1. There is a time limit for submission the complaint for a delayed baggage:
7 days or 21 days following the flight, if the baggage is not receved.
You have attemtit to the agent of air carrier somwhere, but thy refused to accept your claim and failed to issue property irregulatory report.
You need to have:
- your bag tag
- PROPERTY IRREGULATORY REPORT (PIR) or DAMAGE REPORT, issued by the agent
- e-ticiket
2. The air carrier liablity for damaged/delayed bagage is limitted by the law.
All claims have to be addresed to the air carrier at the air carrier site,
which have 21 days for the bagage delivery to the owner home/hotel following the receipt of the complaint.
They refused to accept the complaint,
so you can claim for the additional compensation from air carrier.
In 15 the decsion on the compensation or refusal has to be issued by air carrier to your e-mail box.
3. Following 15 days, all disputes on damages have to be resolved in the court of the country of the departure or of the arrival, and not later tha in 1 or in 2 years, depening upon the country.
4. You are advised to save
1. bag tag
3. e-ticket
3. PIR or damage report, which was issued by agent.
Otherwise you need to have an additional reply of an air carrier due to refusal to accept the complaint on the delayed registered / checked luggage in the exact date / airport.
4. any givven reply of the air carrier to your name / e- mail box.
Note, it is usless to request the same subject matter more than 2 times from the same air carrier (example, gimme 1000 ruppes for delayed luggage).
The expected expences for legal assitance can be:
- government fees [ from 200 or from 2500 ruppes ],
- legal fees for assistance of a lawyer or of legal professional [ from ~5000 rupees]
The fair court shall award all reasonable losses, moral compensation, paid fees.
