This is regarding my grievance arising out of the purchase of an Airbike worth Rs. 9000 from your store (Sector- 63) on 6th December 2020. My purchase of a treadmill worth Rs. 35, 000/- & the said Air Bike was delivered to my house on 8th December 2020. On 10th December 2020. Neither of the products contained any branding and when enquired two people were sent to my house to paste stickers on the equipments 2 days later. I brought my seating concern to the notice of the Fitness World manager Mr. Sanjeev. I had informed him of the seating problem of the airbike and the resultant agony and extreme pain in using the said bike. The space between the handles and the seats is too much thereby causing severe pain while exercising on it. It can neither be used as an airbike or for simple cycling purposes. It has been lying unused since the first use at my house. He told me to visit the store on 13th December (today) to look into the matter. However, I could not visit the store due to health issues. Therefore, I rang him up to resolve the issue. He informed me that the bike cannot be returned according to the refund policy, that I will have to purchase some other item in place. On having a look at the catalogue and enquiring about the price, all the prices quoted to me were of higher range.
This refund policy of 'no returns, only exchange of products' (that too of higher prices) is unreasonable and biased against the consumer. It is only aimed at forcing the consumer to remain with the defective product or shell out more money. In any case, I have notified your shop about my grievance very early in time and even amazon has a 10 days replacement policy.
I'm unable to use the airbike, so I request you to kindly take it and issue my refund at the earliest Was this information helpful? |
