I took IELTS for the second time after getting overall score of 6.5 in first attempt, where itself I felt the test is a scam. But then I thought of retrying it and prepared well through a coaching and appeared for the second time where I scored overall 8 but again they knowingly lowered my mark in writing to 6.5 where in the first attempt I scored 7. I was booking for 27th Jan 2024 Ielts slot in siliguri but I after I completed the payment, I didn’t get any confirmation instead i got an email saying “Complete your booking”.

    I made a payment to Website IDP but they didn't receive later amount was credited to their account but now they are not refunding without chargeback email from sbi and my branch manager is saying we don't have this facility.

    I want to highlight my complain I made a UPI transaction Gpay on 24th July 2023 to a IDP website for my exam at the time of payment my amount was deducted but registeration for exam was failed so i called there customer service and they said that money will be refunded within 5 days I waited for 5 days I didn't receive my refund then i contacted sbi customer care they raised charge back from beneficiary bank they asked 15 days time and i waited still they didn't refund.
    now Idp refused to refiund my 16, 250 without chargeback email from bank and bank says we dont have any facility regarding this.

      Dear IELTS IDP Team,

I am writing to express my concern regarding the non-receipt of a confirmation email or message for my IELTS Academic Test (computer-based examination) that I booked on the 10th of October. The scheduled test date is on the 14th of October, in the afternoon. Given the proximity of the exam date, I am understandably anxious about this oversight.

      To provide a brief overview:

      - Test Type: IELTS Academic (Computer-Based)
      - Booking Date: 10th October
      - Examination Date: 14th October
      - Timing: Afternoon session
      - Fee Amount: INR 16, 400

      The fee amount of INR 16, 400 has already been deducted from my account. As evidence, I have attached my payment confirmation message that I received from my bank. Additionally, for your reference and to expedite the process, I have also attached the information that I provided during the registration.

      I understand that technical glitches can happen, but considering the short span of time left before my examination, I am reaching out to request your immediate assistance in this matter. It is essential for me to have the necessary details and be fully prepared for the exam.         My name is Smriti Sian, and I recently registered for the IELTS examination through IDP. I am writing to bring to your attention a matter of concern regarding my recent transaction.

        On 4.10.2023, I made a payment of INR 16, 250 for the IELTS examination, with the payment ID Number [protected]. However, to date, I have not received any confirmation email or communication from your end regarding my registration for the exam.

        Given the upcoming deadlines and the importance of timely registration, I kindly request you initiate the refund process for the deducted amount of INR 16, 250 as soon as possible. Please find attached the transaction receipt for your reference.

          My results have been withheld without valid reasons and I'm not receiving proper responses to multiple emails regarding the same. I attempted the computer-delivered IELTS twice, first on 10th Aug, 2023 and second on 30th Aug, 2023. Since I got only a band 7 on the first attempt, I prepared very hard for the next 20 days and attempted again on 30th Aug. This was the one I was expecting better results but results have been withheld. I've paid 16250 for this exam twice in the last month and I'm not rich. It is not right that we keep paying to take this prestigious exam and then feel cheated out of it.
          Results Investigation of IDP asked me to send a hand-written document about my test performance and I've sent in within 2 days of receiving the email, but nobody from the test centre or any IDP authority has called me back or written back with any valid information. They say there's no deadline for quality check of withhelp results, which is unfair to us who are on a timeline for job offers. The money I paid is also lost to me. When I call the helpline or interact through IDT chat desk, there is no help either.

            Respected Sir/Mam,

            I am here to inform you that today(11th September 2023), I booked IELTS Pen and Paper based test for Exam to be held in 23rd September, at 12:55 PM noon time.
            The amount Rs. 16250 however was deducted from my account but the slot has not been booked yet. This means that Confirmation regarding payment and test still has not been sent to me yet. I have paid the amount through Google pay via (powered by HDFC) but i still dont recieve confirmation via email or Sms from IDP. Below are my transaction details:

            Please, resolve my issue as fast as possible as I want to verify test slot as soon as possible (before it gets late) when get the refund.

                I successfully completed the payment process, and the required amount was debited from my bank account. However, to my dismay, I have not received any confirmation email or SMS regarding my booking.                 As you can imagine, preparing for the IELTS exam requires extensive time and effort. Without a confirmation of my booking, I am left in a state of limbo, not knowing whether or not I should continue with my preparation or if there has been an error in the system.

                  My name is syeda Tabassum fatima hussain, passport no. X7144722 and my test centre was idp cd test centre, jubilee hills, Hyderabad.I Took IELTS GENERAL CBT TEST ON 5TH AUGUST 2023 . At the very beginning of the test the male examiner did not restart the computers for us .He saw that we have entered our login details and still our test was 0% loaded .He saw this on our screen and simply walked away.Later on a lady faculty came and she asked didn't the Sir restart your computer & restarted our computers but time had already started for the test but we had to wait again for restarting of computers after that we logged in again but we lost 10 mins and in my result they gave 5.5 in reading due to which my fee of 16250 is wasted .I want the exam centre to go through my scores of reading sections especially and increase the score to atleast 6 and above as it is completely the negligence of the examiners.Even in speaking test the examiner was half of the time her eyes were closed.She also seemed religiously biased and made faces when I spoke about a religious place in my answer.You can go through my voice recording and see that I deserve more than 7.5 .I am devastated by the way Idp has intentionally decided to to fail students.
                  I want IDP AUTHORITY TO TAKE STRICT ACTION AGAINST THEM AND SEE THAT MY OVERALL SCORE IS INCREASED FOR JUSTICE !!! I have paid a hefty amount not to get into depression scheme given by IDP CENTRE JUBILEE HILLS BRANCH.

                    I didn't got a registeration mail and I have no response from your company about receiving my payment.

                      Test results not declared

                      I had appeared for the IELTS general test conducted by IDP on 24th Jun 2023 and I had paid INR 16500 for this.

                      The result was to be declared on the 13th day. However, they have not released my result till date and it has been 1 month.

                      The reason stated by them is that they withhold results from time to time to check the effectiveness of their processes.
                      How can they withhold any ones results to check the...

                          I enrolled to give exam for acedemic on 19th Aug 2023, I did booked my slot too but duirng payment my transaction got failed in 1st attempt which is through UPI( Phone Pe) as the payment done in 2nd attempt. I can see the 1st attempt transaction got successful. Kindly, Please refund that additional amount paid(16, 250 Rupees). I mailed and called Customer Service no responses yet.

                          On 27th June i booked a ielts test from IDP INDIA website, money was debited (₹16250) from my bank account but no conformation is received.

                          Many time i call the coustomer care but the said one thing only that money is refunded in 7 to 10 working days.

                            After filling all the details, I proceeded towards paying the exam fees of 16, 250 through UPI via Razor-pay. The payment got debited from my bank account but as soon as I reached back to the IDP website, it started showing 404 error . Message from bank account came regarding the debit but I haven’t received any confirmation email or message from the IDP regarding the booking of exam.
                            Help me with this.
                            I also have reference id, details and screenshots of payment.

                                Hello, Harpreet this side, i want to notify that i filled my ielts exam form yesterday along with my 2 friends by our mobile phones.
                                After filling all the details, we proceeded towards paying the exam fees of 16, 250 through UPI via Razorpay. The payment got debited from our bank accounts but as soon as we reached back to the IDP website, it started showing 404 error . Message from bank account came regarding the debit but we haven’t received any confirmation email or message from the IDP regarding the booking of exam .

                                  I made payment through qr code by scanning it through pyatm scanner. The payment was successful. But, i did not get any confirmation mail or registration details after that.
                                  Please resolve this issue asap.
