Evok — Bad quality of product | ||
This is with reference to Order Number : 12212787 Order Date : 01-Sep-2020 Brand: Evok by hindware My husband, Wing Commander Tarun Gupta (retired) had ordered a 2-seater sofa on 1st September 2020 with down payment of Rs 16191/-. The material use is engineered wood. After a long wait, the sofa was delivered post many reminders in the first week of October. By December 20th, the cushions of the sofa are distorted and one panel is cracked. Mind you there are no children in the house to jump over it. Total sitting on it till December 20th was not more than 50 hours, nor only one seat of it is used for a prolonged period of time. Have attached a few images to show the present condition of it. Considering the brand image of Evok and satisfaction from the previous product, we are much disappointed with the quality of this sofa against the money and time (delayed delivery) it has costed us. We made a complaint on December 20th to [protected]@evok.in. We requested them to revoke the return policy and please take it back and refund our money. We understand that their return policy of 15 days, but that does not address the issue of the product (solid as furniture) going bad within 60-90 days. We received no response. A reminder was sent on December 29th, and received an acknowledgement of the receipt of complaint but till date nothing has happened. No action, no further response from their side. We stay in Noida.
