i am a tata sky subscriber for since the launch. my subscriber id is [protected]. recently we booked two additional tata sky + through their customer care by paying 4999 and 5999 via online transaction in their pre diwali scheme of 2009. one box is yet to be delivered after one month of paying up. one box that they have delivered is faulty/defective as per their installation engineer. we bought new connections by paying full amounts but they have listed connection in their computer as replacement for old and disconnected our old set top box. repeated request to their senior supervisor Mr. Avtar in north region customer center has not yielded any result even after one week. we also requested for refund of our money as they are neither providing the box and also the box that has been provided is not being installed. they have clearly refused to refund money saying there is no policy for refund.
request all those who are buying tata sky to be more careful as you might end up losing money with tata. Was this information helpful? |
Good move by booking a Tata Sky+ connection during the pre- diwali offer period. The one that you have not received will not be charged for as your account will not be activated. There has been a massive sale of Tata Sky+ STB during the offer period therefore resulting in slight delays. There must have been some misunderstanding as the engineer appointed may have committed a mistake as they often carry refurbished STB's and set it up for you. You can call the customer care and address your issue as you are rightfully entitled to the connection. The refurbished STB can be given back for your new connection. My personal experience with Tata Sky customer care has been good your pending case can be solved by providing case no.s and they can pull the history of the issue rather than going through the entire step once again. The new STB will be provided as I have found the CC very co-operative and they listen to your issues.
