Hitachi : No After-Sales-service
(Invoice number 2016-17/80 Dates 15-Apr-2016) I purchased Hitachi Air Conditioner in April 2016 with hefty price which has been giving many many problems to me since then and I have to spend money every now and then to keep the AC in working condition.
In the recent event remote of the AC gone out of order in July 2022 I have been calling up their customer care regularly only to get an original remote control of the AC but they are not interested to make the remote control available. They even quoted INR 950 (by Hitachi representative Nadir from Greater Noida Service Center) for the remote which I am very much okay to pay but they are not interested in giving after-sales-service hence they never tried to make the remote available to me.
Initially they promised to provide the genuine Hitachi Remote Control in 48 hours of registering the request on their customer care number.
I have been calling up them every alternate day for the AC remote and they reply me single line "wait for tomorrow, remote will reach to you". I am feeling completely trapped and dupped by Hitachi.
I always believed this brand with impression Hitachi is customer oriented product company and therefore I purchased an AC with hefty money but now I realize that was my mistake. My believe in Hitachi has shattered.
This is an indirect message from Hitachi that a customer should to buy a new AC rather than buying just a tiny remote control. I am feeling badly trapped by Hitachi as I am unable to use the AC for more than 2 months now even after spending huge money for buying it. This is how they exploiting their customers. Please help me to get rid of this mess and I promise not to buy anything again from Hitachi and advise the same to my near and dear ones.
