EaseMyTrip.com — Booked Resort but was not accommodated

I booked a standard room on Anora resort for July 10th through easeMyTrip. While other sites were displaying No Rooms Available but only easeMyTrip was showing rooms available on that resort. I was delightful that finally i was able to book a room and the rate was very minimal. Standard room including tax was 2200 while other sites was displaying minimum 4500. I am not sure why I lost my common sense that day when I saw that much minimum rate. On July 10th I went to that resort almost travelling 80 Kms along with my wife and 3 year old kid. But to the utmost shock when I went to the resort they told we don't have rooms here and we are not tied up with easeMyTrip. The resort didnt receive any confirmation mail too. When I checked with easeMyTrip customer care they told will resend confirmation mail. But waited for an hour i didn't receive any confirmation mail. Spoke with manager in resort, he started asking me why I booked in online rather than speaking to the resort directly. After regular follow ups I decided to come back home after spoiling a weekend for me and my family. I feel easeMyTrip is a scam.
