The following is submitted for your kind information and further necessary action as deemed fit please :-
1. On 28/09/2015 at around 6 p.m. while I was going back from office ie Sena Bhawan, I stopped my bike at Kirbi Place Red Light till the red light could change to green. I was quite slow on complete left side ahead of DTC bus, the DTC bus route No 588 (Bus No DL 1P C 1022) going towards Tilak Nagar overtook me speedily in such a way that I had a narrow escape but my right side rear view mirror was broken. I shivered badly. The Driver could had run but due to jam/dropping of passengers at Kirbi Place, had to stop the bus. I immediately approached the bus driver from behind and asked him "I had a narrow escape otherwise you could had killed me". I asked him to make good of my loss. Instead of feeling sorry for his mistake he misbehaved with me. I asked him to make good of my loss otherwise, the matter will be reported to the Police. He threatened me and said "Tu kya report karega, report to teri main karunga" I said okay, you call the police, let the police come and decide. But he rang no where and asked the passengers to de-board and arrange for another bus.
2. Seeing the attitude of the bus driver, I approached the Lady SI madam on duty at Kirbi Place and apprised her of the case, she immediately rushed to the spot with her cops. SI Madam asked the driver to make good of my loss. He misbehaved with traffic police even and asked them to prepare chalan, he does not mind for that. On inquirying by the Traffic Police, it was found that the Driver's driving license had expired. On this, the constable asked the driver "since your license is already expired as such you are driving without license". On this he once again said "Kar do kar do mera chalan kar do". One kind of Dadagiri/gundagardi of the Driver.
3. I was standing aside and waiting, if some stern action is taken against the driver as well as I am compensated for the loss. But I saw the bus was made to move out without compensating to me by the Driver. I am not aware as what action was initiated by the Traffic Police against the driver.
4. Keeping in view the above, I humbly request the authorities concerned at all levels for the following :-
a) Initiate a strict action against the driver as deemed fit.
b) Who and how the Driver is permitted to ply bus with an expired Driving Licence ?
c) Ask the driver to make good of my loss.
d) What action was initiated by the Traffic Police against the driver for such an indiscipline?
