Its with deep regret that am sending a mail again. From April 16 from the time i was exposed to a family who had covid, i have been updating the status and finally when i was tested positive on April 19, when my rtpcr reports came also i had sent a mail to refund my exam.
My initial date was on April 24 and i was sure that i wont be able to travel to Bangalore for this with my health condition. Since then me and my family have been calling to the ielts customer service, nothing happened other than losing time by hoping atleast one customer care provider would be connected.
Then the rule of Bangalore lockdown came and then naturally the dates got postponed and j got a mail saying click on the link and postpone the exam date. Since i was sure the customer care is the worst and i cant trust them by hoping that they would either give a reply to my mail or call, i took a tentative date for june 5th.
Again i tried calling, i was just wasting my time and i finally got connected to a customer service provider on phone on may 18. She wasted my 39.35 minutes and at the end she said i would get a mail within 24 hours and again i was cheated.
I would need a clarity on this and i can't waste my time on this. As per the rules, cancelation of exams and refunding for medical emergency prior 5 days of examination should get a refund after the cancelation of local administrative cost.
I informed am in quarrantine on april 16 as i had developed symptoms which was 8 days prior and then again i informed that i was positive after getting my rtpcr report again 5 days prior to the exam date.
Sir,
I am asking for a refund again as am not in a condition to travel and write the exam. I am sorry to say if you fail to give a clarity on my claims i can even approach the consumer service of india which has clear laws for all of this. I would also be trying to contact the ielts official people as well.
