[Resolved]  Uti Pan Card Service — Status of complaint

I have applied for PAN card with appln No.[protected] and coupon No.[protected] on 11.09.09 at UTI service centre Belapur. The PAN tracker of the website is displaying the fields as NULL. Kindly look int o the matter and do the needful

Its been more than six months that I have not received my PAN CARD . In the beginning I checked it through the net with the acknowledgement no. and check for the pan no. Then I was waiting that I would receive the PAN CARD but I didn’t receive it . Would request you to just let me know the reason why ? I have not received my pan card .

I have sent a letter on 15th sept 2009 regarding mismatch in my father name.
The correct name is GAJENDRAN OTTERI.

SUBJECT : CORRECTION IN PAN DATA (AGEPR5371D)

I have given a request for the correction of data in PAN CARD (including Name, Father’s Name, Address updating).

However I have received my new PAN Card but still reflecting the incorrect middle name of my father’s name.

CORRECT FATHER’s MIDDLE NAME is “CHANDRA” not “KUMAR”

FATHER’S NAME SHOULD APPEAR AS “NARESH CHANDRA RUSTAGI”

Rest all the data appears fine.

Kindly made the correction in your records and issue me the new PAN CARD ASAP.

Dear UTI and NSDL,

There have been many complaints before and later (in future) regarding online application of PAN. Especially with the AO Code, Circle etc. Why there isn't any proper information on the the websites?

There is no need to provide stupidly online service which cause more inconvenience to the PAN applicants when you do not have the ability and common sense to handle such situations. This online PAN service is implemented just to boost the IT dept and yourself.
