I have the following mobile insurance for samsung s4. the handset screen broke in January 2016 however : claim has been declined now due to :
Please refer to the policy no[protected], against Samsung S4 handset.
I have urged for repair – for broken screen/LCD of the handset last
month. Initially the request was kept on hold stating 6 months GAP
between services.
Later after holding for this time period it was told to me that the
same is deemed “non repairable” by insurer as the cost of repair is
exceeding 60% of the current market value to the replacement handset.
The handset value given to me by your staff is 18000/-. The 60% of
this value is 10800/-.
I have got the handset checked from Samsung and got a quotation for
repairing from Samusung authorized center which is coming to 9731 /-
(including the charging jack). Which is within the 60% limit of the
clause in the policy.
This is breach of the agreement document by the company and client. it is stated clearly.

-- handset repair or 80% of repair cost from samsung authorised service center.
