Sir/Madam,
I took housing loan from ICICI Bank in Oct 2006 vide No. LBHYD[protected]. At the same time I took Loan care Policy vide No. 4043/0000002/ICICI/HL/0019133 & Standard fire & Perils policy vide No. 1001/0023793/ICICI/HL/001933 from ICICI Lombard. Recently on Nov 18, 2008; I transferred my home loan to Central Bank of India (CBI) from ICICI Bank. In the existing policy vide mentioned above the ‘Insured’ is ICICI Bank.
As I transferred loan to CBI, I consulted Customer care of ICICI Lombard to change ‘Insured’ from ICICI Bank to CBI, I was informed that, change in the insurer’s Name is not possible and the only option left with me is to cancel the policy. Hence I gave a request to cancel the policy vide req. No.[protected].
Later I received SMS stating that policy is canceled (on Dec 04, 2008).
But, in second week of December, I received a phone call from Mr. Kaushik of Mumbai; that, I need not cancel the policy as policy can be endorsed in the name of Central Bank of India, if property and the insured person are same. He also said in your case it is possible as the property address and insured person remains same. I also hinted at that, Customer care officer has said it’s not possible, he replied they are not aware about this condition, now as policy has come to me for cancellation I am calling you. I told him about SMS as mentioned above. He also gave me the mobile number of Mr. Anjeney, your representative at Hyderabad. Later Mr. Anjeney consulted me and told that, its possible to insure the policy in CBI’s name ans he require some documents. Then in Email correspondence he asked me to give a letter for request in change of name, No Objection Certificate from ICICI Bank and disbursement letter from Central Bank. I communicated the same to him. Later on telephonic enquiry Mr.Anjeney told that he has received all documents needed and soon he will dispatch the corrected policy documents. When I didn’t received documents till January 2009, I enquired with Mr.Anjeney again, he told that, recently only your documents has been dispatched and you will be receiving the same soon. But I didn’t receive any thing. I again called on Jan 20, Mr. Anjeney told that I will enquire and let you know. He didn’t called. Later When I called again, he said that it has been delivered and to Nellore address, which address is no way related to me. So he said that he will see what’s gone wrong and communicate. But there was no communication. Later whenever I called, some time he did not lifted, some time he said, I am on leave, some time he said, I am in meeting and once he said our operations manager some Aparna (or Alpana) will call you. But no calls. On Jan 22, I had a long 9 minutes discussion with him where he assured that by 12.00 Noon on Jan 23, 2009 he will solve my problem without fail. But no reply. So on Jan 24, 2009 I called to Mr. Anjeney at 2.30 PM. He simply received the call but didn’t replied it happed twice. So finally I called Mr. Kaushik at Mumbai, he feel wondered by knowing case is not solved so he connected me to Mr. Venkatesh, senior to Mr. Anjeney. Mr. Venkatesh assured me that within 20 minutes he will reply me. Later the last call I got from your office that the name in the policy can not be changed and I need to cancel the policy.
When I want to lodge this complain to their senior officer so called sitting in service quality control, through their web site, the link provided is now working. From 3 days whenever I click on link, the page is displaying ' we can't provide service now please try later'
This is the way ICICI Lombard is harrasing the customers.

Complaint marked as Resolved
My Policy Number is 4063/FHR/0350/1602/00/0000
I have made 3 claims related to my Heart Problem followed by Angiography and Bypass Surgery to TTK Health Services who the TPA of ICICI Lombard Health Insurance.
Please note that my claim numbers are as follows
BLC-01-09-CN-L00650
BLC-01-09-CN-L00651
BLC-01-09-CN-L00652
Please note that I received a letter from TTK saying that there was some shortfall of documents in one of the claims. The documents requested in the letter were not at all originally required, but still I provided all the necessary documents hoping for some positive action from them. They received my shortfall documents on 29th Jan 2009 and told me that it takes 7 working days to process those documents. I waited till 6th Feb and then starting from 7th Feb I have been calling them every alternate day and they tell me that the documents are under process. They always say that I should get some answer in 2 days. This way I have lost another 1 month and still I am not getting any positive reply.
I hope to solve this problem by reporting this to you.
Thank you very Much. You can also call me at [protected].
