This is w.r.t HappyFares regarding their failure to refund the amount for an airline ticket that was cancelled by the airlines.
I booked a flight ticket through HappyFares with booking reference number HBCALO8O. Regrettably, the airline cancelled the flight due to reasons beyond my control. As per the terms and conditions of both HappyFares and the airline, I am entitled to receive a full refund for the cancelled ticket.
HappyFares have raised the cancellation ticket on 29 February 2024 and the site mentions 5-7 days for settlement, standing at 02 April 2024 without any solution!
Despite multiple attempts to communicate with HappyFares and request a refund, I have not received any reimbursement or satisfactory response regarding the status of my refund request. The lack of transparency and accountability in handling this issue is deeply concerning and reflects poorly on the level of service provided by the company. Their parent body(s) being Travelogy Online Private Limited, Travelogy Holidays Private Limited, Travelogy Online LLP, etc.
I would like to emphasize that the cancellation was initiated by the airline, and as a consumer, I expect to be refunded the full amount paid for the unused ticket in a timely manner, but they keep dilly dallying every week, responding that it will take another 20-25 days.
