Hey guys college, manish, rockstar, deepasneha. college wont help you in any way. you must meet registar in belgaum and submit your request letter and you will surely get permission added you guys have completed your course on site but left out with few backlogs.

@prashant : I am from 2003 batch, completed my 4 year engineering course in 2010, I have 1 backlog now. I went to college few days back, they told me to submit the request to college and they would forward the letter to VTU(registar).
my joined year is 2007 and I pass out at 2012 n I detained in 4th sem n re-joined 5th sem after an year I got good result in final year n but the problem is that I have 1 sub back in 5th sem that I not yet cleared till now and from 1 year I’m getting same marks if I did well also Don’t no why this happening with me and 6 years has been completed . my question is Was I able to write exam in coming sem or I consider as not fit to be technical for only one subject, even I called vtu they said that I can write exam in next sem but i’m not sure so ple anyone answer me ple ple
Guys help me please, i am rakshith diploma student, 2007 th batch, i took up exam in june 2013, but it didnt go well, i have back logs in 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th sem, one in each, till when can i take up the exams, ie for diploma candidates how many years ???
hi all if you guys have completed course (8th sem) and asking permission to clear left out pending subjects to get your degree you guys are safe, without completing course and asking for permission or extension then ditch it you are in serious trouble.

We are 2006 batch students of visveswaraya Technology university. The time to complete our course was 8 years, failing which we will be given NFTC (not fit for technical course).We 2006 batch students already completed 7 years of duration and upto third year of our course. But due to a single gate paper many o[censored]s failed to enter final year. And according rules of VTU's course duration we are being asked to discontinue the course.
So in order to complete our course we are asking visveswaraya Technology university to give us 2 more years. We have already sent a request letter to university with names of students of our college on this Saturday dated 28 september. But we have not received any reply from the university yet. So we have decided to go to university personally and request them to extend our course duration. But the problem is that we are only from 1 college and only 10 students. We need support of all students of 2006 batch who have not completed their course yet from all colleges affiliated to VTU. We have decided to go before 7 Th of October because the date of filling the fees have come and 7 Th October is last with out paying fine. With fine it is upto 11 Th October. Those who want to come with us to VTU please comment below with contact number so that we can finalize the date. If you are not a student of 2006 batch, but a junior then please tell your friend of 2006 batch about this blog. So that we can contact him.
It is very important for us to get 2 more years to complete the course.We were 17 year old when we joined the BE course of Visvesvaraya technology university but now we are 25 years old. At this stage we cannot start over again from the beginning because it will take another 5 years to complete the new course and find a job and more over no one hire's a 30 year old fresher for a job. And our parents will not fund for new course for another 5 years. Most of our friends parent have retired. so it is very difficult for them to fund us. We also cannot go for a business because it requires a huge capital and also some training in the desired field. We have paid huge fees to our college every year. And it will also be a money loss for us. And we are also hugely attached to our course branch and the subjects.
This is very depressing situation for us. We have studied upto 3 rd year. and if we don't get extension now then our study and hard work of these many years will go in drain. And we will be back to what we were 7 years ago. We will have to remain illiterate. And we will also not be able live with dignity in society. Because education bring dignity and good behavior. Many o[censored]s may commit suicide. and many may opt for crime since their studies cannot be funded by their parents if they wish to start studying in new course.
It is not that we have not studied, we did hard work but due to some circumstances this has happened. many o[censored]s had accidents and many had personal problems. On top of that VTU's year back system has contributed to this problem. After year back we were at home all day with nothing to do except house work and frequent taunts from our parents. this made us lazy and took away from us our habit of studying and on top of all it effected our confidence. Even after studying and hardwork, broken confidence and fear led to this. Thus we are requesting the VTU officials to be sympathetic towards us. and we request you to support us and help us and pray for us.

guys even I have two subjects back. why cant we go for court to put the case on VTU . that we had done 99% of engineering. but finally for one or two subjects that why we should spoil our whole life, with out proper job, waste of time for seven to eight years, what they think if we wont clear one or two that we have to ruin our life . whats this [censored]ing rules. lets stand against vtu for our rights in the court. so that we can get the justice for this. please mail me if any one interested in filing a case against vtu in the court.
