Hi,
I purchased my new dell laptop 5420 inspiron from Authorised Dell website. It was 16gb ram and 1 tb SSD . I purchased it on 4th Aug 2022 as per Invoice date. Since first day heat issue was there and I raised the complaint and raised a message to Dell support Assist and Dell Support . I raised a concern that heat issue is there since first day and please send an engineer so that physically he can check it as it will not resolved by troubleshooting online with the Social media support engineer. Physically an engineer is required. They denied each time I was following their instructions and they passed the 1 month and after that when they don't know words to troublshoot more then they send an engineer and engineer has replaced the Fan and other one unit. After that as well issue is same for the heat. Now I asked them to replace my laptop and now they are saying that 1 month has passed so we can not replace it. We can just give you a support . I told them that since my first day it was an heat issue and it is an hardware issue why you were not sending the engineer now they are telling me the story we can not replace it as per their policy which I don't know since my first day of purchase a laptop. Now they are telling me they have escalated it and they are not assuring me that it will be replaced . They will contact me within 24 hours. Still no reply . It was not my fault that 1 month has passed as I was following them since my first day when I was facing the issue. SO many times I told them that Please understand that it was delay from your support members they have passed a month. It was not my fault. I am asking to replace my laptop as I already troubleshoot your all scenarios which you have shared me in a month and it was delayed from your end so it is your responsibility to replace it. It is not customer end delay it is delayed from Dell support. Still waiting to replace my laptop if they will provide the go ahead. I am totally in vain and pain after purchasing a laptop with extended warranty in 88000rs.
