I purchased a Roman King Bed on 24th August 2014 from Delhi, Kirti Nagar Showroom. Bill attached.
Just after 2 weeks of installation and using the bed at my home, I started facing noise issues in the base of the bed.
There was weird noise that started coming as soon as I used to sit on bed. Initially, it looked like it was a installation issue.
I reported this issue to the concerned person, Mr Ashwini [Executive who showed me the bed] in Kirti Nagar store and explained him about the issue.
There was no action done initially. Upon multiple follow ups, Mr Ashwini logged a complaint on my behalf.
The repair staff was sent at my home in the month of Jan'15 [Almost 4 months after my consistent complaints]. He checked the issue and stated that this is a minor issue and will be rectified with screw tightning. The staff did some minor repair on the same day and to my much surprise, the issue was not fixed on the same day. Not only this, he cut down a portion of bed using axe (Pic attached) and mentioned that this is unwanted piece on the bed which was causing the noise issue.
Even after cutting the piece, the issue was not fixed. I raised the concern at the same moment again and he asked me to talk to his service manager.
I explained the issue to the service manager (Mr. Chitranjan) and he assured me that there will be another visit and the issue will be fixed.
3 days after, more techincal repair staff revisited my house. They looked into the issue and explained that there is a known problem with Roman King Bed and already they have received similar complaints in the past. To fix the issue, they added 3 wood logs on the base of the bed (They mentioned that this will give additional support). This was even more surprising for me as it was just 4 months of purchase of bed and already workarounds were applied to fix the issue.
When I spoke to Mr. Chitranjan (Service Manager) again, he assured me that the issue will be now fixed. I clearly mentioned that workaround is not needed and I need a permanent fix. Upon this, he mentioned that if the issue again comes after the workaround, we will take this on priority and provide a replacement.
Now, its been just 5 days since the workaround has been applied and the bed has again started giving issues in same areas.
Again, I have noise issues. The base of the bed has again gone loose. This is so disappointing for me as I have invested hugely on the beds and I have not got good quality beds.
The quality that has been commited to me is so compromising. This is a clear case of cheat from EVOK.
I would demand a complete refund to me asap or a replacement of bed (Either brand new Roman King with no issues or a bed of similar value of money of my taste).
Please take this issue on utmost priority as this is highly disappointing for me right now.
