken to close the matter against which detail is not available with the undersigned.)

It was surprising for the undersigned that after more than two years from date of aforesaid F&F a Demand Notice vide notice number DLN_271108_282 dated 27-Nov-07 has been received from Lawyers Inc. Tis Hazari Courts on dated 03-Dec-08 by saying "That as per the accounts maintened by our client in ordinary course of buiness a sum of Rs. 11, 816.70 is due and payble by you which you have failed to pay despite repeated demnads".

It was also surprising that no calls and demands are received by the undersigned till date so there is no question of aforesaid demand. It is also requested to look into the matter that undersigned have also have got the receipt for clarifcation as well collector name "Mr. Dev Bhushan-Mob No. [protected]" otherwise it would have been great loss of Rs. 11, 816.70. Even though the demand notice is having wrong date which is 27-Nov-07.

Even after silence of some times on 17-March-2009 a phone call was received stated same matter however amount requisite was higher than earlier from Mr. Anil Kumar (Mobile [protected], [protected]@rediffmail.com).

After silence of almost six months a call again received from Mr. Deepak Tiwari though his mobile number [protected] on 25th September 2009 for same issue, however, amount requisite was Rs. 15, 405.

Therefore, I am intending to write this to you to please advise what should be my next step. You are also requested to take necessary action against SBI Bank as this becoming burden to me, my wife and two little daughters. Since no action was taken by SBI Bank helpline officials despite many written complaints through email.

State Bank of India — Harrasment on phone by collections

Hi,

My name is Akhilesh Tiwari and I am working in a company where my Manager "Sanjay Nandwana" gave my references for availing the credit card and defaulted on payment.
Now I have been receiving calls from SBI recovery agents from Phone No.[protected] and they are asking me to make the payment. I am not aware of anything as I never knew if my manager would give my references. Also SBI never cross checked with me for any references, nor do they have anything in written from me.
I would kindly request to take action against this so as to stop this guys from harassing and also I am going to file a case of harassment to stop this miscreants from playing this type of mischief.

SBI Credit Card — harresment even after blocking the credit card

Dear all

I dont know how to express i had a sbi credit card which was blocked 1 year back and today ie 25/11/2009 i recieved a call from the numbeer [protected] she stated her self as calling from sbi legal department delhi and she told me to pay Rs 9000/- as a closing charges but i have not recieved any letter or any communication from them before ..
1) do we have to pay any charges for closing any credit card
2)she started shouting stateing why cant you pay the money .. i told her give me a letter she stated that you give a post dated cheque if not she will put my name in defaulters list
3)This is creating a mental harresment for me because what ever statement i recieved i have cleared the pay ment

Reguest you to kindly help me in sorting out this issue

dear sir,
i am native of mysore, karnataka. i am sbi credit card holder my card No. [protected]. i am regularly paying my dues in time. i regularly drop my cheque in sbi bank mothikana building, sayyaji rao road mysore. but after checking drop box centres i come to know sbi commercial branch saraswathipuram. this is the first time i dropped my cheque in this branch on 28/01/2010, cheque No. 145239 of indus ind bank of amount Rs 7100.00. but till date the i am getting sms as ur payment is due & on 5.2.2010 from customer care called me & gave all the details regarding this. kindly help me what is the other option to do as soon as possible.

To whom so ever it may concern ..

I am writing this after utmost patience maintained at my end towards resolution from SBI's credit card division end .. yet No relief whatsoever in stopping of Recover calls made on [protected] for Rahul Chandra Das ..

The above mentioned number was used by Mr. Rahul Chandra Das long time back, and I am using this no. from September, 2009 onwards .. I am receiving recovery calls from all sorts of departments of SBI (i.e. Collection, Recovery, Advocates etc.) to which my response is simply that Mr. Das is not using this # anymore .. and I am always getting kind replies at times that we will do update and that I will not be disturbed anymore ..

Many a times, I am also getting Threating/Abusive calls .. to make the matter worse is that, everyday, @ approx. 084 hrs. I am getting collections calls .. mind it everyday ..

All this is leading into loads of mental anxiety and disturbance ..

Kindly get the same sorted out ..

These kind of complaint was happened to me but in my case they themself showing in the current month statement they have received the payment and they are tolled that which was late payment

What does it mean, if its a late payment how they are reflecting in the same statement if we made actually a late payments means those things will be reflected in the next statements only.

And charging a huge amount nearly 10% including late payment fees to the amount which is not actually due on that particular statement.So please reverse those huge finantial charges also to my credit card No. [protected]

State Bank of India — Daily harrassment by calling since last five yrs.

I am Mr. Diwan Chand Sharma.I am getting calls from SBI since last five years at the very outset of the day.I have never used the SBI card which was sent to me by SBI without being asked for.The Bank then levied some charges on the card.Since then, they are harrassing me each day on account of payment reminders.I am a working professional.Taking minimum two such calls each day really becomes difficult particularly when I am in the midst of some work.It is also very annoying and offending.
I am writing this mail with the hope that some action will be taken against the bank to stop such mental harrassment to me since last five years, at the earliest.

SBI Credit Card — harrasment after payment made

HI,

I am Subrahmanyam Kockonda , recently offered settlement of my credit card no :[protected]. The total settlement was offered by bank was 20000/-.

I have made payment on 13th oct of Rs.20000/- which was given in offer letter and I received bill for the same. But the agents are not giving settlement letter , moreover they asked me to give 6000/-
Extra so that they can handover me the settlement.The settlement amount was mentioned in letter was 20000/-..


Today I received settlement letter and executive is asking me 6000/- more because of they made settlement letter. He is troubling me all the day by making phone calls and coming to home.

I have the cash bill of Rs 20000/- with me . Below are the details of the bill

Sir, I had SBI Cr card no-[protected] whic was suomoto DeActivated by them for no default from my side, as I use cr card rarely and pay my committments/drop the chq in full every month well before due date.
SBI Cr card offered Encash Loan of Rs 31k in Jan2010 and their chq was delivered to me after lon chase.Finally the cheque also bounced and returned to my Bankers.
I know its purely SBI Cr card accounting system they do not update thier computer records, Hence I get Disturbed My GE Money/Collection Agent Staffs without knowing what they are talking.I have sent nearly 30 emails toHead Sbi Cards/AVP Customer Service and Recently To Chairman / CGM-PB /DGM Customer Service-SBI Hqrs at Mubmai. They have promptly forwarded my complaint Concerned Cr Card Higher Authorities under advise to me. I have SBI credit card for the last 6 years. I requested for residential address change that took almost 1 month for updating . In the meantime my card was blocked and When I enquired asked me confirmation of residential address and office address and confirmed The residential address was updated told by them from the enquiry verification team. But My office address was not updated and came to know that I was not available when the verification team came and enquired from the security guard. I was very much available in the office on that day . Despite my repeated request that the card is still not activated for the last 3 months saying that as per RBI regulation that both address should be current.

Does the SBI card have any mechnism to update the current address without request...

The peculiar thing is that when ever customer care is contacted wants further 10 days from the date of call not from the original date of complaint to activate the card. Can the SBI management aware of procrasinism attitude of SBI card management...

Dear Madam,

Please note my grievences as under,

1) I issued one cheque bearing sl. no. 808386 dt.06/01/2011 for Rs. 3143.71 drawn on favour of SBI Credit Card no. [protected] which had been received on your end on 08/01/2011. I got an intimation on my mobile from SBI Clearing service that my account had been debited on 14/01/2011. On 23/01/2011, I got information from your Credit Card service that my cheque had been dishonoured due to insufficient fund. But after checking my above a/c, I noticed that the amount of Rs. 3143.71 has been debited (there is no question of Fund Insufficiency) from my above SB A/c but the card services sent me a statement after loading the unpaid amount and harassing me for uncleared amount of Rs. 3143.71.

2) I immediately approached my SBI Dalhousie Sq Branch, Kolkata to know the status of my cheque but they clearly informed me that my cheque had been credited to SBI Credit Card and issued me a Statement of A/c on 31/01/2011 duly stamped and signed.

3) As per instruction of your Customer care Executives, I forwarded the documents over fax 2 times and mailed several times to your concerned deptt. After few days, one of your Telecaller called me and informed me that the above statement is not sufficient and they need BANK CERTIFICATE to validate the dispute. After hearing from them, I went to SBI Dalhousie Sq. Branch and narrated everything to my Branch Manager and even he spoke over Telephone to one of your Centre Manager at Gurgaon Mr. Ashish Khanna and as per his instruction, he issued me a Bank Certificate stating that the above amount had been debited from my a/c on 14/01/2011 and there is no question of insufficient fund on letterhead. I immediately forwarded the same to your Mr. Ashish Khanna and requested him to resolve the matter.


4) Even after those disputes, I have already made the payment of current months EMI of Rs. 3140.44 on 07/02/2011 vide cheque no. 775750 dt. 07/02/2011 drawn on HDFC Bank and the same was cleared on 10/02/2011.

5) As your telecallers are harrasing me several times, I went to S.B.I. Head Office at Stand Road and SBI Middleton Road Clearing house Kolkata and spoke to D.G.M. but every person assured me that my a/c is clear and there is no dispute at all and even they demanded the rejection note to scrutiny and take up the matter with your concerned dett. But after requesting and demanding your customer services to mail me the Bank Rejection Memo, they clearly denied to provide me any documents as proof of dishonour.

6) Desparately I approached to your Kolkata Regional office at A.J.C. Bose Road on 10/02/2011 and stated them my plight and submitted them every documents they need. After checking they assured me that nothing to be worried and I would get my credit within 72 hrs. and they will send me a fresh statement after credited the amount.

7) Just now I received a call from Mr. Ritesh of your Gurgaon Customer Care dept. and that fellow is telling the same old story and pressuring me to deposit the above amount immediately. Neither he checked at his end the details before calling a customer nor he bother to solve the problem. This type of service is least expected from a Co. of your repute without any fault of mine.

I request your goodself to kindly take the matter seriously at your end and stop harrassing the customer for nothing. Otherwise I will have no other alternative but to approach Consumer Redressal Forum as well to Ombudsman cell to stop harrasement from a SERVICE PROVIDER WHO ARE USING LOGO OF STATE BANK OF INDIA, INDIA'S LARGEST BANK.

Hope, the above will enough to solve the matter and honour a customer who has a clear track record for last 18 months.

SBI CREDIT CARD, SBI — DISHONOR OF CHEQUE BY SBI DESPITE BEING HAVING SUFFICIENT FUND

Dear Sir/madam,

I am holding a SBI credit card, which has option of auto debit scheme, during the month of Nov SBI Credit dept has deducted Rs 350/- from my account by saying that the money in my saving acct was insufficient to pay the due amount. But the truth was that the money was sufficient in my saving account. to prove that I have produced my bank statement to Credit card dept, and requested them not to deduct such penalty money from my saving acct till the time this problem is rectified,

But from last five months I am providing all the documents as asked by the Credit card dept but still they are not able to rectifies the said complaint,

I am fade-up with their lackadaisical attitude, no one from their dept tried to contact me, and when i try to contact them everytime new CC executive attentds the call and i have to tell complete story to that nes guy.

you are requested to do needful to wake this govt dept.

Dear Sir / Madam,

I am an SBI Credit Card Holder for many years enjoying fairly good services from your bank until now. But now, I am getting frequent calls from the phone number[protected] and someone by name Vandana is making all kinds of attractive offers saying that I am a privileged customer of SBI Cards. She told me that they are offering me Free Travel Vouchers for Holiday in India and abroad, Airline Ticket Vouchers, Reward points etc etc and finally said that they need my confirmation for a payment of Rs.6067/- which will be reflected in my statement dated 17th November 2011. The lady kept insisting that I should confirm over phone. But, I refused to do that realizing that there is something fishy about the whole matter.

The most troubling thing is to note that the caller gave all kinds of details pertaining to my SBI credit card account like my Card Number, My Date of Birth, My wife's and children's names, our exact postal address, phone numbers, email ID etc.

I would like you to look into the matter and take appropriate action immediately and give a feedback about the bank's action in this regard. I'm furnishing my full address and contact details below:
