[Resolved] Indigo Airlines — non cooperation

Dear team,
Today i was travelling from bbsr to mumbai and mumbai to goa. But i missed the flight just because of 5mints late in check in. My flight was in 8:45am morning and i reached the airport at 8:25am. It was delayed due to medical emergency. Nobody help me. I stand there in indigo counter for new reservation but no body responding to me. As per my knowledge it is a service industry where customer expect help from employee. I again book a flight in air india and air asia where i got a satisfactory service. I travelled a lots of time with indigo. And i decided not to take a chance in indigo in my future. Booking referee is ue4pyj

IndiGo Customer Care's response Dear Ms Panda,
Greetings from IndiGo! With reference to your concern raised, we have investigated the matter and would like to summarize our findings for you. You were booked to travel on flight 6E- 375 from Bhubaneswar to Mumbai which was scheduled to depart at 08:45 hours on 18th December 2017. As you may be aware, boarding for our flight closes 25 minutes prior to departure. Based on our records, you reported at 08:21 hours which is 24 minutes prior to the departure. Since our boarding gate was already closed for your flight, our staff were unable to accept you for the flight. Moreover, if the booking is not cancelled and also if the passenger is unable to board the flight 25 minutes prior to its scheduled departure time, the complete ticket amount is forfeited as the seat on your original reservation went vacant. Therefore as per policy, you would be entitled to government/airport applicable taxes of passenger service fee and user development fee. Adhering to the above-stated policy, an amount of INR 539 towards no show taxes, has been refunded to the agency account. We would request you to get in touch with the concerned travel agent to claim the refund amount.

At the very outset we would like to clarify that IndiGo does not engage in any unauthorised person or mediator to secure an appointment of a candidate desirous of securing a position with IndiGo. All appointment and recruitment related work are handled by genuine and authorized officials of the Human Resources Department of IndiGo at its Gurgaon office or any location officially designated by authorised officials of IndiGo. On the same note, it is also pertinent to mention here that the Company does not indulge in the practices of collecting any processing/enrolment fees from job aspirants/candidates. It is advisable for you to approach competent authorities for a parallel investigation into the matter against such unknown errant persons.
