Hi, I had booked a confirmed ticket for my dad from Thane (TNA) to Ankola (ANKL) on train 12619 on the 7Sep. PNR No [protected] FYR.
The train was scheduled to depart at 01:00 PM but was however delayed by over 12 hours to 01:00AM.
There was no intimation of the same and my dad who is a senior citizen had to go there wait and come back home and then go again.
This is a huge inconvenience for senior citizen. People needed to going to the train station to get updated of delays. We provide our numbers for confirmation of tickets while booking. Why wasn't the same information used to notify of such delays. We expect some strict action to be taken about such inconvenience caused.
