Hello,
My name is Lhamu Doma Bhutia and I had booked and paid an amount of Rs 11, 300 on August 1st, 2020, for my EILTS Indicator Online Test which was to be held on 5 August, 2020, i.e yesterday!
Regarding my payment issue I I wrote to British Council Exams Customer Care India, elts.[protected]@britishcouncil.org, ielts.[protected]@idp.com, called their customer care, but either there was no response from them or they referred me to different emails mentioned above, which are all unresponsive. I only get no-reply, automated messages from them!!!
I know the cover-19 situation is making things a bit difficult for some online processes, but IELTS IDP being such a reputed organisation, should not be so irresponsible as to not even give its test-taker a receipt of their payment.
I still don’t know if EILTS has acknowledged my payment or not. The money has been debited from my bank account already.
Yesterday was supposed to be my test date and I haven't even been provided with any information regarding my exams!
I have tried for the past 5 days on different contact numbers given on IELTS IDP's website, IELTS Indicator's website, its many branches spread across India, I even called IELTS British Council- all but to no avail, my issue remains unresolved.
I just need to know that my payment has been approved and would I be able to take the test!
I have attached a screenshot of my payment for the test and my EILTS indicator account which doesn't show anything in my payment status. I never expected this kind of carelessness from such a huge organisation from IELTS!
I don't know if this will ever get a good response even here. I really hope someone who can help me sees this. Besides, I really need my IELTS certificate soon for my application.
