i am suffering from the problem of display only blue screen with my vediocon D2H from last saturday.

i have filed complain many times to the customer care center.

      Received a mail from Videocon Electronics about the job offer. They have insisted to deposit Rs. 9500 as refundable deposit in SBI.

      I have strong doubt about these mails. Though i have gone for the telephonic interview twice in last 3 months. But then there was no reply from them.

      And suddenly iam getting the mail today (Abstract pasted below). Request you to please look into the matter and if found to be fraud please take necessary action regarding the same as their is a possibility of few innocent people getting into this web.

        Dear Sir/Madam,

        I was a reliable customer of your all products and I trusted this brand before I started facing problems with your products.

        Its been long I am thinking of writing this letter to you authorities regarding my complaint about the electronic products I am using since last 3+ years.

        I have purchased the following goods from your brands from a CSD dealer, Rajat electronics, Palam in Delhi.

        1. Washing Machine (Fully automatic) - Kenstar

        2. Food Processor - Kenstar

        3. Microwave Oven - Kenstar

        4. Fridge - Electrolux

        5. T.V. - Videocon

        I have purchased the above products in Jan'2006 for my marriage. Since beginning, Feb'2006, I have faced problems with many of the products.

        1) It was started with Fridge. In Feb'2006, its compressor got damaged and I requested them to replace my fridge. They replaced my fridge with a new fridge, but it was stinking like anything. When I opened the fridge, to my surprise it was having rotten eggs & chapaties inside. How would you feel when you are a pure vegetarian and have such a unbelievable thing in your brand new product. They again replaced it with a different model. I accepted that. But only in 2 years the door started troubling. Its not getting closed properly.

        2) Then the problem hit my washing machine & food processor. They replaced the pulley in washing machine in April'2006, as it was in warranty period. I asked for replacing that machine but they refused.

        3) Then in April' 2006 my food processor had some smoking inside. The person came from the company & repaired that.

        4) I haven't opened my microwave till Feb'2009, as I was already in shock with all these damages. And I knew that it is also a damaged/duplicate one piece, so what's the purpose to see again a damage to your own products which I bought myself. I finally opened the microwave in March'2009 to use it to prepare some recepies for my child. And no wonder it damaged in just 1 months time. I lodged a complaint and as it was not in warranty period, I paid for its repairing. Its fuse & diode got damaged.

        5) It was only TV which was working fine in all this phase. I was ok that atleast one product is standing by my side in all this bad phase. But finally, in just 3 years its time came to show its reality. The display is not working. Got it repaired 2 times and again its not working. It was not in warranty period & I paid all the bills. Now just a week before I again got it repaired and as I lost the bill of previous service, I paid again.

        Now, you tell me who is wrong here. The company or dealer ?? Did dealer cheat me or the company?? When I talked to dealer, he said they delivered all the products directly form the company. They just send the orders to company & company directly deliver the products at our house. Whom should I contact now?

        You must be wondering why I came so late, while I was facing these problems since beginning. I have a reason for that. The whole things I purchased were for my marriage. I am a working lady and didn't get chance to go to the dealer. We were putting up in R.K.Puram and Palam is quite far to that place. I called up those guys and after that their number got changed. Later, I conceived and had a baby. Since then I was busy in my work & family life.

        But now when again my T.V, fridge, oven & food processor started giving problem, the all old frustration again heated up. How would you feel at your in-laws place if the things you bought are so problematic. How would you feel when you purchase all these items for your luxury & you find that they are really not luxury but making your life hell. How would you feel when you are busy in work & with your child & the things you really required to ease you are problematic.

        Do you have answers to these??? I request you to please guide me through to this phase and don't prompt me to take any legal action against the dealer or the company. Because all this made my life hell.

          sir i have submited my videocon mobile phone(v1420) in aryans it services 2nd floor ,18 rabindra sarani,poddar court kolkata-700001 on 09th aug 2010.there is some problems with my cell.i got informed that ur cell is repaire in a week.
          bt sir after a long time there is no response.i have talked a number of time in customer care.by which i got a complaint no-MEET[protected]_IB on 16th aug.. MY call id is-AR1-VG[protected]DW.

          Dear Support team, Videocon Mobiles.

          I am sorry to say that I am not able to get the handset repaired by the service centre at Kolkata ( Aryans IT Services- 18, Rabindra Sarani, Poddar court. kolkata- 1, West Bengal) . The touch screen of my mobile was not working at all. I would request you to please replace the handset with new one so that I can use it, as service center is not able to provide the necessary parts (if required) for my set. I am without a phone for the last more than 21 days.
          I don't have alternative mobile phone. You can imagine that how much I am sufferring from last 21 days. But no one from service center giving us exact date that when they will make it repaired. They are not giving proper reply.

          Thus, you are requested to look into this matter.

            Sir my name sandeep duhan ( customer id no 2930024) sir i once again face the problem after 15 days . tell me the resone . this is a very bad services i registred my problem 21/08/2010 and told me sir wait 24 to 48 hours but after 72 hours not sold my problem all time my problem resoled after 130 to 150 hours why? this is very big problem. i mail the nodal officer but my problem not sole .i buy 31 december 2009 . but i face the problem within eight month four time plz change my system and plz give me right system. your enginger services is very bad . all my problem resolved after 5 to 6 days why?

              I had applied for the relocation of airtel connection from Pune address to my Bangalore address
              B1 316 Shobha aquamarine outer ring road bellandur bangalore-560103 on 24th Aug 2010.There has been no resolution of the issue even after one month.

              However inspite of repeated complaints and follow up there has been no resolution for the issue. On top of that every time I regsiter a complaint I get a meesage in a day or two after that the complaint has been resolved. It has been a harrowing experience in dealing with Airtel D2H.At one instance instead of issuing a order to technician for bangalore the call center people intiated a order for relocation in Pune and message was sent that the issue was resolved. At all the other time my addres was updated wrong in the system. I had payed 1800 for four months of free connection but I have lost a month in delaing with the pathetic service of Airtel D2H call center.

              I had suffered lots of time for "no signal" message by a airtel d2h broadcast system but any one technician from airtel d2h do not give me a permanent solution from this problem. for this problem solution I had paid lots of money to airtel d2h, and finally I had paid more money per package.

              Height is that my neighbor has other service provider than airtel d2h, but they can't suffer due to this technical problem since last 3.5 years, so i think their d2h provider is better than airtel.

              I m also planning to disconnect airtel d2h service because how many times I have to pay service charges to airtel d2h for same problem ?

              I had complained to airtel customer care for the same and service request no is : 14266497.and this time I will not pay to airtel d2h.

              This is my last complaint, and hope for permanent solution.

                Sir,

                After such a long period of 4 months complaint and calls at last my Videocon D2H 26" LCD got replaced on 17th of August 2010 and got wall mounted on 19th of August and the services started on 21st August.

                But even after so much of pain Videocon D2H has send me an OLD LCD which was registered in the name of Mr. Satish Customer ID :5990232.

                And this LCD send to me is having a different problem. The picture is coming distorted and in between is coming red and green lines on the LCD.

                I don't know what kind of services Videocon D2h is providing to its customer even after so many months of mental stress, in the last they have replaced LCD by an OLD LCD with different Technical problem.

                  This is to update you that i am really disappointed with the quality Videocon provides .
                  I have purchased a Flat Videocon TV (Model:-VDS21GBV/2009 on 10 July 2010 (from Kay Dee electronics, 1B-1,sector 18,main dadri road, Noida) and within 1 month i faced problem in its display, soon i logged a complain (complain Id:-GHA[protected] ,date of complain:-Saturday 31st July 2010) and with late action an engineer reported at my home ,after investigating the television set he said that Picture Tube needs to be replaced saying this he went and after that no engineer came to process it further,i keep on writing the mail to cutomer care but no action have been taken i am frustated with the quality of videocon and wish Videocon to refund my money so that i may switch over to other brand.Please help me out as i have great faith in consumer forum.

                    Videocon Flat TV — Picture tube complain since 10 months

                    I purchased my TV-flat, brandname Videocon, but since the date of purchase. I raised complain regarding big dots on TV Screen, Even dealer has attended the TV through service centre, but till date after end of 10 months after purchase, the problem is not resolved. Now only two months of warranty is outstanding, after that they may not be taking care.

                      I had purchased Videocon Plasma Integra 32'P from "Next retail India ltd" Borivali (west) branch Mumbai on dated 05/05/2009, bill no: 03244, amount: rs 21500/-
                      T.V. worked perfectly for 4 to 5 months, then the problem started,problem was of glass of tv screen. It had started turning YELLOW. It started with a single dot and then spread out to whole screen. I had made complaint in the begining when i had noticed that yellow spot. My 1st complaint no: mum[protected], dated:08/10/2009. The 1st complaint was solved after 2-3 months, that too after many reminder. "Next" requested us to make complaint online on Videocon customer service site, we did so but there was no reply from their side too. My online complaint no :18266MW381149, dated:27/12/2009. My 1st complaint was solved in december end or in january. After this tv worked properly for 3 to 4 months and then same yellow spot was seen and i made complaint again, complaint no:mum[protected] dated:22/05/2010, even after this complaint i wasn't entertained properly. then after few days engineers came n changed the glass but that glass was the ordinery window glass,which was replaced on 19/06/2010 . In this glass tv screen was completely black we could not see any thing properly. I think they fooled me. Then i went to Videocon service center office kandivali branch, then they again replaced the glass but again glass was of same cheap quality but in reddish color.
                      My tv glass has been changed tries but i am not at all satisified by the quality of Videocon and service of "Videocon and also of Next retail India ltd"
                      I requested Videocon service center to change my tv model and i also said that i am ready to pay difference but they havent replied till now, it has passed more then 1 month i said them, and their reply is just that "Videocon" company is not instructing us so we cant help you.
                      Now i humbly request for the last time please do replace my tv and change our model. Hope i am entertained properly atleast this time. Waiting for your reply for the last time.

                        I am having d2h since Feb, 2010 and since then it is giving trouble everyday. Their Customer care people are inefficient and even uneducated, so they are not capable to handle customers. No satisfactory reply is provided. For my product D2H every time I am making complaint, but no response. My recent complant No. 16605138 dated 8.8.2010, and I was told that the engr will come 24-48 hrs, but nobody came. I am fed up with their product. They are deducting balance from the package and we are not able to see the programs. How ironic it is!. I do not rrecommend anybody to buy videocon product at all.

                            I am writing this mail to gain attention of Big executives of Videocon D2H service provider towards the kind of services they are offering to their growing customer base. I ordered D2H on 27th july, the person came and collected the cheque and dropped the set top box at my resident. At beginning I was very clear about the installation date which was Sunday 1st Aug.

                            On Saturday I gave call on[protected] number to give them my new number and confirm with them next day’s installation schedule I did received docket number for my this conversation which is “ “. Sunday full day I was home waiting for engineer to come and install, but nobody turned up.

                            On Monday again I gave call CSR(Customer service representative) promised me to send engineer before Monday end of day. Nobody came. I checked with guys at aajkideal and got landline number where I can reach him, I tried many times but that number was busy, somehow I got the number but lady refused to provide me Shiva’s number as Shiva was not in office. Shiva is totally irresponsible person, I tried so many times calling but once he got to know about me, he started disconnecting my call.

                            On 2nd August 2010, I sent one mail at [protected]@d2h.com, I have attached a copy of mail and response which I received in anticipation of mail with this mail. But still no action was taken.

                            On Tuesday again I gave call to CSR[protected] and this time I spoke to supervisor named Shraddha (not sure if this is real name), docket number 16273179. This time I was shocked when I heard from her that the status for my account in her system is COMPLETE, can you imagine without installation status is COMPLETE. How can this be possible???? Here she gave me assurance of getting installation by end of Tuesday. To my great surprise installation was not done on Tuesday either.

                            On Wednesday till 2.00 nothing happened so I decided to go for Airtel and post this experience along with all docket number and on internet, so that other customer should not fall in trap of Videocon DTH.

                              Hi,

                              I have bought the vediocon D2H Satelite box 1001 AU from PlanetM a vediocon shop in June. The product cost is 1390 for satilite box with universal remote + 300 installation charge.
                              The same has been mentioned in the website for past several months. But the remote which is provided to me is not universal remote. I contacted the customer care they asked me to check with the dealer, whether it is universal remote or noraml remote if the remote is normal the customae care person asked me to call again inroder to delivering the universal remote for me. I taken my remote and went to the dealer(PlanemtM OMR kottivakkam chennai). I confirmed it is not universal remote. Then i contacted the customer care they said my product register in thier records as nornal model.

                              The only product they mentioned, which does not come with universal remote is 'Satellite Box 1002' and it is wall mountable. This is it self cears that they should provide me universal remote or they producing and marketing falsely to the indian customers.

                              Point no 1. The don't have the specific model no in thier records. It is a mistake.

                              Point no 2. Why they are not providing the universal remote for the models other than '1002'.

                              I don't know how many of them facing this problem. But I am sure vediocon misleading with thier ads and in the indian market. Please dont forget to go through the below product details that will prove the fraud.

                                I have submitted my Videocon Mobile (Model No- V1675) to your authorized service center “Singh & Sons Communication- Jail Road, New Delhi” on 30th August, 09 due to some problem. The problem was, I was not able to hear the voice of person speaking from other side. So I have submitted my mobile and received the job card. I have been said, your mobile will be ready within a week. But till today, the problem is still pending and no initiative is taken. Whenever I call or Visit your service center, I have been again asked for one day time. Same story is being repeated again & again. I have logged a complaint in your Customer Care too (Complaint No-AMI[protected]) but again nothing has happened.

                                1 month warranty period is wasted with no use. I have lost complete trust on your services but still looking for your co-operation. And if you still fail to deliver your promise then please take your handset along with the kits and return the money.

                                I request you to please deliver my mobile in next given date i.e. 28th Sep, 09, else I’ll go to consumer Forum, asking for compensation for wasting one month of service and also return my money.

                                Kindly do the needful.

                                  e executive told me this no is not on your id proof. I have receving with the signature of person who has collected my id proof with this no. So please look in this matter and solve this problem.Otherwise i will take media action regarding this.

                                  sir am using videocon sim..my number was bocked for address verification. i book the complaint on 1-12-10, they called me on 3-12-10 for verification, The verification was success. after the verification till now[protected] they din't activate my number. i called customer care 4 times a day they wer asking for the time for two and three hours. there is no response from them. i also talked with the higher officer he also ask me 4 hours time on[protected]. but there is no use.. am totally vexed by using this network.one of the worst network and customer car which i've even seen in my life is VIDEOCON..

I call the videocon customer care 198 for competent for it, but their no replay from 3days, All the time its give message "Our all the customer care officer are busy." I want my 30 Rupees back. I have simple mobile I haven't use any types of facility in my mobile, So please call me and give my money back and close all the facilities witch is other charged.

                                    I have bought Videocon Lcd TV Model NO. 2602 with inbuilt D2h on 20th December 2009. Since last two months there is problem with the smart card. I have been repeatedly complaining the customer care department regarding the issue. The engineers come change the cards and go , but the error still remains. I am fed up of complaining with no results happening. I wish to return the product back.

                                    How could i go about doing this.

                                      I cannot view any channels using D2H, I keep getting error every time.Since the time I have bought this satellite box I've been facing lot of problems.
                                      1st time something went wrong inside the box and it stopped working
                                      2nd time we had to change the entire board of the satellite box, We used to get electric current to that box and it kept upgrading every day (complaint no[protected].
                                      Now the new board is installed in the satellite box few days back but now we getting technical error every day.
                                      I tried calling customer care, It says you are in the queue and your number is 14-15 but by the time it comes down to 1 call gets disconnected.
                                      Spoke to the technician( complaint no[protected] who came to my house to replace the satellite box, he said issue is because of rains, However i have D2H in my parents house too but they are not facing any issue.
                                      Today one of your executive visited my place when I was not at home. He gave me a call and said door is closed. When I told him should have called before coming he disconnected the call and left.. I tried calling him again but he didn't bother to answer and also this executive shows lot of attitude and keeps saying this is the worst satellite service and you better go for another one...
                                      If videocon really wants to create good impression in this competetive world they really need to improve service also hire people who can do better branding of videocon.

                                        None of the DTH service providers including TATASKY, RELIANCE BIG TV, DISH TV, AIRTEL DTH, VIDEOCON D2H, SUN TV, DD DIRECT PLUS are providing Islamic Channels to their Muslim Viewers. Whereas they are providing all other religious channels. Why this partiality being done and why the Government is not taking stern action for this partiality. These channels are providing other religious channels like, Astha, Sanskar, God Tv etc. We, all Indian muslims appeal to you to take up the matter with the concerned authorities and please arrange to include the islamic channels viz, QTV, Peace TV also in religious channels respecting the sentiments of indian muslims.

                                        Why I & B ministry has not given permission to show Peace TV, which is an Indian Channel (Free to air channel) and a very informative and good channel not only for Muslims but for everybody. Instead how I & B ministry has given permission to other religious channels which are not Indian channels but are now being shown by most of the DTH operaters. These are lame excuses by I & B Ministry as well as all DTH operators. We are secular only on paper.

Since Jan 2011.I am submiting a feed back That Whenever there is nil balance in my account. Than Goverment Chhannel should not be blocked by Videocon d2h. But since that time no feed bace came to me niether any phone call. So iam Forwarding the same said above. My question is that how videocon d2h stoped the government chhannel are they are any think to government if at all let us know.
