I have been facing frequent office VPN disconnections and inspite of raising several complaints Hathway was not able to resolve the problem, so I had switch the service to another ISP where now I don't see any issues. So I have raised request for connection termination and enquired about adavance refund they informed post modem collection they will process it. Now they are not providing refund stating the below

Referring to your mail, We would like to inform you that the deposit refund of Rs.400/- can be processed only if the customer is active for 3 years. since the initial activation date and disconnects the services.
As your account was taken on 7th June 2019 and has not been active for 3 years, we are sorry to inform you, Hence we are unable to process the refund of the deposit amount as per the policy.
