IDP IELTS — blunder in applying abroad

Hello, i have assisted to idp vijayawada branch for my son's undergraduation. They have blindly applied for university studies/explore technology at virginia tech blacksburg inspite of our desire to join in computer science engineering for which my son is completely eligible for with his very good academic record. We approached them as we were unaware of the process of applying for abroad studies, i have been asking them and saying we want only cs engineering in any applied university. After we got i20 only we came to know that they have applied for undecided major n for which my son is suffering though he joined in vt as there is no other option for us. We have been very depressed along with my son when asked we tried our best but we can't do anything was their answer how could your organisation be such careless in applying, i wanted to take action on it consultancy.
